Abstract
【解決手段】弾性繊維用処理剤は、下記の式で示される高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン及び平滑剤を含む。
Description
前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン、及び前記平滑剤の含有割合の合計を100質量部とした場合、前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンを0.01〜20質量部、及び前記平滑剤を80〜99.99質量部の割合で含有することが好ましい。
更に帯電防止剤及び膠着防止剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含むことが好ましい。
上記課題を解決する弾性繊維は、上記弾性繊維処理剤が付着している。
本発明の処理剤に使用する高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンは、下記の化4で示される化合物である。
(平滑剤)
本発明の処理剤に供する平滑剤は、公知のものを用いることができ、その種類に制限はないが、例えば鉱物油、ポリαオレフィン、エステル、化4で示される高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン以外のシリコーンから選ばれる1種又は2種以上を含有するものが挙げられるが、なかでも平滑剤(合計100質量部)のうちの10〜90質量部が化4で示される高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン以外のシリコーンであり、残りの10〜90質量部が鉱物油、エステル、ポリαオレフィンから選ばれる1種又は2種以上であるものが好ましい。
(帯電防止剤)
本発明の処理剤には制電性を強化する目的で用いられる帯電防止剤が含有されていてもよい。帯電防止剤はイオン性の剤が挙げられるが、なかでもリン酸エステル、リン酸エステルの金属塩、リン酸エステルのアミン塩、スルホン酸の金属塩、スルホン酸のオニウム塩、ジメチル硫酸4級化物及びジエチル硫酸4級化物が好ましい。リン酸エステル、リン酸エステルの金属塩、リン酸エステルのアミン塩としては、例えば、有機アルコール及び有機アルコール1モルに対し炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキシドを1〜10モルの割合で付加させた化合物から選ばれる少なくとも一つと、五酸化二リン又はオキシハロゲン化リンとを反応させて得られるリン酸エステル、リン酸エステルの金属塩、リン酸エステルのアミン塩である。具体的には、以下の化合物から選ばれる少なくとも一つが挙げられる。
(7)ポリオキシエチレン2モル付加ドデシルエーテルリン酸エステルナトリウム塩、ポリオキシエチレン4モル付加デシルエーテルリン酸エステルナトリウム塩、ポリオキシエチレン2モル付加ドデシルエーテルリン酸エステルカリウム塩、ポリオキシエチレン4モル付加デシルエーテルリン酸エステルカリウム塩等の直鎖アルコール1モルに対し炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキサイドを1〜10モルの割合で付加させたものを原料としたリン酸エステルのアルカリ金属塩。
本発明には解舒性を強化する目的で用いられる膠着防止剤が含有されていてもよい。膠着防止剤としては、例えば、タルク、ハイドロタルサイト、シリカ、シリコーンレジン、固体パラフィンワックス、メチレンビスステアリルアミド、エチレンビスステアリルアミド、ウレタンワックス、モンタン酸ワックス、高級脂肪酸金属塩等が挙げられるが、なかでもシリコーンレジン、高級脂肪酸金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、GPCによる重量平均分子量が3000〜100000のシリコーンレジン及び炭素数10〜22の脂肪酸のアルカリ土類金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が更に好ましい。

シリコーンレジンに関しては、MQシリコーンレジン、MDQシリコーンレジン、Tシリコーンレジン及びMTQシリコーンレジンから選ばれる少なくとも一つであることが好ましく、M/Q比が0.5〜1.5である場合のものが最も好ましい。炭素数10〜22の脂肪酸のアルカリ土類金属塩に関しては、ステアリン酸マグネシウムであることが好ましい。ステアリン酸マグネシウムとしては特に制限はなく、何れのメーカーの商品でも使用できるが、例えば、株式会社サンエース社製のSAK−MS−P、日油株式会社製のマグネシウムステアレートG、日油株式会社製のマグネシウムステアレートGF−200、日油株式会社製のマグネシウムステアレートGR、日油株式会社製の工マグネシウムステアレート、日油株式会社製の日局ステアリン酸マグネシウム、日東化成工業株式会社製のMg−St、日東化成工業株式会社製のMg−LF、株式会社サンエース社製のSAK−MS−P/USP等の製品が挙げられる。
本発明の処理剤における上記の高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンの含有割合に特に制限は無いが、処理剤全体を100質量部とした場合に、当該処理剤全体中に占める上記の高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンの含有割合が0.01〜20質量部であることが好ましい。
