Abstract
Description
- 熱処理により、ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)樹脂から、最大2.5mmの厚さを有するシートを調製する工程;
- 前記シートを冷却させる工程;及び
- 冷却したシートを、90〜130℃の範囲の温度にて、少なくとも4/1の延伸比で、少なくとも1つの方向に延伸して、配向フィルムを得る工程
を含む方法を提供する。
固有粘度(IV) = {ηrel-1+3*ln(ηrel)}/(4*c)
を使用して固有粘度を計算する。
IV=1.23 * 10-4 * Mw 0.7792
として記述されうること見出した。
ングリコール部分のレベルは、可能な限り低いことが望ましく、好ましくは0である。したがって、ジエチレングリコール部分の量は、2,5-フランジカルボキシレート部分のモル量を基準として、最も好ましくは0〜3.2mol%であり、特に0.1〜3.0mol%である。
したがって、本発明はまた、1〜400μmの厚さ、及びISO527に従って決定された少なくとも100MPaの破断点引張強さを有する、ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)を含む配向フィルムも提供する。フィルムは、ISO537に従って決定された、少なくとも100MPa、好ましくは少なくとも125MPaという破断前の引張強さを好適には有する。典型的には、引張強さは最大500MPaである。好ましくは、破壊前の引張強さは125〜350MPaの範囲である。
実施例2に記載した粉砕し乾燥させたPET樹脂粒子を、実施例2におけるPEF樹脂試料の処理と同様の処理に供した。得られたフィルムの結果をTable 4(表4)に示す。
Claims (42)
- ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)を含む配向フィルムの製造方法であって、
- 熱処理により、ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)樹脂から、最大2.5mmの厚さを有するシートを調製する工程;
- 前記シートを冷却させる工程;及び
- 冷却したシートを、90〜130℃の範囲の温度にて、少なくとも4/1の延伸比で、少なくとも1つの方向に延伸して、配向フィルムを得る工程
を含む方法。 - 前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)樹脂中の前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)が、少なくとも60,000g/molの質量平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)樹脂中の前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)が、60,000〜250,000g/molの範囲、好ましくは75,000〜200,000g/molの範囲の質量平均分子量を有する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)が、2,5-フランジカルボキシレート部分のモル量を基準として、最大4.5mol%、好ましくは0〜3.2mol%のジエチレングリコール部分を含有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シートが調製されたときの前記熱処理が、押出及び/又は圧縮成形を含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理が、245〜265℃の範囲の温度における圧縮成形によって行われる、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理が、230〜280℃の範囲の温度における押出によって行われる、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記押出が、フラット又は環状のダイを使用する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートの前記延伸が、1つ又は複数のセットのローラーに沿って前記シートを加速することにより実施される、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 一軸配向フィルムを形成するために、前記延伸が少なくとも4の引き伸ばし比にて行われる、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- テンターを使用して、一軸配向フィルムが第2の方向に延伸される、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートの前記延伸が、ブローンフィルム装置内で実施される、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記押出プロセスが、多層構造を得るための共押出プロセスである、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記シートが、0.1〜2.0mm、好ましくは0.15〜1.8mmの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シートを130℃未満の温度に冷却させる、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、少なくとも2つの方向に延伸される、請求項1から15一項に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、少なくとも3.0の延伸比にて一方向に延伸され、少なくとも3.0の延伸比にて第2の方向に延伸される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、4.0超の延伸比にて一方向に延伸され、4.0超の延伸比にて第2の方向に延伸される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、4.2〜5.5の範囲の延伸比にて一方向に延伸され、4.2〜8.0の範囲の延伸比にて第2の方向に延伸される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、直角をなす2つの方向に延伸される、請求項16から19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートが、2つ以上の方向に同時に又は逐次的に延伸される、請求項1から20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記延伸が、92〜128℃、好ましくは95〜110℃の範囲の温度にて実施される、請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却したシートを延伸した後の前記配向フィルムが、拘束下で維持されたまま、ヒートセット工程において140〜210℃の温度に加熱される、請求項1から22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒートセット工程が、テンター延伸装置に至る延長部の一部として実施される、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)樹脂が、1種又は複数の他のポリマー及び添加剤を含む、請求項1から24のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記他のポリマーが、ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)、ナイロン6、ナイロン6,6、ポリオレフィン、スチレン及びブタジエン及び/又はイソプレンのブロックコポリマー並びにこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤が、ジエチレングリコールの形成を抑制できる塩基性化合物及び/又はアンモニウム化合物、可塑剤、軟化剤、染料、酸化防止剤、脱酸素剤、UV安定剤、充填剤並びにこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項25又は26に記載の方法。
- 1〜400μmの厚さ、及びISO527に従って決定された少なくとも100MPaの破断点引張強さを有する、ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)を含む配向フィルム。
- ISO527に従って決定された、少なくとも2000MPa、好ましくは3000〜10,000MPaの範囲の引張弾性率を有する、請求項28に記載のフィルム。
- ISO527に従って決定された、少なくとも25%の破断点伸びを有する、請求項28又は29に記載のフィルム。
- ASTM D-3985に従って決定された、相対湿度0%及び23℃における最大0.7cc・mm/m2・day・atmの酸素透過度を有する、請求項28から30のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- ASTM D2732-8に従って、グリセロール中で20秒間90℃にて決定された、最大5%の収縮率を有する、請求項28から31のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)を含む前記フィルム中の前記ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)が、少なくとも50,000g/mol、好ましくは55,000〜100,000g/molの質量平均分子量を有する、請求項28から32のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 二軸配向フィルムである、請求項28から33のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- ポリ(エチレン-2,5-フランジカルボキシレート)に加えて、他のポリマー及び/又は添加剤を含む、請求項28から34のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 別の材料上に積層された、請求項28から35のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 請求項28から36のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム及び1つ又は複数の追加の層を含む多層構造。
- 前記1つ又は複数の追加の層が、ポリマー基材上への金属の堆積によって形成された層を含む、請求項37に記載の多層構造。
- 前記1つ又は複数の追加の層が、他の各種層の付着を促進するための層を含む、請求項37又は38に記載の多層構造。
- 前記1つ又は複数の追加の層が、前記多層構造の密封特性を強化又は変更するための層を含む、請求項37から39のいずれか一項に記載の多層構造。
