Abstract
Description
この非仮出願は、2015年11月12日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/254,496号「NONWOVEN WITH IMPROVED ABRASION RESISTANCE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME」の優先権を主張し、その全体は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
NuMartindale摩耗は、布帛試料の表面の耐摩耗性の尺度であり、ASTM D 4966−98(参照により本明細書に組み込まれる)に従って実施される。NuMartindale摩耗試験は、各試料にマーチンデール摩耗及びピリング試験機を用いて、各試料について40〜80回の摩耗サイクルを実施することによって実施した。全ての摩耗サイクルが完了した後、又は試験試料が破壊された後、試験結果を報告した。好ましくは、材料の表面に目に見える変化がないことが望ましい。
5=優秀=構造から取り除かれた繊維が非常に少ない〜ゼロである。
4=非常に良好=毛玉状又は小さな糸状の形態であり得る繊維が低レベルで存在する。
3=並=繊維と大きな糸又は複数の糸とが中程度のレベルで存在する。
2=悪い=容易に取り除くことができる緩い糸が高レベルで存在する。
1=非常に悪い=著しい構造不良、穴、容易に取り除かれる大きな緩い糸がある。
100×100mmの試料サイズで試験方法INDA IST 90.3−01を用いてハンドルオメータ(ニュージャージー州ウエストベルリンのThwing Albert製)を使用して柔軟性試験を実施し、結果は1回のみ測定した。この装置は、不織布ウェブなどのシート状材料のしなやかさ及び表面摩擦を測定する。試験は、機械方向と交差方向の両方で各試料に対して行う。試験を行う際には、幅6.4mmのスロット開口を使用することができる。ピーク負荷を捕捉し、グラム単位で記録する。
面積及び距離の測定は、反射モードで少なくとも4800dpiの解像度で走査可能なフラットベッドスキャナを使用して生成された画像で実施する(適切なスキャナはEpson Perfection V750 Pro、Epson、米国)。分析は、ImageJソフトウェア(Vs.1.43u、National Institutes of Health、米国)を使用して行い、NISTによって認定されたルーラに対して較正する。
不織布ウェブ上の「接着面積割合」は、ウェブの全表面積に対する、接着剤痕が占める面積の比であり、百分率として表され、本明細書に記載の接着面積割合の方法に従って測定される。接着面積割合を測定する方法は、米国特許第8,841,507号に記載されている(参照により本明細書に組み入れられる)。

Claims (57)
- ポリマー成分を含む連続繊維で構成される不織布ウェブであって、反復模様に配置された離間した閉じた図形を含む接着模様によって接着されており、3以上の摩耗評価と6g未満の平均HOMとを有する不織布ウェブ。
- 前記閉じた図形が丸みを帯びた図形である、請求項1に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 前記閉じた図形が円である、請求項1に記載の不織布ウェブ。
- 接着模様を構成する前記各円内の面積が、20mm2以下である場合、前記円内の面積と前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、20〜200の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
- 接着模様を構成する前記各円内の面積が、20〜100mm2である場合、前記円内の面積と前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、50〜400の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
- 接着模様を構成する前記円内の面積が、100〜1000mm2である場合、前記円内の面積と前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、100〜1000の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
- 接着模様を構成する前記各円の直径又は囲まれた領域を横切るフィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さが、5mm以下である場合、前記直径又は前記フィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さと前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、10〜50の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
- 接着模様を構成する前記各円の直径又は囲まれた領域を横切るフィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さが、5mm〜10mmである場合、前記直径又は前記フィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さと前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、10〜100の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
- 接着模様を構成する前記各円の直径又は囲まれた領域を横切るフィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さが、10mm〜15mmである場合、前記直径又は前記フィラメント若しくは繊維の最大可能長さと前記円を形成する接着線の幅との比が、10〜150の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の不織布。
