Description
(メタ)アクリル重合体は、(メタ)アクリル単量体を含む単量体成分を重合して得られる重合体である。ここで、「(メタ)アクリル単量体」とは、アクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル等のアクリル系単量体、及び/又は、メタアクリル酸、メタアクリル酸エステル等のメタアクリル系単量体を示す。すなわち、(メタ)アクリル重合体は、アクリル系単量体及びメタクリル系単量体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種の単量体を含む単量体成分を重合して得られる重合体、ということもできる。
トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤は、トリメリット酸エステルのうち可塑剤として使用し得る化合物であり、好適には下記式(1)で表される化合物である。
第一の酸化防止剤は、ヒンダードフェノール骨格を有する酸化防止剤であり、熱伝導性シート10に耐熱安定性を付与する。熱伝導性シート10においては、トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤及び第二の酸化防止剤の併用によって、第一の酸化防止剤のブリードアウトが抑制されているため、高温環境下で保持した場合であっても、第一の酸化防止剤による耐熱安定性の効果が長期間維持される。
第二の酸化防止剤は、チオエーテル骨格を有する酸化防止剤である。第二の酸化防止剤は、トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤との組み合わせにおいて、高温環境下での長期使用における可塑剤の気化及び酸化防止剤のブリードアウトを抑制し、熱伝導性シート10に高温環境下での長期安定性を付与する。
熱伝導性フィラーは、熱伝導性シート10に実質的な熱伝導性を付与する成分である。熱伝導性フィラーとしては、特に限定されず、公知の熱伝導性フィラーを用いることができる。
熱伝導性シート10は、上記以外の成分を含有していてもよい。例えば、熱伝導性シート10は、粘着付与剤、可塑剤、難燃剤、難燃助剤、沈降防止剤、増粘剤、超微粉シリカ等のチクソトロピー剤、界面活性剤、消泡剤、着色剤、導電性粒子、静電気防止剤、金属不活性化剤等の添加剤を含有していてもよい。これらの添加剤は、単独で又は二種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。

(ビタミンE系酸化防止剤)
・IrganoxE201:BASF社製、3,4−ジヒドロ2,5,7,8−テトラメチル−2−(4,8,12−トリメチルトリデシル)−2H−ベンゾピラン−6−オール
(アジピン酸エステル系可塑剤)
・DINA:ジイソノニルアジペート(沸点227℃/0.67kPa)
・DIDA:ジイソデシルアジペート(沸点240℃/0.53kPa)
(フタル酸エステル系可塑剤)
・DIDP:ジイソデシルフタレート(沸点420℃/101.3kPa)
(リン酸エステル系可塑剤)
・TPP:トリフェニルフォスフェート(沸点370℃/101.3kPa)
表1〜3に記載の各成分を、表1〜3に記載の配合割合(質量比)でプラネタリーミキサーに仕込み、減圧下(0.01MPa)、30分間混練することによって脱気及び混合して、熱伝導性組成物を得た。得られた熱伝導性組成物を、シリコーン離型剤で処理された2枚のポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)ライナーで挟持し、シート状にカレンダー成形した。得られた成形物に、0.3mW/cm2で10分間、5mW/cm2で10分間の条件で光照射し、重合させて、厚さ1mmの熱伝導性シートを得た。
実施例及び比較例で得られた熱伝導性シートについて、下記の方法で初期の熱伝導率、柔軟性及び色相と、熱安定性試験後の熱伝導率、柔軟性及び色相とを評価した。評価結果は表4に示すとおりであった。
実施例及び比較例で作製した熱伝導性シートから、各々0.01m×0.01mの試験サンプル(測定面積:1.0×10−4m2、厚さ:L(m))を切出した。この試験サンプルを、発熱板と冷却板で挟み、7.6×104N/m2の一定荷重の下、4.8Wの電力を加えて5分間保持したときの、発熱板と冷却板の温度差(K)を測定し、下記式により熱抵抗RL(K・m2/W)を求めた。
RL(K・m2/W)=温度差(K)×測定面積(m2)/電力(W)
λ(W/(m・K))=L/(R2L−RL)
実施例及び比較例で作製した熱伝導性シートを各々10枚積層して測定用サンプルとし、アスカーC硬度計により、サンプルの硬度を荷重1kgで測定した。
実施例及び比較例で作製した熱伝導性シートの初期の色相を、各々目視により評価した。次いで、熱伝導率の評価で行ったものと同じ熱安定性試験を行い、熱安定性試験後の熱伝導性シートの色相を、初期の色相と比較して、色味の変化を目視で評価した。
Claims (3)
- 単量体成分、重合開始剤、トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤、ヒンダードフェノール骨格を有する第一の酸化防止剤、チオエーテル骨格を有する第二の酸化防止剤、及び熱伝導性フィラーを含む樹脂組成物を重合させてなる、(メタ)アクリル重合体、トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤、ヒンダードフェノール骨格を有する第一の酸化防止剤、チオエーテル骨格を有する第二の酸化防止剤、及び熱伝導性フィラーを含有する熱伝導性シートであって、
前記単量体成分が、単官能(メタ)アクリル単量体及び多官能(メタ)アクリル単量体からなり、
前記単官能(メタ)アクリル単量体が、炭素数12〜20のアルキル基を有するアルキル(メタ)アクリレートからなり、
前記熱伝導性シート中の(メタ)アクリル重合体が、前記単量体成分の重合体である、熱伝導性シート。 - 前記トリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤が、下記式(1)で表される化合物である、請求項1に記載の熱伝導性シート。
[式中、R1、R2及びR3はそれぞれ独立に炭素数1〜24のアルキル基を示す。] - 前記第二の酸化防止剤が、下記式(2)で表される化合物である、請求項1又は2に記載の熱伝導性シート。
[式中、R4及びR5はそれぞれ独立に炭素数1〜8のアルカンジイル基を示し、R6及びR7はそれぞれ独立に炭素数2〜40のアルキル基を示す。]
