Description
このような上限値の緩慢な切り替えにより、ゲート乗越しモード[S_MODEST=2]においてエンジン回転数NEが上限値NErev2近傍にある状態で通常モード [S_MODEST=0]へ遷移しても、エンジン駆動力の急激な変化が防止され、駆動輪の路面グリップが維持されやすくなる。
Claims (10)
- 車両発進時のエンジン回転数の上限値を車両状態に応じて変更する鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置において、
スタートモードスイッチ(28)と、
前記スタートモードスイッチがオン操作されたことを要件の一つとして発進制御を開始する発進制御手段(25)と、
前記発進制御においてエンジン回転数が上限値を超えないようにエンジン点火を制限する点火制御手段(26)とを具備し、
前記発進制御手段(25)は、
発進制御においてエンジン回転数の上限値を非発進制御における上限値(NErev0)よりも低い第1上限値(NErev1)に制限する第1動作モード(S_MODEST=1)と、
発進制御においてエンジン回転数の上限値を前記第1上限値よりも低い第2上限値(NErev2)に制限する第2動作モード(S_MODEST=2)とを具備し、
発進制御が開始されると第1動作モードで動作し、第1動作モードにおいてスロットル開度が所定開度を超えた以降の経過時間が所定の待機時間に達すると第2動作モードで動作し、第2動作モードの期間が所定の制御期間に達すると発進制御を終了することを特徴とする鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。 - 前記発進制御が終了した以降は、エンジン回転数が前記非発進制御における上限値を超えないようにエンジン点火および燃料噴射量を制限することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記発進制御手段は、ギヤポジションが2速以下であることを更に要件として発進制御を開始することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記発進制御手段は、発進制御中にギヤポジションが3速以上であることが検知されると発進制御を終了することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記点火制御手段は、各動作モードにおいてエンジン回転数が上限値を超えるとエンジン点火を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記発進制御手段は、発進制御中にスロットル開度が所定の閾値を下回ると発進制御を終了することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記スタートモードスイッチが、鞍乗型車両のバーハンドル(31)のハンドルグリップ(32)近傍に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記エンジン回転数の第1および第2上限値は、エンジンの出力特性がピークを示す回転数よりも高い回転数であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記第1上限値は、エンジンの出力特性を、鞍乗型車両の駆動輪が不整路面上でトラクションを失わない範囲内に制限できる値であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
- 前記第2上限値は、エンジンの出力特性を、鞍乗型車両の駆動輪がスターティングゲートを乗り越える際にトラクションを失わない範囲内に制限できる値であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の発進制御装置。