本発明の処理剤には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲内にて、必要に応じその他の成分を併用することもできる。かかるその他の成分としては、アミノ変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリエーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、カルボキシ変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、エポキシ変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、メルカプト変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、アルキル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン等の変性シリコーンオイル(化4で示される高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン以外のシリコーンであって、平滑剤として使用されないシリコーン)、非イオン性界面活性剤や高級アルコールに代表されるつなぎ剤、濡れ性向上剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、防腐剤等、繊維処理剤として公知の成分が挙げられる。
本発明の処理剤の調製それ自体には、公知の方法を適用できる。
次に、本発明に係る弾性繊維(以下、本発明の弾性繊維という)について説明する。本発明の弾性繊維は、本発明の処理剤が付着している弾性繊維である。弾性繊維に対する本発明の処理剤の付着量については特に制限はないが、0.1〜10質量%の割合で付着していることが好ましい。

試験区分2(合成繊維の製造)
分子量2900のテトラメチレンエーテルグリコール、ビス−(p−イソシアネートフェニル)−メタンおよびエチレンジアミンからなるポリウレタンのN,N−ジメチルアセトアミド溶液(35質量%)を重合しポリマー溶液(A)とした。
こうして得られた紡糸原液を用いて、公知のスパンデックスで用いられる乾式紡糸方法により、44dtex/3filのマルチフィラメントのポリウレタン系弾性繊維を紡糸して、巻き取り前の延伸ローラーと延伸ローラーとの間に位置する給油ローラーから、実施例1〜15、比較例1〜4に示す処理剤をニートの状態でローラー給油した。かくしてローラー給油したものを、巻き取り速度が600m/分で、長さ58mmの円筒状紙管に、巻き幅38mmを与えるトラバースガイドを介して、サーフェイスドライブの巻取機を用いて巻き取り、乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージ500gを得た。ポリウレタン系弾性繊維用処理剤の付着量の調節は、給油ローラーの回転数を調整することで何れも5質量%となるように行なった。こうして得られた乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージを用いて下記の測定及び評価に供し、結果を表2にまとめて示した。
・綾落ち
上記で得られた紡糸直後の乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維パッケージ(500g巻き)を送り出し20m/分、巻き取り40m/分で1000m巻き取った場合のパッケージの綾落ちによる断糸の回数を次の基準で評価した。
○:綾落ちによる断糸が1回以上3回未満
×:綾落ちによる断糸が3回以上
・摩擦変動
摩擦測定メーター(エイコー測器社製、SAMPLE FRICTION UNIT MODEL TB−1)を用い、二つのフリーローラー間に直径1cmで表面粗度2Sのクロムメッキ梨地ピンを配置し、このクロムメッキ梨地ピンに対し、前記のパッケージ(500g巻き)から引き出したポリウレタン系弾性繊維の接触角度が90度となるようにした。25℃で60%RHの条件下、入側で初期張力(T1)5gをかけ、100m/分の速度で走行させたときの出側の2次張力(T2)を0.1秒毎に1分間測定した。この時のT2の標準偏差を求め、次の基準で評価した。

片側に第1駆動ローラーとこれに常時接する第1遊離ローラーとで送り出し部を構成し、また反対側に第2駆動ローラーとこれに常時接する第2遊離ローラーとで巻き取り部を構成して、該送り出し部に対し該巻き取り部を水平方向で20cm離して設置した。第1駆動ローラーに上記で得られた紡糸直後の乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージを装着し、糸巻の厚さが2mmになるまで解舒して、第2駆動ローラーに巻き取った。第1駆動ローラーからのポリウレタン系弾性繊維の送り出し速度を50m/分で固定する一方、第2駆動ローラーへのポリウレタン系弾性繊維の巻き取り速度を50m/分より徐々に上げて、ポリウレタン系弾性繊維をパッケージから強制解舒した。この強制解舒時において、送り出し部分と巻き取り部分との間でポリウレタン系弾性繊維の踊りがなくなる時点での巻き取り速度V(m/分)を測定し、下記の式(1)から解舒性(%)を求め、次の基準で評価した。
