Description

発明の背景
1.発明の分野
本発明は、概して、放射線廃棄物の処理に関し、特に、原子力発電炉および他の放射線源からの廃棄水の処理に関する。
特異的放射性同位体を隔離および管理する能力は、清浄、安全、かつ確実な放射線廃棄物管理のために必要であって、これは、ひいては、原子力の安全かつ費用効果的使用に不可欠である。原子力発電所では、放射性同位体は、軽水炉の一次および二次水ループ中に漏出する。本漏出は、核燃料の崩壊ならびに原子炉構成要素の核活性化(炉心からの放射線への暴露を通して)の不可避の結果である。
本明細書は、例えば、以下の項目も提供する。

選択された放射性同位体を液体廃棄物から除去するための浸漬可能媒体フィルタであって、該浸漬可能媒体フィルタは、

内側メッシュスクリーンおよび外側メッシュスクリーンであって、該内側メッシュスクリーンおよび該外側メッシュスクリーンは、該内側フィルタ部材、該媒体、および該外側フィルタ部材を、該内側メッシュスクリーンと該外側メッシュスクリーンとの間に保持する、内側メッシュスクリーンおよび外側メッシュスクリーンと
を備える、浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。

前記媒体は、粒状材料を含む、項目1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
(項目3)
前記媒体は、ガラスベースの微小球を含む、項目1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。

前記媒体は、ハーシェル沸石、改質ハーシェル沸石、またはヒドロキシアパタイトを含む、項目1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。

前記媒体のガラス化を支援するためのガラス形成材料をさらに含む、項目1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
(項目6)
前記媒体は、同位体特異的媒体を含む、項目1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
(項目7)
前記媒体は、粒状材料を含む、項目6に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
(項目8)
前記媒体は、ガラスベースの微小球、ハーシェル沸石、改質ハーシェル沸石、またはヒドロキシアパタイトを含む、項目6に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。

前記媒体のガラス化を支援するためのガラス形成材料をさらに含む、項目6に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。

選択された放射性同位体を液体廃棄物から除去するための浸漬可能カラムであって、該カラムは、
媒体のカラムを保持するためのケーシングであって、該媒体は、選択された放射性同位体を、該媒体を通過させられる液体廃棄物から除去するためのものである、ケーシングと、
前記ケーシングおよび前記媒体のカラムを囲繞するための保護メッシュスクリーンと
を備える、浸漬可能カラム。

前記媒体は、同位体特異的媒体を含む、項目10に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
(項目12)
前記保護メッシュスクリーンは、ステンレス鋼を含む、項目11に記載の浸漬可能カラム。

前記媒体は、粒状材料を含む、項目11に記載の浸漬可能カラム。
(項目14)
前記媒体は、ガラスベースの微小球、ハーシェル沸石、改質ハーシェル沸石、またはヒドロキシアパタイトを含む、項目11に記載の浸漬可能カラム。
(項目15)
前記媒体および前記ケーシングは、使い捨てである、項目11に記載の浸漬可能カラム。
(項目16)

Claims (9)
- 選択された放射性同位体を液体廃棄物から除去するための浸漬可能媒体フィルタであって、該浸漬可能媒体フィルタは、
内側フィルタ部材および外側フィルタ部材であって、該外側フィルタ部材は、襞付きであり、該内側フィルタ部材は、襞なしであり、円筒形の形状および円筒形の襞なし外側表面を有し、該内側フィルタ部材および外側フィルタ部材は、
媒体であって、選択された放射性同位体を、該媒体を通過させられる液体廃棄物から除去するための、媒体
を保持する間隙体積を画定する、内側フィルタ部材および外側フィルタ部材と、
内側メッシュスクリーンおよび外側メッシュスクリーンであって、該内側メッシュスクリーンは、襞なしであり、円筒形の形状および円筒形の襞なし外側表面を有し、該内側メッシュスクリーンおよび該外側メッシュスクリーンは、該内側フィルタ部材、該媒体、および該外側フィルタ部材を、該内側メッシュスクリーンと該外側メッシュスクリーンとの間に保持し、該内側メッシュスクリーンは、該内側フィルタ部材内に形成された円筒形の中央開口部内に挿入されるように構成されている、内側メッシュスクリーンおよび外側メッシュスクリーンと
を備える、浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。 - 前記媒体は、粒状材料を含む、請求項1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
- 前記媒体は、ガラスベースの微小球を含む、請求項1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
- 前記媒体は、ハーシェル沸石、改質ハーシェル沸石、またはヒドロキシアパタイトを含む、請求項1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
- 前記媒体のガラス化を支援するためのガラス形成材料をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の浸漬可能媒体フィルタ。
