Description
上記の構成によれば、透明加飾層に入射した光の一部は、突条部の頂面(微小凸凹部)よりも深い箇所に位置する溝部の底面に当たって反射される。この底面での光の反射態様(方向等)は、突条部の頂面における微小突条部及び微小溝部での光の反射態様(方向等)とは大きく異なる。従って、頂面及び底面による各模様の陰影差が一層はっきり出て、両模様の立体感が一層際立たせられる。
隣り合う突条部間で、上記のように微小突条部の延びる方向が互いに異なることで、所定の突条部における微小突条部(微小溝部)での光の反射態様と、その隣の突条部における微小突条部(微小溝部)での光の反射態様とが異なる。頂面及び底面による各模様の陰影差がより一層はっきり出る。
頂面及び底面による各模様が、加飾フィルムの表面から奥まった箇所に見えるようにする効果は、上記のように不透明基材が黒色に着色されている場合に、他の暗色に着色されている場合よりも大きい。
図1に示すように、本実施形態の加飾フィルム10は、自動車のコンソールアッパパネル、センタークラスターパネル等の内装品を加飾するためのものであり、それらの内装品の表層部分として用いられる。
図1及び図2(a)に示すように、凸凹部12は、複数の突条部13と複数の溝部21とによって構成されている。複数の突条部13は、互いに離間した状態で同一傾向の方向へ延びている。各溝部21は、隣り合う突条部13の間に位置し、突条部13と同一傾向の方向へ延びている。突条部13の頂面14と溝部21の底面23との高低差は、平均で60μmである。
各溝部21の底面23は、従来の加飾フィルム50における凸凹部52の底面56(図5参照)と同様に平らに形成されている。これに対し、図1、図2(a)及び図3(a)に示すように、各突条部13の頂面14には微小凸凹部16が形成されている。この微小凸凹部16により、各突条部13の頂面14は、従来の加飾フィルム50における凸凹部52の頂面54(図5参照)とは異なり、凸凹状をなしている。
加飾フィルム10の表側から透明加飾層31に光が入射すると、その光の一部は、突条部13の頂面14で反射され、他の一部は、上記頂面14よりも深い箇所に位置する溝部21の底面23で反射される。
(1)複数の突条部13と複数の溝部21とによって構成された凸凹部12を有する暗色の不透明基材11の表側に透明加飾層31を積層してなる加飾フィルム10にあって、各突条部13の頂面14に微小凸凹部16を形成する。各微小凸凹部16を、互いに同一傾向の方向へ延び、かつ突条部13及び溝部21のいずれよりも狭い幅を有する複数の微小突条部17と、隣り合う微小突条部17の間に位置し、微小突条部17と同一傾向の方向へ延び、かつ突条部13及び溝部21のいずれよりも狭い幅を有する複数の微小溝部18とにより構成している(図1)。
そのため、頂面14及び底面23による各模様の陰影差を一層はっきり出させて、両模様の立体感を一層際立たせることができる。
そのため、微小突条部17での光の反射態様(方向等)を、隣り合う突条部13間で変えることができ、頂面14及び底面23による各模様の陰影差を一層はっきり出させて、立体感をさらに際立たせることができる。
そのため、頂面14及び底面23による各模様を加飾フィルム10の表面から採り得る最も奥まった箇所に見えるようにすることができる。
<不透明基材11について>
・不透明基材11として、黒色とは異なる暗色、例えば、濃灰色、濃紺色等に着色されたものが用いられてもよい。
・突条部13の幅と溝部21の幅とが大きく異なっていてもよい。
・突条部13の幅及び高さは、必ずしもその突条部13の全長にわたって同一でなくてもよく、一定の傾向をもって異なっていてもよい。突条部13の幅及び高さは、例えば、突条部13の長さ方向に沿って漸増又は漸減してもよい。
・同一の突条部13における頂面14に、複数の微小凸凹部16が設けられてもよい。図4は、特定(左から3つ目)の突条部13の頂面14に、2つの微小凸凹部16が隣接した状態で設けられた例を示している。この場合、微小凸凹部16とその隣の微小凸凹部16とでは、微小突条部17(微小溝部18)が互いに異なる方向へ延びるようにすることが望ましい。図4では、一方の微小凸凹部16における微小突条部17(微小溝部18)と、隣の微小凸凹部16における微小突条部17(微小溝部18)とが仮想線L1を挟んで略線対称の関係を有している。
<適用分野について>
・加飾フィルム10は、自動車の内装品に限らず外装品を加飾するために用いられてもよい。
Claims (5)
- 表面に凸凹部を有し、明度L*の平均値が30.5以下の不透明基材と、
前記凸凹部に密着した状態で前記不透明基材の表側に積層された透明加飾層と
を備え、
前記凸凹部は、互いに同一方向へ延びる複数の突条部と、隣り合う前記突条部の間に位置し、前記突条部と同一方向へ延びる複数の溝部とにより構成されており、
前記突条部の頂面には微小凸凹部が形成されており、
前記微小凸凹部は、互いに同一傾向の方向へ延び、かつ前記突条部及び前記溝部のいずれよりも狭い幅を有する複数の微小突条部と、隣り合う前記微小突条部の間に位置し、前記微小突条部と同一傾向の方向へ延び、かつ前記突条部及び前記溝部のいずれよりも狭い幅を有する複数の微小溝部とにより構成されており、
前記微小突条部及び前記微小溝部は、前記突条部の延びる方向に対して傾斜する方向に延びており、
隣り合う前記突条部に形成された前記微小突条部及び前記微小溝部は、突条部に沿って延びる仮想線を挟んで略線対称の関係となるように形成されている加飾フィルム。 - 前記溝部の底面は平らに形成されている請求項1に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 前記突条部とその隣の前記突条部とでは、前記微小突条部が互いに異なる方向へ延びている請求項1又は2に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 同一の前記突条部における前記頂面には複数の前記微小凸凹部が設けられており、
前記微小凸凹部とその隣の前記微小凸凹部とでは、前記微小突条部が互いに異なる方向へ延びている請求項1又は2に記載の加飾フィルム。 - 前記不透明基材は黒色に着色されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の加飾フィルム。