○:解舒性が120%以上180%未満(糸の引き出しにやや抵抗があるものの、糸切れの発生は無く、安定に解舒できる)
×:解舒性が180%以上(糸の引き出しに抵抗があり、糸切れもあって、操業に問題がある)
二つのフリーローラー間に直径1cmで表面粗度2Sのクロムメッキ梨地ピンを配置し、このクロムメッキ梨地ピンに対し、前記の糸パッケージから引き出したポリウレタン系弾性繊維の接触角度が90度となるようにした。このクロムメッキ梨地ピンの下部1cmの位置に静電電位測定器(春日電機社製、KSD−0103)を配置し、25℃で60%RHの条件下、50m/分の速度で送り出し、100m/分の速度で巻き取った場合の発生電気を測定して、次の基準で評価した。
○:発生電気が100ボルト以上500ボルト未満(整経工程で多少の糸の寄りつきが起こるが安定に操業できる)
×:発生電気が500ボルト以上(整経工程で糸の寄りつきが起こり、操業に問題が起きる)
以上、表2の結果からも明らかなように、本発明によれば、弾性繊維に優れた制電性と解舒性を付与し、加工時の摩擦変動と綾落ちが同時に抑えられるという効果がある。
Claims (11)
- 下記の化1で示される高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン及び平滑剤を含むことを特徴とする弾性繊維用処理剤。
X1,X2,X3:化2で示される有機基、化3で示される有機基又はメチル基。但しX1,X2,X3の内、少なくとも一つは化2で示される有機基又は化3で示される有機基。
n,m:0〜1000の整数。但し、n,mの少なくとも一つは1以上の整数であり、n,mの結合単位はランダムでもブロックでもよく、結合順序は問わない。)
R1:炭素数1〜20の脂肪族炭化水素基。
R2:炭素数5〜19の脂肪族炭化水素基。)
R3:炭素数5〜19の脂肪族炭化水素基。
R4:炭素数1〜20の脂肪族炭化水素基。) - 前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンは、化1中のX1が化2で示される有機基又は化3で示される有機基であり、X2が化2で示される有機基又は化3で示される有機基であって、X3がメチル基である高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンである請求項1に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 化2中のR1が炭素数1〜4の脂肪族炭化水素基であり、化3中のR4が炭素数1〜4の脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項1又は2に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン、及び前記平滑剤の含有割合の合計を100質量部とした場合、前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンを0.01〜20質量部、及び前記平滑剤を80〜99.99質量部の割合で含有する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンの25℃における動粘度が、5〜10000mm2/sである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 更に帯電防止剤及び膠着防止剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記帯電防止剤が、リン酸エステル、リン酸エステルの金属塩、リン酸エステルのアミン塩、スルホン酸の金属塩、スルホン酸のオニウム塩、ジメチル硫酸4級化物及びジエチル硫酸4級化物から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む請求項6に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記膠着防止剤が、重量平均分子量が3000〜100000のシリコーンレジン及び炭素数10〜22の脂肪酸のアルカリ土類金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む請求項6に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーン、前記平滑剤、並びに前記帯電防止剤及び前記膠着防止剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つの含有割合の合計を100質量部とした場合、前記高級脂肪酸エステル変性シリコーンを0.01〜20質量部、前記平滑剤を70〜99.98質量部、並びに前記帯電防止剤及び前記膠着防止剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つを0.01〜10質量部の割合で含有する請求項6〜8のいずれか一項記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記弾性繊維用処理剤の25℃における動粘度が、2〜100mm2/sである請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤が付着していることを特徴とする弾性繊維。
