Description
また、前記のような寄生キャパシタンス成分以外にも、タッチスクリーン動作に影響を及ぼす要因として、理想的でない環境で存在する多様なノイズがある。一例として、空気中には電磁波がノイズとして作用し、また皮膚に蓄積されているノイズ(skin accumulated noise)及びタッチスクリーンシステム自体からもノイズ(noise from system)が発生する。これらのノイズは、タッチスクリーン装置のセンシング感度を低下させるという問題がある。

第1センシングラインを含む多数のセンシングラインに連結され、前記第1センシングライン上に第1信号を駆動し、前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに第2信号を供給するタッチデータ発生器と、

さらに、本発明のディスプレイパネルのセンシングラインで寄生キャパシタンスの影響を減少させる方法は、
「 ディスプレイパネルのセンシングラインで寄生キャパシタンスの影響を減少させる方法において、
タッチデータ発生器によって、第1センシングラインの電気的変化を検出するために多数のセンシングラインのうち、第1センシングライン上に第1信号を駆動する段階と、
前記タッチデータ発生器によって、前記第1信号が、前記第1センシングラインに提供される間、前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに第2信号を提供する段階と、を備え、
前記第1信号の電圧及び前記第2信号の電圧は、実質的に同一であることを特徴とする方法。」を要旨とする。
また、本発明のディスプレイパネルのセンシングラインで寄生キャパシタンスの影響を減少させる方法は、
「 ディスプレイパネルのセンシングラインで寄生キャパシタンスの影響を減少させる方法において、
タッチデータ発生器によって、第1センシングラインの電気的変化を検出するために多数のセンシングラインのうち、第1センシングライン上に第1信号を駆動する段階と、
前記タッチデータ発生器によって、前記第1信号が前記第1センシングラインに提供される間、前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに第2信号を提供する段階と、を備え、
前記第1信号と前記第2信号は、互いに同一であることを特徴とする方法。」
を要旨とする。
一方、本発明の一構成によるディスプレイ駆動回路は、ディスプレイパネルを駆動するための少なくとも一つのタイミング情報を発生させるタイミングコントローラを備えるディスプレイパネル駆動回路部と、タッチスクリーンパネル上のタッチ動作を感知するために配され、前記タッチスクリーンパネルに備えられるセンシングユニットのキャパシタンス変化をセンシングしてセンシング信号を発生させ、前記センシング信号を処理するタッチコントローラ部と、を備え、前記タッチコントローラ部は、センシングラインを通じて前記センシングユニットのキャパシタンス変化をセンシングしてセンシング信号を発生させ、前記センシング信号を処理してタッチデータを発生させるタッチデータ発生部と、前記タイミングコントローラから前記タイミング情報を受信し、前記受信したタイミング情報及び前記タイミング情報に応答して発生させた信号のうちいずれか一つを、制御信号として前記タッチデータ発生部に提供して、前記タッチデータの発生タイミングを制御する信号プロセッサーとを備えることを特徴とする。

- タッチコントローラにおいて、
第1センシングラインを含む多数のセンシングラインに連結され、前記第1センシングライン上に第1信号を駆動し、前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに第2信号を供給するタッチデータ発生器と、
前記タッチデータ発生器に連結され、前記タッチコントローラの全般的な動作を制御する信号プロセッサーとを備え、
前記第1信号の電圧と前記第2信号の電圧は、実質的に同一であり、
第2キャパシタの第1電極がセンシング電極に連結され、前記第2キャパシタには、垂直寄生キャパシタンスと逆極性を有するように、電荷が誘起され、前記第2キャパシタの第2電極に印加される電圧信号は、入力信号に同期される
ことを特徴とするタッチコントローラ。 - 前記タッチデータ発生器は、前記第1センシングラインに連結される第1増幅入力端子と、増幅器入力信号を受信する第2入力端子とを含む第1増幅器を含み、
前記第1信号は、前記第1増幅器を通じて、前記第1センシングライン上に駆動される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記第1増幅器は、前記増幅器入力信号に応答して前記第1センシングライン上に前記第1信号を駆動し、

ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記タッチデータ発生器は、前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに連結される第2増幅器をさらに備える
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記第1増幅器は、第1スィッチを通じて前記第1センシングラインに連結され、第2スィッチを通じて前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに連結される
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記第1信号は、前記第1増幅器に提供される前記増幅器入力信号に応答して前記第1増幅器を通じて前記第1センシングライン上に駆動され、

ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記第1信号、前記第2信号、及び前記増幅器入力信号は、同一である

ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のタッチコントローラ。 - 前記第1増幅器は、前記増幅器入力信号が前記多数のセンシングラインのうち、少なくとも1つに供給される間に、前記第1増幅入力端子を通じて前記第1信号を前記第1センシングライン上に駆動する
