Description
(a)有機溶剤、
(b)化学式が(R)SiO3/2の、少なくとも1つの三官能価構造単位を有するシリコーン樹脂、式中、Rは、少なくとも1つのRがヒドロカルビル基であるという条件において、ヒドロカルビル基及びヒドロキシル基から、三官能価構造単位で独立に、選ばれる、及び
(c)平均粒径がほぼ100nmと1000nmの間の二酸化チタン粒子、
を含む。
(a)(i)揮発性溶剤、(ii)化学式が(R)SiO3/2の、少なくとも1つの三官能価構造単位を有するシリコーン樹脂、式中、Rは、少なくとも1つのRがヒドロカルビル基であるという条件において、ヒドロカルビル基及びヒドロキシル基から三官能価構造単位で独立に、選ばれる、及び(iii)平均粒径がほぼ100nmと1000nmの間の二酸化チタン粒子、から配合されるコーティングを作製する工程、
(b)物体にコーティングを施す工程、及び
(c)コーティングが施された場所にマーキングする工程、
を含む。
(a)化学式が((R)SiO3/2)x(T構造単位)のポリシルセスキオキサン類。式中、xは100より大きく、R基は、上で定義したように、独立にメチルまたはその他の置換基とすることができる、
(b)Rがメチル基のポリシルセスキオキサン類である、ポリメチルシルセスキオキサン類。そのようなポリメチルシルセスキオキサン類は、例えば、米国特許第5246694号明細書に説明されている。上記明細書は本明細書に参照として含められる、
(c)Rがプロピル基である、ポリプロピルシルセスキオキサン類。これらの化合物及びその合成は、例えば、国際公開第2005/075567号パンフレットに説明されている。上記パンフレットは本明細書に参照として含められる。
(a)ワッカー(Wacker)社から、CH3SiO3/2反復構造単位(T構造単位)を含み、重量で1%までの(CH3)2SiO2/2構造単位(D構造単位)も含むことができ、平均分子量が約10000g/モルの、Belsil PMS MKのような、Resin MKの品名で販売されている樹脂、及び
(b)信越化学工業(株)から、化学式がCH3SiO2/2のT構造単位からなり、Si-OH(シラノール)末端基を有する、KR-220Lの品名で販売されている樹脂、98%のT構造単位及び2%のジメチルD構造単位を含み、Si-OH末端基を有する、KR-242Aの品名で販売されている樹脂、あるいは、88%のT構造単位及び12%のジメチルD構造単位を含み、Si-OH末端基を有する、KR-251の品名で販売されている樹脂、
がある。挙げられ得る市販のポリプロピルシルセスキオキサン樹脂の例には、D5内に希釈されたポリプロピルシルセスキオキサンである、ダウコーニング(Dow Corning)670液の品名でダウコーニング社から販売されている樹脂がある。
(a)エタノールまたはイソプロパノールのような、揮発性C1−C4アルカノール類、
(b)n-ペンタン、ヘキサン、シクロペンタン、2,3-ジメチルブタン、2-メチルペンタンまたは3-メチルペンタンのような、揮発性C5−C7アルカン類、
(c)酢酸メチル、酢酸n-ブチル、酢酸エチル、酢酸プロピル、酢酸イソプロピルまたはエチル3-エトキシプロピオナートのような、液体C1−C20酸と揮発性C1−C8アルコールのエステル類、
(d)メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、ジイソブチルケトン、イソホロン、シクロヘキサノンまたはアセトンのような、室温において液体であり、揮発性の、ケトン類、
(e)プロピレングリコールのような、揮発性ポリオール類、
(f)ジメトキシメタン、ジエトキシエタンまたはジエチルエーテルのような、揮発性エーテル類、
(g)2-ブトキシエタノール、ブチルジグリコール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールn-ブチルエーテルまたはプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセタートのような、揮発性グリコールエーテル類、
(h)例えば、8〜16の炭素原子を含む揮発性炭化水素ベース油類及びこれらの混合油、及び、分枝アルカン、例えば、(イソパラフィンとしても知られる)C8−C16アルカン、イソドデカン、イソデカン、及び、例えば、IsoparまたはPermethlの商品名で販売されている油類、及びこれらの混合油のような、揮発性炭化水素ベース油類。またネオペンタン酸イソヘキシル及びネオペンタン酸イソデシルも挙げることができる、
(i)ドデカフルオロペンタン、テトラデカフルオロヘキサンまたはデカフルオロペンタンのような、揮発性C4−C10ペルフルオロアルカン類、
(j)F2 Chemicals社からそれぞれ、Flutec PC1,Flutec PC3及びFlutec PC6の商品名で販売されている、ペルフルオロメチルシクロペンタン、1,3-ペルフルオロジメチルシクロヘキサン及びペルフルオロデカリンのような、ペルフルオロジメチルシクロブタン及びペルフルオロモルフォリンも含む、揮発性ペルフルオロシクロアルキル類、
(k)化学式、CH3(CH2)n[Z]t-X-CF3に相当する揮発性のフルオロアルキル化合物またはヘテロフルオロアルキル化合物。式中、tは0または1、nは1,2または3、Xは2〜5の炭素原子を含む線状または分枝状のペルフルオロアルキル基であって、ZはO,SまたはNRを表し、Rは水素原子または-(CH2)m-CH3基または-(CF2)m-CH3基であり、mは2,3,4または5である。

市販の(REA Elektronik GmbHから入手できる)REA-JET CeraprimeインクUV WS090を、32ドットプリントヘッドを備えたドロップオンデマンドREA-JETプリティングシステムを用い、コージェライトハニカムの外面スキンに0.5〜0.7バールの圧力で塗布した。平均コーティング表面積は約2インチ×2インチであった。乾燥工程または硬化工程は全く行わずに、10.6μmで動作するCO2レーザを用い、ほぼ30Wのパワー出力により700mm/秒の走査速度で2Dデータマトリックスコードをマーキングした。照射領域には暗(黒)色が発現し、照射領域と無照射領域の間に極めて良好なカラーコントラストが見られた。得られたレーザマークはコージェライト内に融着し、およその厚さは30μm未満であった。

Claims (6)
- 製品のマーキングを可能にするための組成物において、前記組成物が、
室温(20℃)及び大気圧(760mmHg(1.013×10 5 Pa))において液体であり、20℃における蒸気圧が1.0mmHg(1.333×10 2 Pa)より高い、揮発性溶剤、
化学式が(R)SiO3/2の三官能価構造単位を含むシリコーン樹脂、式中、Rは、少なくとも1つのRがヒドロカルビル基であるという条件において、三官能価構造単位で独立に、ヒドロカルビル基及びヒドロキシル基から選ばれる、及び
ほぼ100nmと1000nmの間の平均粒径を有する二酸化チタン粒子、
を含み、
前記二酸化チタン粒子が、10以下のアスペクト比を有するルチル型二酸化チタン結晶である、
ことを特徴とする組成物。 - 分散剤、加湿剤、湿潤剤、沈降防止剤、紫外線トレーサー及び界面活性剤の内の少なくとも1つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記二酸化チタン粒子がほぼ200nmと300nmの間の平均粒径を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の組成物。 - 前記二酸化チタン粒子が、二酸化チタン粒子100g当たり油30gより高い吸油価を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性溶剤が、アルカノール、エステル、ケトン、ポリオール、エーテル及びアルコールの内の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性溶剤より少量の、前記揮発性溶剤より桁ちがいに低い蒸気圧を有する揮発性溶剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の組成物。
