Description
Claims (3)
- ピストンを挿入するシリンダ孔を備えた作用部に、前記シリンダ孔の底部とピストンとの間に設けられる液圧室へ昇圧した作動液を導入するユニオン孔を備えたユニオンボス部と、作動液中の混入エアを排出するブリーダ孔を備えたブリーダボス部とを設けた車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディにおいて、
前記ユニオンボス部は、前記作用部の反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部に形成され、前記ブリーダボス部は、前記シリンダ孔の底壁の外周側から前記ユニオンボス部に亘って形成されると共に、前記ユニオンボス部と前記ブリーダボス部とは、前記ユニオンボス部が前記ブリーダボス部よりもシリンダ軸と同方向に突出する一連の突状部で形成されていることを特徴とする車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。 - 前記ブリーダボス部は、前記ユニオンボス部のディスク周方向両側部にそれぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
- 請求項1記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディの製造方法において、
キャリパボディの作用部の反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部に対応する位置に設けた湯口から鋳型内に注湯して、前記作用部の反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部に湯口部を有する成型体を鋳造し、
該成型体の湯口部を切削加工して、前記作用部の反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部にユニオンボス部を形成すると共に、前記シリンダ孔の底壁の外周側から前記ユニオンボス部に亘って前記作用部の反ディスクロータ側面にブリーダボス部をそれぞれ形成し、前記ユニオンボス部と前記ブリーダボス部とを、前記ユニオンボス部が前記ブリーダボス部よりもシリンダ軸と同方向に突出する一連の突状部で形成する
ことを特徴とする車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディの製造方法。
