Abstract
Description
(1)耐火原料配合物に有機バインダーを添加して混練し成形後、熱処理して得られるマグネシアカーボンれんがであって、
耐火原料配合物が、ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックを合量で0.1質量%以上2.0質量%以下、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金を合量で0.1質量%以上1.0質量%以下、粒径が0.075mm未満のマグネシアを3.0質量%以上10.0質量%以下、並びに粒径が0.075mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアを87.0質量%以上96.0質量%以下含有し、かつ粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.66以上2.34以下であり、黒鉛を含有せず、1400℃還元雰囲気下で3時間熱処理後の見掛気孔率が8.0%以下であるマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(2)耐火原料配合物において、ピッチ及びカーボンブラックを併用した(1)に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(3)耐火原料配合物において、ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックが合量で0.2質量%以上1.4質量%以下である(1)または(2)に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(4)耐火原料配合物において、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金が合量で0.1質量%以上0.7質量%以下である(1)乃至(3)のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(5)耐火原料配合物において、粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.85以上2.20以下である(1)乃至(4)のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(6)耐火原料配合物において、シリコンをアルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金との合量で0.2質量%以上1.0質量%以下使用した(1)乃至(5)のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
(7)ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックを合量で0.1質量%以上2.0質量%以下、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金を合量で0.1質量%以上1.0質量%以下、粒径が0.075mm未満のマグネシアを3質量%以上10質量%以下、並びに粒径が0.075mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアを87.0質量%以上96.0質量%以下含有し、かつ粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.66以上2.34以下であり、黒鉛を含有しない耐火原料配合物に、有機バインダーを添加して混練し成形後、熱処理する、マグネシアカーボンれんがの製造方法。

耐火原料配合物が、ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックを合量で0.1質量%以上2.0質量%以下、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金を合量で0.1質量%以上1.0質量%以下、粒径が0.075mm未満のマグネシアを3.0質量%以上10.0質量%以下、並びに粒径が0.075mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアを87.0質量%以上96.0質量%以下含有し、かつ粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.66以上2.34以下であり、黒鉛を含有せず、1400℃還元雰囲気下で3時間熱処理後の見掛気孔率が8.0%以下であるマグネシアカーボンれんが。 - 耐火原料配合物において、ピッチ及びカーボンブラックを併用した請求項1に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
- 耐火原料配合物において、ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックが合量で0.2質量%以上1.4質量%以下である請求項1または2に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
- 耐火原料配合物において、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金が合量で0.1質量%以上0.7質量%以下である請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
- 耐火原料配合物において、粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.85以上2.20以下である請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
- 耐火原料配合物において、シリコンをアルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金との合量で0.2質量%以上1.0質量%以下使用した請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のマグネシアカーボンれんが。
- ピッチ及び/又はカーボンブラックを合量で0.1質量%以上2.0質量%以下、アルミニウム及び/又はアルミニウム合金を合量で0.1質量%以上1.0質量%以下、粒径が0.075mm未満のマグネシアを3質量%以上10質量%以下、並びに粒径が0.075mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアを87.0質量%以上96.0質量%以下含有し、かつ粒径が0.075mm以上1mm未満のマグネシアに対する粒径が1mm以上5mm未満のマグネシアの質量比が1.66以上2.34以下であり、黒鉛を含有しない耐火原料配合物に、有機バインダーを添加して混練し成形後、熱処理する、マグネシアカーボンれんがの製造方法。
