Description
まず、図1(A)および(B)には、本発明の一実施の形態に係る映像投射装置を搭載した自車両10の一例として乗用車が示されており、これらの図に示すように、当該自車両(乗用車)10の本体の前方には、左右一対のヘッドライト11が設けられている。そして図1(A)の例では、ここではその詳細な図示はしないが、これら一対のヘッドライト11の内部には発光体であるランプが組み込まれている。また図1(A)の例では、自車両(乗用車)10には以下に詳述する映像投射装置が左右一対となって搭載されている。そして、当該映像投射装置からの映像光は、例えば透明な窓部を介して自車両(乗用車)の前方に投射される。なお、この例では、路面等に投射される映像は自車両(乗用車)の近傍を歩行している歩行者等に対して現在あるいは、その後の進行方向を示しており、これにより安全性をより高く確保するものである。
続いて、図3には、上述した乗用車10内に搭載された電子制御ユニット(配光制御ECU)の構成の一例が示されている。この図からも明らかなように、当該配光制御ECU40は、CPU(中央演算装置)41、記憶手段であるRAM42やROM43、更には、入出力装置(I/Oユニット)44を備えている。そして、当該配光制御ECUには、上記I/Oユニット44を介して、以下の各種情報取得部や通信部からの情報が入力され、上記のヘッドライト11の駆動や映像投射装置500の映像投射を制御している。
続いて、上記図4に示した投映器100、投映信号出力部110および制御部120を含む映像投射装置500の更に詳細な構成の一例について、以下に、図5を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
以下には、上記映像投射装置500を、路面状態情報をより正確に入手するための構成及びその機能について説明するが、それに先立ち、まず、その原理について説明する。
続いて、上記映像投射装置500を、自車両10の近傍に存在するが死角に隠れた他の車両を検出することを可能にする例について、以下に説明する。
Claims (7)
- 路面上に映像を投射可能な映像投射部を備える車両であって、
車両に関する情報を取得する取得部と、
前記取得部が取得した情報に基づいて路面上に映像を表示するための映像表示用投射光を少なくとも前記車両の前方方向に投射可能であり、さらに路面に関する情報または他の車両に関する情報を取得するためのセンシング用投射光を少なくとも前記車両の前方方向に投射可能である映像投射部と、
前記車両の外部を撮像する撮像部と、
を備え、
前記撮像部が、投射された前記センシング用投射光に基づく撮像を行い、該撮像の結果により得られる路面または他の車両に関する情報に基づいて、前記映像表示用投射光による前記路面上の映像表示を変化させる、車両。 - 請求項1に記載の車両であって、
前記映像投射部からは前記センシング用投射光として1.4μmの波長を中心とする波長帯の光を投射し、かつ前記撮像部は、1.4μmの波長を中心とする波長帯の光に基づいて撮像する、車両。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両であって、
制御部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記車両のハンドル操舵角に関する情報を取得し、当該情報に基づいて前記映像表示用投射光による前記路面上の映像表示の内容を変化させるように前記映像投射部を制御する、車両。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の車両であって、
前記映像投射部は複数のプロジェクタが含まれる、車両。 - 請求項4に記載の車両であって、
前記複数のプロジェクタに含まれる2台のプロジェクタのそれぞれが、前記車両の前方左の位置と前方右の位置に配置されている、車両。 - 請求項5に記載の車両であって、
前記車両の前方の左右に1台ずつ配置されているプロジェクタのそれぞれは、前記車両の左右のヘッドライトのぞれぞれの近傍に配置されている、車両。 - 請求項4に記載の車両であって、
前記複数のプロジェクタに含まれる少なくとも1台のプロジェクタは、前記車両の後方に映像を投射するように配置されている、車両。
