Claims (18)
- 発光デバイスであって、
電磁放射線源に光学的に結合された複数のK2SiF6:Mn4+(KSF)蛍光体粒子と、
前記電磁放射線源に光学的に結合された複数の量子ドットと、を含んでおり、
前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットは、ポリマービーズに含まれており、前記ポリマービーズは、第1の材料を含むコアと、前記コアを取り囲んでおり、第2の材料を含むシェルとを有しており、
前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットの一方が前記ポリマービーズのコアに含まれており、前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットの他方が前記ポリマービーズのシェルに含まれている、発光デバイス。 - 前記電磁放射線源は、青色発光ダイオード(LED)である、請求項1に記載の発光デバイス。

- 前記複数の量子ドットは、緑色発光量子ドットである、請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記複数の量子ドットは、重金属を含まない量子ドットである、請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記LEDはカップ型パッケージに収容され、前記ポリマービーズは、LEDパッケージのカップのマトリックスの中に含まれる、請求項2に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記ポリマービーズは、LEDから離れたフィルムの中にある、請求項2に記載の発光デバイス。
- 白色光を発生させる方法であって、
スペクトルの青色部分の電磁放射線源を配備することと、
前記電磁放射線源に光学的に結合された複数のK2SiF6:Mn4+(KSF)粒子を供給することと、
前記電磁放射線源に光学的に結合された複数の緑色発光量子ドットを供給することと、を含んでおり、
前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットは、ポリマービーズに含まれており、前記ポリマービーズは、第1の材料を含むコアと、前記コアを取り囲んでおり、第2の材料を含むシェルとを有しており、
前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットの一方が前記ポリマービーズのコアに含まれており、前記複数のKSF蛍光体粒子及び前記複数の量子ドットの他方が前記ポリマービーズのシェルに含まれている、方法。 - 電磁放射線源は、青色発光ダイオード(LED)である、請求項10に記載の方法。
