Description
この構成において、摩擦係数は、特に低く(0.06)、コーティングされたボールの摩耗は、無視できるほどである。この実施例は、エンジンにおける使用に従うものである。
この構成において、摩擦係数は、約0.10から0.11の範囲であり、そのためDLCコーティングがないときに得られるものより低い。窒化クロムの摩耗は、無視できるほどである。耐摩耗性のオイル添加剤が窒化クロムと反応し、耐摩耗膜を形成することも見られ得る。この一連の試験は、本発明に従うものである。
この構成において、ライナーの表面状態は、DLCコーティングを使用しないライナーで定義されるように維持される。試験6のように相手がDLCであるが、摩擦係数は、顕著により高い(0.09)。ボール上のDLC堆積物が大きく(180μm)擦り減っていることも見られ得る。この構成は、本発明に従わないものである。DLCコーティングの存在に関連するライナーの粗度は、リングを表すライナーの相手の大きな摩耗をもたらしている。
この構成において、ライナーの表面状態は、DLCコーティングを使用しないライナーで定義されるように維持される。摩擦係数は、約0.11から0.12の範囲である。この値は、試験3、5、8、10及び12におけるものより若干大きい。しかしながら、215から240μmの範囲の相対的に大きい摩耗は、CrNコーティングされたボールで見られ得る。この構成は、本発明に従わないものである。DLCコーティングの存在に関連するライナーの粗度は、ライナーの相手の過剰の摩耗をもたらしている。
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関用のライナーであって、
前記ライナーが、
金属材料で作られ、0.02〜0.06μmの表面粗度Raを有する内部表面と、
前記内部表面上に形成される副層と、
前記副層上に最終層として形成されるDLCコーティングと、
を含み、
前記副層が、0.7μmから1.7μmの厚さを有し、
前記DLCコーティングが、イオンエッチング段階及び実際の堆積に相当する段階を含む真空堆積技術によって前記副層に付けられ、
前記堆積が、前記DLCコーティングを形成するために前記副層の表面に凝結する炭化水素を割ることを含むことを特徴とする、内燃機関用のライナー。 - 前記コーティングの厚さが10μm未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のライナー。
- 前記コーティングの厚さが7μm未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のライナー。
- 前記コーティングの厚さが4μm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のライナー。
- それが、低粗度を得るために研磨動作に晒されることができる金属タイプの材料で作られることを特徴とする、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載のライナー。
- 前記粗度Raの値が0.04μm未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のライナー。
