Claims (15)

前記第2の群および前記第1の群が互いに撚り合わされ、前記シースフィラメントが前記コアフィラメントの前記螺線の同じ方向において扁平な螺線を形成しており、前記シースフィラメントがコード撚りピッチを有し、
前記スチールコードの全ての断面において、互いに隣り合う2本のコアフィラメント間に少なくとも1つの隙間が存在する
ことを特徴とする、ゴム補強のためのスチールコード。 - 前記隙間が、前記互いに隣り合う2本のコアフィラメント間の最短距離Lで測定され、Lが0mmより大きく、かつ、0.1mmより小さいまたは0.1mmに等しい
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記Lが、0.005mm<L≦0.08mmを満たす
ことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記隙間の数がm−1である
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記mが3であるとき前記nが2〜7であり、または、前記mが4であるとき前記nが2〜8である
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記コード撚りピッチが8〜20mmである
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記コアフィラメントが、前記シースフィラメントと撚り合わされる前に予備形成される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記コアフィラメントが略平行に配置され、断面において、左のコアフィラメントの中心点と右のコアフィラメントの中心点との間に直線を引くとき、残りの各コアフィラメントの中心点と前記直線との間の最短距離が前記コアフィラメントの直径の0.5倍より小さいことを意味する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 残りのコアフィラメントに対する前記コアフィラメントのうちの1本からの少なくとも1つの交差が、前記スチールコードの長さに沿って存在し、前記交差の数が、100の前記コード撚りピッチ内で20より少ない
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコード。 - 前記交差の数が、100の前記コード撚りピッチ内で10より少ない、または、さらには5より少ない
ことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のスチールコード。 - i)コアフィラメントの第1の群およびシースフィラメントの第2の群を提供するステップと、
ii)前記第1の群に撚りを与えるステップと、
iii)前記第1の群に対する前記撚りと反対の撚り方向に、前記第2の群を前記第1の群と撚り合わせ、それによって、略円形の断面を有するm+nスチールストランドを形成するステップであって、前記コアフィラメントが互いに撚り合わされない、または、300mmより大きい撚りピッチを有する、かつ、前記シースフィラメントがコード撚りピッチを有する、ステップと、
iv)前記スチールコードを形成するために、ローラによって前記スチールストランドを平らにするステップと
を含む、
請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコードの作製方法。 - 前記コアフィラメントがステップi)の前に予備形成される
ことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のスチールコードの作製方法。 - 前記コアフィラメントが、ステップi)とステップii)との間で均等に分離される
ことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のスチールコードの作製方法。 - タイヤを補強するための、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコードの使用。
- タイヤのベルト層が、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のスチールコードによって補強される
ことを特徴とする、タイヤ。
