Description
透明基板(CP)は、前述した実施形態において、透明基板11に実現されることができるが、これに限定されない。指向性光制御装置(LS、CHOE、VHOE)は、前述した実施形態において、光源33、入光素子31、及び出光素子32で実現されることができるが、これに限定されない。指向性光制御装置(LS、CHOE、VHOE)は低屈折率層(LR)をさらに備えることができる。
この場合、進行光200は、拡散角(φ)を有する三角形の形状で広がりながら進行する。出射光300もまた進行光200と同じ範囲に渡って提供される。その結果、イメージセンシング領域は、三角形の内部領域になる。したがって、指紋認識装置に適用する場合、斜線の円形で表示した部分にセンシング領域(SA)を設定することができる。
Claims (18)
- 透明基板と、
前記透明基板の下に配置されて前記透明基板に向かう画面上に映像を表示する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの前記透明基板とは反対側の面に配置されたフォームパッドと、
前記フォームパッドを配置する前記表示パネルの前記面に、前記フォームパッドを間に挟んで配置された金属層と、
前記透明基板に接触する指紋を感知する指紋センサであって前記金属層に形成された第1ホールおよび前記フォームパッドに形成された第2ホールを介して前記表示パネルの前記面に接着される、または、前記金属層の前記第1ホールを介して前記フォームパッドの表面に接着される指紋センサと、
前記表示パネルを駆動するドライブICを備える表示装置。 - 前記指紋センサの下に配置された非透明フィルムをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記指紋センサは、前記透明基板と前記表示パネルを挟んで前記指紋の接触面の反対側に位置するように、前記表示パネル上に配置される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記指紋センサが超音波指紋センサと光学式指紋センサの内、いずれか1つを含む、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記金属層の前記第1ホールは、前記フォームパッドを露出し、
前記指紋センサは、前記第1ホール内で前記フォームパッドの前記表面に接着される、請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記非透明フィルムが、前記指紋センサの下で、前記第1ホールを覆う、請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記フォームパッドは前記表示パネルの下に配置され、
前記金属層は前記フォームパッドの下に配置され、
前記フォームパッドの前記第1ホールと前記金属層の前記第2ホールは、前記表示パネルを露出し、
前記指紋センサは、前記第1および第2ホール内で前記表示パネルの前記面に接着される、請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記非透明フィルムが、前記指紋センサの下で、前記第1および第2ホールを覆う、請求項7に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルの一端部に配置された入光素子と、
前記表示パネルの表示領域に配置された出光素子と、
前記入光素子と対向するように配置され、前記入光素子に光を照射する光源をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記入光素子と前記出光素子のそれぞれがホログラフィ・パターンを含む、請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 有機薄膜フィルム上に配置され、発光素子をそれぞれ含む複数のピクセルが配置されたピクセルアレイと、
前記ピクセルアレイ上に配置されたタッチセンサアレイと、
前記タッチセンサアレイ上に配置された偏光フィルムと、
前記有機薄膜フィルムの下に配置されたバックプレートを備える、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記指紋センサが実装された第1フレキシブル基板と、
前記ドライブICが実装された第2フレキシブル基板をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の表示装置。 - マンドレルをさらに備え、
前記有機薄膜フィルムの一端が曲げられ、前記第2フレキシブル基板に接続され、
前記マンドレルが前記有機薄膜フィルムの曲げ部を支持する、請求項12に記載の表示装置。 - 前記指紋センサの前記表示パネルの画面内に配置される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記指紋センサの受光部の前に配置されたレンズをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネル、前記指紋センサ、及び前記ドライブICを収容し側壁が前記透明基板に接着されるフレームをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記指紋センサが接着剤で前記表示パネルの前記面に接着される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記接着剤が透明でない、請求項17に記載の表示装置。
