Description
図1に示すように、車両1は複数の動力源を組み合わせたハイブリッド車両として構成されている。車両1は、エンジン3と、2つのモータ・ジェネレータ4、5とを走行用の動力源として備えている。エンジン3は4つの気筒10を備えた直列4気筒型の内燃機関として構成されている。エンジン3は空燃比を変更可能で、目標空燃比を理論空燃比よりもリーン側に設定するリーン燃焼が可能なリーンバーンエンジンとして構成されている。エンジン3から排出された排気は排気通路11に導かれ、その排気中の窒素酸化物(NOx)等の有害物質は排気浄化触媒12にて浄化される。排気浄化触媒12は排気中のNOxを吸蔵し還元する周知のNOx吸蔵還元型の触媒として構成されている。
次に、図5〜図8を参照しながら、本発明の第2の形態を説明する。第2の形態は、NOx濃度が閾値Thを超えているが、第2モータ・ジェネレータ5のモータトルクの大きさがリッチスパイク禁止範囲AR内にある場合に実施する制御内容に特徴がある。その他の事項は第1の形態と共通であるから説明を省略する。

Claims (3)
- 排気中の窒素酸化物を吸蔵し還元する排気浄化触媒が設けられ、空燃比を変更可能なエンジンと、
第1モータ・ジェネレータと、
駆動輪にトルクを伝達するための出力部と、
前記エンジンのトルクを前記第1モータ・ジェネレータと前記出力部とに分配する差動機構と、
前記出力部にギアを介して連結された第2モータ・ジェネレータと、
を有するハイブリッド車両に適用され、
所定の実行条件が成立した場合に前記エンジンの空燃比を一時的にリッチ側に変化させることにより前記排気浄化触媒の排気浄化機能を回復させるリッチスパイク運転を前記エンジンに実行させるハイブリッド車両の制御装置であって、
前記実行条件が成立するための成立要件の一つとして、前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの大きさが0Nmを含むリッチスパイク禁止範囲から外れていることが設定され、かつ、前記成立要件の他の一つとして、前記排気浄化触媒の窒素酸化物濃度が、排気エミッションの制限を遵守できる限界である許容上限値よりも小さい値である閾値を超えることが設定されており、
前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの大きさが前記リッチスパイク禁止範囲内にある場合に前記リッチスパイク運転の実行が制限され、
前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの大きさが大きい場合は小さい場合よりも前記リッチスパイク運転が実行され易くなるように前記実行条件が設定されていることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの大きさが前記リッチスパイク禁止範囲内で、かつ前記排気浄化触媒の窒素酸化物濃度が前記閾値を超えている場合に、前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの大きさが前記リッチスパイク禁止範囲から外れるように前記エンジンの動作点を変化させるエンジン制御手段を備える請求項1に記載の制御装置。
- 前記ハイブリッド車両は、前記第2モータ・ジェネレータに電気的に接続されたバッテリを更に有し、
前記エンジン制御手段は、前記バッテリの蓄電率及び前記第2モータ・ジェネレータのモータトルクの正負に応じて前記エンジンの動作点の変更方法を切り替える請求項2に記載の制御装置。
