Description
特に、電源からの電力をパルス電圧とし、負荷へ供給するパルス発生部を備える電力供給手段では、電力供給手段の切り替えが行われた場合、パルス電圧を短時間で、負荷に応じたパルス電圧にしなければならない。しかし、切替先の電力供給手段は、負荷に関する情報を有していないため、短時間で負荷に応じたパルス電圧を出力することが困難であった。
負荷電流は、フィードバック制御によって、パルス発生部20から出力されるパルス電圧のパルス幅が変化することに伴い変化するが、変化を開始して安定するまでに図3に示されるように所定の時定数を有する。
一方、第2周期は、時定数よりも早い周期とされている。これにより、本実施形態に係る電力供給装置10は、フィードバック制御を短時間でより多くの回数行うこととなるので、パルス発生部20から出力されるパルス電圧が、負荷電流を所定値とするようにより短時間で制御されることとなる。
これにより、本実施形態に係る電力供給装置10は、パルス発生部20に対するフィードバック制御を早い周期で行っても、負荷電流の制御を精度良く行えることとなる。

Claims (5)
- 同一の負荷に対して電力を供給可能な複数の電力供給手段を備え、一の前記電力供給手段によって前記負荷へ電力を供給し、前記負荷へ電力を供給している前記電力供給手段に異常が発生した場合に、前記負荷へ電力を供給する前記電力供給手段を他の前記電力供給手段へ切り替える電力供給装置であって、
前記電力供給手段は、
出力するべき電圧及び電流に対応したパルス幅のパルス電圧を発生させるパルス発生手段と、
前記負荷に流れる電流が所定値となるように、前記パルス発生手段が出力するパルス電圧をフィードバック制御するフィードバック制御手段と、
を具備し、
前記負荷へ電力を供給している前記電力供給手段に異常が発生し、前記負荷へ電力を供給する前記電力供給手段を他の前記電力供給手段へ切り替える場合、切替先の前記電力供給手段が具備する前記パルス発生手段に対するフィードバック制御の制御周期を、切り替え前の前記電力供給手段における第1周期に比べて早い第2周期とする電力供給装置。 - 前記第2周期は、前記パルス発生手段に対するフィードバック制御が行われることによって前記負荷に流れる電流が変化を開始し、安定するまでの時定数よりも早い周期である請求項1記載の電力供給装置。
- 前記フィードバック制御手段は、前記時定数に基づいて前記負荷に流れる電流を推算し、該推算結果に基づいて前記パルス発生手段に対するフィードバック制御を行う請求項2記載の電力供給装置。
- 前記フィードバック制御の制御周期は、前記負荷へ電力を供給する前記電力供給手段が他の前記電力供給手段へ切り替えられてから所定時間経過後に、前記第2周期から前記第1周期へ変更される請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項記載の電力供給装置。
- 出力するべき電圧及び電流に対応したパルス幅のパルス電圧を発生させるパルス発生手段と、負荷に流れる電流が所定値となるように、前記パルス発生手段が出力するパルス電圧をフィードバック制御するフィードバック制御手段と、を具備した電力供給手段を複数備えた電力供給装置を用いて、同一の前記負荷へ電力を供給する前記電力供給手段を切り替える電力供給切替方法であって、
前記負荷へ電力を供給している前記電力供給手段に異常が発生したか否かを判定する第1工程と、
前記負荷へ電力を供給している前記電力供給手段に異常が発生したと判定され、前記負荷へ電力を供給する前記電力供給手段を他の前記電力供給手段へ切り替える場合、切替先の前記電力供給手段が具備する前記パルス発生手段に対するフィードバック制御の制御周期を、切り替え前の前記電力供給手段における第1周期に比べて早い第2周期とする第2工程と、
を含む電力供給切替方法。
