Description
本出願は、2018年1月29日付韓国特許出願第10−2018−0010900号及び2018年10月19日付韓国特許出願第10−2018−0125529号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
横1,040mm、縦300,000mm、厚さ0.3mmのガラス繊維織物を設けた。そして、トルエン(Toluene)溶媒20kgにシリコーンポリマーの主鎖(Main Chain)としてSiloxanes and silicones、di−Me、vinyl group−terminated 12kg、Dimethylvinylated and trimethylated silica 4kgを添加し、難燃剤としてAluminum trihydroxide 13kgを添加した。また、色素としてTitanium dioxide 3kgをさらに添加することで、第1溶液52kgを製造した。
電気紡糸方法を利用し、PET原料で不織布の大きさが横30mm、縦30mm、厚さ0.3mmであるPETを設けた。
横270mm、縦270mm、厚さ0.3mmのガラス繊維織物を設けた。そして、トルエン(Toluene)溶媒10kgにフェノール樹脂5kg、Aluminum trihydroxide 5kgを添加して溶液20kgを製造した。
1.耐熱性
TA instruments社製の耐熱性試験機器(モデル:TGA Q500)に前記製造例、比較例1、比較例2の絶縁板をそれぞれ挿入し、温度範囲25〜950℃、昇温速度10℃/minで徐々に熱を印加した。そして、実時間でそれぞれの絶縁板の質量を測定し、熱分解による質量損失の量を確認した。
溶媒に塩と添加剤を混合して電解液を製造する。溶媒は、EC(炭酸エチレン、Ethylene Carbonate)、DMC(炭酸ジメチル、Dimethyl Carbonate)、EMC(炭酸エチルメチル、Ethyl Methyl Carbonate)を混合して製造し、塩としてLiPF6(リチウムヘキサフルオロホスフェート、Lithium hexafluorophosphate)、LiFSI(リチウムビス(フルオロスルホニル)イミド、Lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide)及び各種の添加剤を混合した。
本実験では、比較例1及び2の絶縁板に対して実験せず、ただ製造例の絶縁板に対してのみ実験を行った。それにより、製造例の絶縁板が火炎伝播性の性能基準を満たすのかを確認した。試験の基準はIMO RESOLUTION MSC.307(88)による。
前記製造例、比較例1、比較例2の絶縁板等を利用して二次電池を製造し、全て完全充電させる。そして、600℃を維持する加熱炉に前記二次電池等を入れ、3分から5分間加熱すると、前記二次電池等が爆発する。その後、爆発した二次電池等を常温で冷やしてから、キャップ組立体を分解して電池カンの上部角にピンホールが発生したのか否かを確認した。
Instron社製の万能材料試験機器(Universal Testing Machine、UTM、モデル3340)の上部ジグ及び下部ジグに前記製造例、比較例1、比較例2の絶縁板をそれぞれ固定させる。そして、300mm/minの速度で引っ張らせながら求められる力を測定し、この力を引張強度と評価した。さらに、このような引張強度によって延伸された長さの割合を伸び率と評価した。このような実験を2回進め、それぞれの結果の平均を演算した。

Claims (16)
- 二次電池のケースに挿入される絶縁板であって、
互いに交差する緯糸となるガラス繊維の原糸と縦糸となるガラス繊維の原糸とを含むガラス繊維織物と、
前記ガラス繊維織物の少なくとも一つの面に配置されるシリコーンゴムとを含み、
前記ガラス繊維の組成比は70から80wt%、
前記シリコーンゴムの組成比は20から30wt%である、二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記シリコーンゴムは、
前記ガラス繊維の原糸に付着される第1シリコーンゴムと、
前記ガラス繊維の原糸の間に形成されている空隙に挿入される第2シリコーンゴムとを含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記ガラス繊維の原糸は、
直交する形態に互いに交差し、
前記第2シリコーンゴムは、
直交する前記ガラス繊維の原糸の間に形成されている空隙に挿入される、請求項2に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 厚さが前記ガラス繊維の厚さと同一である、請求項2に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。
- 前記シリコーンゴムは、
前記ガラス繊維織物の少なくとも一つの面に先ず配置される第1シリコーンゴムと、
前記第1シリコーンゴム上に配置される第2シリコーンゴムとを含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記ガラス繊維織物の少なくとも一つの面に前記第1シリコーンゴムが積層され、
前記第1シリコーンゴム上に前記第2シリコーンゴムが積層される、請求項5に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記ガラス繊維織物の少なくとも一つの面に前記シリコーンゴムが積層される、請求項1に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。
- 前記ガラス繊維織物は、
円盤状に形成される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記シリコーンゴムは、
前記ガラス繊維織物の両面に全て配置される、請求項1に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記シリコーンゴムは、
シリコーンポリマー及び難燃剤を含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記シリコーンポリマーの組成比は10から20wt%、
前記難燃剤の組成比は10から15wt%である、請求項10に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記シリコーンゴムは、
色素をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。 - 前記色素の組成比は5wt%以下である、請求項12に記載の二次電池用絶縁板。
- 円筒状電池カンと、
前記円筒状電池カンの内部に収容されるゼリーロール状の電極組立体と、
前記円筒状電池カンの上部に結合されるキャップ組立体と、
前記キャップ組立体を取り付けるために前記円筒状電池カンの先端に設けられたビーディング部と、
前記円筒状電池カンを密封するためのクリンピング部と、
前記電極組立体を絶縁する絶縁板とを含んでなり、
前記絶縁板は、
互いに交差する緯糸となるガラス繊維の原糸と縦糸となるガラス繊維の原糸とを含むガラス繊維織物と、
前記ガラス繊維織物の少なくとも一つの面に配置されるシリコーンゴムとを含み、
前記ガラス繊維の組成比は70から80wt%、
前記シリコーンゴムの組成比は20から30wt%である、二次電池。 - 前記絶縁板は、
前記電極組立体と前記キャップ組立体の間に配置される上部絶縁板である、請求項14に記載の二次電池。 - 前記絶縁板は、
前記電極組立体と前記円筒状電池カンの底部の間に配置される下部絶縁板である、請求項14に記載の二次電池。
