Description
図1は、本発明の真空断熱材の一例を示す模式断面図である。図1Aに示されるように、真空断熱材1は、芯材6およびガス吸着剤7を2枚の外装材2で両面から挟むように内包する構造を有する。ここで、外装材2は、銅合金箔4およびプラスチックフィルム3、5の積層体(ラミネートフィルム)から構成される。上述したように、銅合金箔は、ガスバリア性は確保しつつ、厚みを低減できるため、外装材2を伝って周囲からの回り込む熱量を低く抑えることができる。このため、本発明に係る外装材を使用することによって、ヒートブリッジを効率よく抑制・防止できる。
外装材は、銅合金箔とプラスチックとの積層体からなる。ここで、2枚の外装材から真空断熱材が構成されるが、この2枚のうち少なくとも一方が銅合金箔とプラスチックとの積層体からなればよいが、2枚ともが銅合金箔とプラスチックとの積層体から構成されることが好ましい。前者の場合の銅合金箔とプラスチックとの積層体でない外装材は、特に制限されないが、例えば、少なくともアルミニウム、鉄、金、銀、銅、ニッケル、SUS、錫、チタン、プラチナ、鉛、コバルト、亜鉛、炭素鋼などの金属箔および/またはそれらの少なくとも2種の合金箔やアルミニウム、ニッケル、コバルト、亜鉛、金、銀、銅、酸化珪素、アルミナ、酸化マグネシウム、酸化チタンなどの蒸着膜および/またはそれらの少なくとも2種の合金蒸着膜と、プラスチックとの積層体などが挙げられる。
本発明で使用できる芯材は、真空断熱材の骨格となり、真空空間を形成する。ここで、芯材の材質としては、特に限定されず、公知の芯材材料が使用できる。具体的には、グラスウール、ロックウール、アルミナ繊維、熱伝導率の低い金属からなる金属繊維等の無機繊維;ポリエステルやポリアミド、アクリル、ポリオレフィンなどの合成繊維や木材パルプから製造されるセルロース、コットン、麻、ウール、シルクなどの天然繊維、レーヨンなどの再生繊維、アセテートなどの半合成繊維等の有機繊維などが挙げられる。上記芯材材料は、単独で使用されてもまたは2種以上の混合物であってもよい。これらのうち、グラスウールが好ましい。これらの材料からなる芯材は、繊維自体の弾性が高く、また繊維自体の熱伝導率が低く、なおかつ工業的に安価である。
本発明で使用できるガス吸着剤は、真空断熱材の密閉空間に残存または侵入する水蒸気や空気(酸素、窒素)等のガスを吸着する。ここで、ガス吸着剤としては、特に限定されず、公知のガス吸着剤が使用できる。具体的には、酸化カルシウム(生石灰)、酸化マグネシウム等の化学吸着物質、ゼオライト等の物理吸着物質、連通ウレタン、リチウム化合物、化学吸着性及び物理吸着性を有する銅イオン交換ZSM−5型ゼオライト、モレキュラシーブ13Xなどが挙げられる。上記芯材材料は、単独で使用されてもまたは2種以上の混合物であってもよい。
電解銅箔上に銅の比率が90重量%になるようにニッケルを電解メッキにより形成し、厚み10μmの銅−ニッケル積層箔を得た。その後N2雰囲気下において800℃で60分間、熱処理することにより、銅−ニッケル合金箔1を作製した。
前記実施例1において銅−ニッケル積層箔の銅の比率を80重量%にした以外は同様にて銅−ニッケル箔2を作製した。
前記実施例2において銅−ニッケル積層箔の厚みを8μmにした以外は同様にて銅−ニッケル箔3を作製した。
前記実施例1において電解ニッケル箔上に銅の比率が55重量%になるように電解メッキした以外は同様にて銅−ニッケル箔4を作製した。
前記実施例1において電解銅箔上に銅の比率が65重量%になるように亜鉛を電解メッキした以外は同様にて銅−亜鉛箔1を作製した。
比較例1
圧延アルミニウム箔(7μm)を用いた。
厚さ12μmのポリエチレンテレフタレート上に厚さ50nmのAl蒸着膜が形成されたVM−PETを用いた。
圧延SUS箔(20μm)を用いた。
上記実施例1〜5及び比較例1〜3で作製した金属箔およびVM−PETを、下記方法に従って、水蒸気透過度(g/m2・day)を測定した。すなわち、水蒸気透過度は、ISO15106−3に準拠するAquatran(MOCON社製)を用いて、40℃の温度及び90%RHの相対湿度で測定する。結果を下記表1に示す。
上記実施例1〜5及び比較例1で作製した金属箔について、Thermowave Analyzer(日産アーク社製)を用いて、銅合金箔の面内方向の熱拡散率を測定し、各銅合金箔の比熱及び密度から、熱伝導率(W/m・K)を算出する。また、このようにして得られた銅合金箔の熱伝導率及び厚みから熱抵抗(K/W)を算出する。結果を下記表2に示す。
上記実施例1〜5及び比較例1で作製した金属箔について文献(M. Tenpierik, and H. Cauberg, Journal of Building Physics, Vol. 30, No.3-January 2007)とそれぞれの金属箔の熱伝導率及び厚みから、真空断熱材(290mm×410mm×t6mm)の中央部の熱伝導率を1mW/m・Kとした際の有効熱伝導率(すなわち真空断熱材全体の平均熱伝導率)を算出し、ヒートブリッジについて評価した。
結果を下記表2に示す。

Claims (5)
- 芯材およびガス吸着剤を一対のガスバリア性を有する外装材で両面から挟むように内包し、内部を減圧して封止してなる真空断熱材であって、前記一対のガスバリア性を有する外装材の少なくとも一方が銅合金箔とプラスチックとの積層体からなり、
前記銅合金箔が、銅箔の少なくとも一方の面に金属を積層したまたは金属箔の少なくとも一方の面に銅を積層した後、加熱処理を行う合金化工程によって製造される、真空断熱材。 - 前記銅合金箔が750K/W以上の熱抵抗(R)を有する、請求項1に記載の真空断熱材。
- 前記銅合金箔の厚みが1〜10μmである、請求項1または2に記載の真空断熱材。
- 前記銅箔が電解銅箔であるまたは前記金属箔が電解金属箔である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の真空断熱材。
- 前記銅合金箔が銅及びニッケルを含む合金箔である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の真空断熱材。
