Description
本発明は、機械的物性が改善された複合材及びこれを含有する成形品に関する。
熱可塑性樹脂と、
多重壁カーボンナノチューブと、
補強材と、を含む樹脂組成物を加工して得られる複合材であって、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブの平均直径が10nm以上であり、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブの壁を構成するグラフェンが10層以上であり、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブのId/Ig比率が1以下の値を有し、
前記複合材内に残存するカーボンナノチューブ(CNT)は、下記の数式1で表示される長さ残存率が40%以上の値を有する複合材を提供する:

下記実施例及び比較例で用いられた各成分及び添加剤は次の通りである。
(a)ポリアミド樹脂
株式会社LG化学のLUMID GP−1000Bを用いた。
(b)カーボンナノチューブ
下記表1に記載の多様なID/IG比率、平均長さ、平均直径及びグラフェン面の層数を有する多重壁カーボンナノチューブを用いた。
下記表1に記載の含量のカーボンナノチューブ及びガラス繊維を、その合計量が100重量%となる含量のポリアミド樹脂と共に混合した。得られた混合物を温度プロファイルを280℃まで上げながら、二軸押出機(L/D=42、Φ=40mm)で押出し、0.2mm×0.3mm×0.4mmのサイズを有するペレットを製造した。
前記実施例1から6及び比較例1から5で得られた試片をASTM D638規格によって3.2mm厚を有する試片の引張強度及び引張弾性率を評価した。
PINION社製のSRM−100を用いて、前記実施例1から6及び比較例1から5で得られた試片をASTM D257によって試片の表面抵抗を測定した。
前記残存平均長さは、前記ペレットをクロロホルムに分散させて0.1g/lの濃度の分散液を得た後、これを通じて得られたTEM(Libra 120、Carl Zeiss Gmbh, Germany)イメージをSCANDIUM 5.1(Olympus Soft Imaging Solutions GmbH)で分析した。
下記表2に記載の含量のカーボンナノチューブ、ガラス繊維及びカーボンブラックを、その合計量が100重量%となる含量のポリアミド樹脂と共に混合したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様な工程を行って試片を製作し、同様な方法で物性を測定した結果を下記表2に示した。
Claims (16)
- 熱可塑性樹脂と、
多重壁カーボンナノチューブと、
平板状のガラス繊維である補強材と、を含む樹脂組成物を加工して得られる複合材であって、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブの平均直径が10nm〜30nmであり、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブの壁を構成するグラフェンが10層〜50層であり、
前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブのId/Ig比率が1以下であり、
前記複合材内に残存するカーボンナノチューブは、下記の数式1で定義される長さ残存率が40%以上75%以下の値を有し、
前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対して、前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブの含量が0.1〜10重量部であり、
前記補強材の含量が、前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部を基準として0.1〜50重量部である複合材。

長さ残存率(%)=(複合材内に残存するカーボンナノチューブのうち、長さが500nm以上であるカーボンナノチューブの含量)/(複合材内のカーボンナノチューブの含量)×100 - 前記Id/Igが0.01〜0.7の値を有する、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材の引張強度が83MPa以上である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材の引張弾性率が3.3GPa以上である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材の表面固有抵抗が1.0×109Ω/sq.以下である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブが束状である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記多重壁カーボンナノチューブが非バンドル状である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材内に残存する多重壁カーボンナノチューブの平均長さが0.5μm〜50μmである、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記補強材が纎維状構造を有する、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 炭素系伝導性添加剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記炭素系伝導性添加剤が、カーボンブラック、グラフェン、フラーレン及びカーボンナノファイバーのうち一つ以上である、請求項10に記載の複合材。
- 前記炭素系伝導性添加剤の含量が、前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部を基準として0.1〜30重量部である、請求項10に記載の複合材。
- 前記加工の工程が押出工程である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 請求項1から13のうちいずれか一項に記載の複合材を加工して得られる成形品。
- 前記加工の工程が、押出工程、射出工程、またはこれらの組み合わせ工程である、請求項14に記載の成形品。
- 帯電遮蔽体、電気/電子製品のハウジングまたは電気/電子部品である、請求項14に記載の成形品。
