Description
より詳しくは、特定の物質を含むシェル部を備えた負極活物質及び特定の導電材を含むことで寿命特性が向上したリチウム二次電池用負極合剤及びこれを用いたリチウム二次電池に関する。
Si‐Sn‐Al‐Ti合金(Si:4質量%、Sn:30質量%、Al:21質量%、Ti:45質量%)、黒鉛、ケッチェンブラック、導電材、結着剤を使用して下記表1に記載の組成で負極活物質及び負極合剤を製造した。
上記実施例及び比較例に従って製造された負極合剤をN‐メチルピロリドンに添加してスラリーとして製造した後、これを銅箔に塗布し、約130℃で2時間に亘って乾燥して負極を製造した。そして、正極としては金属リチウム箔を使用し、上記負極と正極との間にポリエチレンセパレーターを介在させて電極組立体を製造した。
上記実施例及び比較例に従って製造された電池を使用して充放電特性を評価した。充電時、0.5Cの電流密度で5mVまで定電流充電後、定電圧で5mVに一定に維持させて電流密度が0.005Cになれば充電を終了した。放電時、0.5Cの電流密度で1VまでCCモードで放電を完了した。同一の条件で充放電を50回繰り返した。
Claims (4)
- リチウム二次電池用負極合剤であって、
負極活物質と、結着剤と、及び導電材とを含んでなり、
前記負極活物質が、Al、Ti、Sb、Bi、As、Ge及びPbからなる群より選択される何れか一種以上の金属と、Snと、Siとの合金で形成されたコア部と、及び、前記コア部の外部に形成された導電性カーボンブラックを含むシェル部を備えてなる複数の負極活物質粒子を含んでなり、
前記シェル部が、前記コア部の外部に対するコーティング材であり、
前記導電材が、炭素ナノ繊維を含んでなり、
前記炭素ナノ繊維の含量が、負極合剤の全体100重量部に対して0.1ないし10重量部であり、
前記負極活物質が、低結晶性炭素及び高結晶性炭素からなる群より選択される何れか一種以上の炭素材負極活物質をさらに含んでなることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池用負極合剤。 - 前記結着剤が、ビニリデンフルオライド‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、ポリビニリデンフルオライド、ポリアクリロニトリル及びポリメチルメタクリレートからなる群より選択される何れか一種又はこれらの二種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極合剤。
- リチウム二次電池用負極であって、
集電体と、及び前記集電体の少なくとも一面にあるリチウム二次電池用負極合剤とを備えてなり、
前記リチウム二次電池用負極合剤が、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極合剤であることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池用負極。 - リチウム二次電池であって、
正極と、負極と、及び前記正極と前記負極の間に介在するセパレーターとを備えてなるものであり、
前記負極が、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極であることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
