粘度数は、ISO 307(2007年版)に準拠して、ギ酸(90重量%)中にPA410試料を0.005g/mlの濃度で溶解させることと、Ubelohde粘度計での、溶媒の流れの時間(t0)および溶液の流れの時間(t1)を25℃にて測定し、式VN=[(t1/t0)−1]×200ml/グラムにより粘度数を算出することによる粘度数の測定とによって測定した。

50マイクロメートルの流延フィルムに対して、23℃にて50%の湿度で透過実験を行った。試料なしでブランク測定を行い、各波長における検出器への透過光を100%に設定した。試料を配置し、測定を繰り返した。各波長において記録された光透過をブランク測定値に対して正規化し、そうして%での透過率値を得た。ポリアミドの総量に基づき100重量%のPA410のフィルム(実施例1)、ならびにPA6を含みかつそれぞれ1重量%、5重量%、10重量%、25重量%および50重量%のPA410を含むブレンド(それぞれ実施例2〜6)を測定した。さらに、PA66とPA410とを含むブレンドも測定した(実施例7)。比較として、PA6を含みかつそれぞれ1および10重量%のPA610を含む2種のブレンドを測定した(比較例AおよびB)。
曇り度=[(T4/T2)−(T3/T1)]×100%
実施例1は、少なくとも91%の透過率を示した。実施例2〜5は、純PA6フィルムおよび100重量%PA410(実施例1)と比較して0.2%未満の透過率の差を示した。可視光の波長についての透過率は、これらのブレンドについても、少なくとも91%であった。同様の効果が、ポリアミド6,6とポリアミド4,10とのブレンドを含むフィルム、すなわち実施例7についても観察された。純PA6フィルムと比較して、0.6%未満の曇り度の差が、100重量%PA410フィルム(実施例8)およびPA6とPA410とのブレンド(実施例9〜13)について観察された。さらに、全ての実施例について、1%未満の曇り度が、350〜1150nmの間の波長について観察された。これは、光透過率が非常に高いことを示している。同様の結果が実施例14、すなわちPA6,6とPA410とを含むブレンドについても観察された。これらの結果は、本発明に従うフィルムを用いれば、良好な光学的透明性が得られ得ること、およびブレンド中のPA410の量を増加させても、光学的透明性は良好なままであることを、明確に示している。
酸素透過性測定もまた、ポリアミド6を含みかつそれぞれ1重量%、5重量%および10重量%のPA410を含むブレンド(実施例15〜17)について、50マイクロメートルフィルムに対して行った。驚くべきことに、乾燥条件下での酸素透過性は、これらのブレンドについて、100重量%PA6フィルムの酸素透過性と比べて十分に残っている。ポリアミド6を含みかつそれぞれ1重量%、5重量%および10重量%のPA410を含むブレンド(実施例18〜20)について行われた、相対湿度85%の湿潤条件下において、酸素透過性は、低下すらした。乾燥条件下での100重量%PA410フィルム(実施例21)についての酸素透過性は4.1ccmm/m2日であり、6.8ccmm/m2日であることを示した100重量%PA610フィルム(比較例E)についてよりも低いことを示した。相対湿度85%での100%PA410フィルムについての酸素透過性は3.67ccmm/m2日であり(実施例22)、3.24ccmm/m2日であった100%PA6フィルム(比較例F)に対して匹敵するものである。驚くべきことに、酸素透過性を相対湿度の関数として外挿すると、これは、相対湿度が100%である場合に、100%PA410のフィルムの方が、100%PA6のフィルムよりも低い酸素透過性を示すことを示した。このことは、湿気が存在するようなフィルム用途にとって有利である。
耐破壊性を、本発明に従うフィルムについて測定した。直径70mmの円形試料を、供給されたフィルムから打抜いた。これらの円形試料を、内径20mmのスパンツール(span tool)上にクランプした。直径6mmおよび上面半径7mmの円柱形インデンターを、50mm/分の一定速度で、試料に、破断に至るまで、押し通した。この試験は、荷重測定用に200Nロードセルを備えた標準的な引張試験機(Zwick Z1474)を用いて行った。インデンターの変位は、横変位(traverse displacement)によって測定した。測定は、23℃および相対湿度50%で行い、6重に実施した。荷重−変位曲線下の面積をフィルムの厚さで除することによって、正規化された破断までのエネルギー(Nmm/μm)を求めた。表2に結果を示す。
Claims (5)
- ブタン−1,4−ジアミンのモノマー単位とデカン二酸のモノマー単位とを有するポリアミド(PA410)と、さらなるポリアミドと、を含有するポリマー組成物の少なくとも1つの層を含み、前記さらなるポリアミドがPA6またはPA66である、フィルムまたはプレートであって、
前記少なくとも1つの層の前記ポリマー組成物が、1〜50pbw(重量部)のPA410および99〜50pbwの前記さらなるポリアミドを含有し、PA410および前記さらなるポリアミドは、合計100pbwになる、フィルムまたはプレート。 - 請求項1に記載のフィルムまたはプレートから製造されたパッケージ。
- 太陽電池用カバーフィルムとしての、請求項1に記載のフィルムの使用。
- フレキシブル回路板の基板材料としての、請求項1に記載のフィルムの使用。
- 食品用または燃料用パッケージとしての、請求項1に記載のフィルムの使用。
