Description
スパンボンド繊維を含む第1及び第2の外側不織布層と;
メルトブローン繊維を含む第3の内側不織布層とを備え,
前記不織布積層体は,10%以上の結合面積割合を有する規則的な結合パターンで熱結合され,
前記不織布積層体は液圧処理され,
前記第3の内側層の坪量は少なくとも5グラム毎平方メートル(gsm)であり;及び
前記不織布積層体は4.0以上の摩耗率及び6.0グラム(g)以下のハンドルオメーター(Hand-O-Meter)(HOM)による平均測定値を有する。
本発明は,不織布を液圧処理して開口を付与するための改善された技術,及び,それらの方法を用いて製造された不織布を対象としている。
5=優=非常に少ない量の繊維が構造から取り除かれたか,まったく取り除かれなかった。
4=良=毛玉又は小さな糸の形態であり得る低レベルの繊維。
3=可=中レベルの繊維及び大きな糸又は複数の糸。
2=不可=簡単に取り除くことができる高レベルの緩い糸。
1=劣=著しい構造欠陥,孔,容易に取り除くことができる大きな緩い糸。
SMS構造及び30gsm(グラム毎メートル)の坪量を有する不織布を使用した(表1の材料4b)。不織布のスパンボンド層は,エルカ酸アミドとプロピレン系エラストマーとを含むポリプロピレンブレンドから製造された。メルトブローン層は不織布の総重量の5%を構成した。不織布のサンプルは,200mpmでの運搬速度にて,MSDスクリーンの上で3セットの液圧流を用いて,液圧処理された。
SMS構造を有し,30gsm(グラム毎平方メートル)の坪量を有する不織布,具体的には上記表1の材料2を用いた。不織布のサンプルは,MSDスクリーン上で2セットの液圧流をそれぞれ60及び80バールの圧力で,かつAS1スクリーン上で第3のセットの液圧流を100バールで用いて,50mpmの運搬速度で液圧処理した。サンプルは良好な開口,及び摩耗率4を示し,平均HOMは6.0g未満(5.29g)であった。
SMS構造を有し,30gsm(グラム毎平方メートル)の坪量を有する不織布,具体的には上記表1の材料4aを用いた。不織布のサンプルは,MSDスクリーン上で2セットの液圧流をそれぞれ60及び80バールの圧力にて,かつAS2スクリーン上で第3のセットの液圧流を150バールで用いて,50mpmの運搬速度で液圧処理した。サンプルは良好な開口,及び摩耗率3を示し,平均HOMは6.0g未満(5.29g)であった。
SMS構造を有し,30gsm(グラム毎平方メートル)の坪量を有する不織布,具体的には上記表1の材料3を用いた。不織布のサンプルは,MSDスクリーン上で2セットの液圧流をそれぞれ60及び80バールの圧力で,かつAS2スクリーン上で第3のセットの液圧流を150バールで用いて50mpmの運搬速度で液圧処理した。サンプルは許容できる開口,及び摩耗率2を示し,平均HOMは6.0g未満(4.67g)であった。
図8は,本発明の例示的な実施形態にしたがって製造された液圧処理された不織布の実施例についての追加の結果の表を示している。図8は更に,液圧処理されていないベース不織布を用いた対照サンプルについての結果も含んでいる。表に示すように,ベース不織布は5%MBであり良好な結合の(上記定義のとおりの良好な結合の)22gmsのSMSであった。特に,「SMS」はスパンボンド(SB)層にVistamaxx(登録商標)(7020BF)を15%及びエルカ酸アミドを2000ppm含み,「SMS1」はメルトブローン(MB)層にエルカ酸アミドを5000ppm及びSB層にはVistamaxx(登録商標)を15%及びエルカ酸アミドを5000ppm含み,「SMS2」はSB層にVistamaxx(登録商標)を25%及びエルカ酸アミドを2000ppm含んだ。図8に示すように,第1の対照サンプルは水処理に供されず,他のサンプルは4セットの2Rbウォータージェットストリップ(上記定義のとおり)に,MSDスクリーン(上記定義のとおり)に対してそれぞれ80~200バール間の圧力にて供された。
Claims (10)
- 不織布積層体であって,
スパンボンド繊維を含む第1及び第2の外側不織布層と;
メルトブローン繊維を含む第3の内側不織布層とを備え,
前記第1及び第2の外側不織布層の前記スパンボンド繊維は,ポリプロピレン,及び少なくとも5重量%のプロピレン系エラストマーを含み,
前記不織布積層体は,10%以上の結合面積割合を有する規則的な結合パターンで熱結合され,
前記不織布積層体は液圧処理され,
前記第3の内側層の坪量は少なくとも5グラム毎平方メートル(gsm)であり,
前記不織布積層体は6.0グラム(g)以下のハンドルオメーター(HOM)による平均測定値を有し,HOMは,変更されたWSP試験法90.3に従って測定され,平均HOMは,MD及びCDのHOM値の平均を取ることで得られる不織布積層体。 - 前記不織布積層体は水力拡張される請求項1記載の不織布積層体。
- 前記第3の内側層の坪量は,少なくとも10グラム毎平方メートルである請求項1記載の不織布積層体。
- 前記不織布層の少なくとも1つの前記繊維はスリップ剤を含む請求項1記載の不織布積層体。
- 前記不織布積層体は複数の開口を含む請求項1記載の不織布積層体。
- 請求項1記載の前記不織布積層体の製造方法であって,
連続スパンボンド繊維を含む第1の不織布層を形成すること;
連続的なメルトブロー繊維を含む第2の不織布層を形成すること;
連続スパンボンド繊維を含む第3の不織布層を形成すること;
前記第1,第2及び第3の不織布層を20ニュートン毎メートル(N/m)~60N/mの圧力で熱結合して,規則的な結合パターンを有する不織布積層体SMSを形成すること;及び
前記不織布積層体を水圧処理することを含む方法。 - 前記液圧処理の工程は,それぞれ所望のパターンを有する対応するスクリーン上で複数の水噴射工程により1つ以上の開口パターンを付与することを含み,前記複数の水噴射工程は,
前記積層体を,約80~160バールの第1の圧力範囲の複数のウォータージェットにさらす第1の水噴射工程と;
前記積層体を,約80~160バールの第2の圧力範囲の複数のウォータージェットにさらす第2の水噴射工程と;
前記積層体を,約80~160バールの第3の圧力範囲の複数のウォータージェットにさらす第3の水噴射工程とを含み,
前記第1の水噴射工程は,前記複数のウォータージェットのサブセットを80バールに保つことを更に含み,
前記不織布積層体は約5重量%のメルトブローン繊維を含む請求項6記載の方法。 - 前記1つ以上の開口パターンは,第1の開口パターンを付与することによって前記不織布ウェブに形成された少なくとも第1の開口が,第2の開口パターンを付与することによって前記不織布に形成された少なくとも第2の開口と同一位置に形成されるように位置決めされる請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記第1の開口と前記第2の開口は大きさが異なる請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記第2の開口パターンを付与することで前記不織布ウェブに形成される少なくとも第3の開口は,前記第1の開口パターンを付与することで前記不織布ウェブに開口が形成されなかった位置に形成される請求項9記載の方法。
