Description
図1、2に示すベーンポンプ1は、車両に搭載される油圧機器14として、例えば、パワーステアリング装置や変速機等の油圧供給源として用いられるものである。
第一、第二の吐出領域において、ボディ側サイドプレート30に開口する背圧ポート33が設けられていないため、ベーン背圧室6で加圧される作動流体がベーンリング反対側圧力室20を通って背圧ポート33に流出することを抑えられる。これにより、ベーン背圧室6の流体圧力が適度に高められ、ベーン3がカムリング4に円滑に追従する。
次に図7、8に示す第2実施形態を説明する。図7は、ロータ2の斜視図、図8はロータ2の背面図である。これは第1実施形態と基本的に同じ構成を有し、相違する部分のみを説明する。なお第1実施形態と同一構成部には同一符号を付す。

Claims (4)
- 流体圧供給源として用いられるベーンポンプであって、
回転駆動されるロータと、
前記ロータに放射状に形成される複数のスリットと、
前記スリットから摺動可能に突出する複数のベーンと、
前記ベーンの基端部と前記スリットとの間に画成されるベーン背圧室と、
前記ロータが回転するのに伴って前記ベーンの先端部が摺接するカムリングと、
前記カムリングと前記ロータと隣り合う前記ベーンとの間に画成されるポンプ室と、
前記ベーンの基端部に対峙するベーンリングと、
前記スリットの一端が開口して前記ベーンリングが収容されるベーンリング収容室と、
前記スリットの他端が開口して前記ロータを前記ベーンリング側に押す方向に流体圧力を作用させるベーンリング反対側圧力室と、を備え、
前記ロータの端面に対して前記スリットが開口する部位毎に凹状に窪むスリット開口凹部が形成され、
前記スリット開口凹部と前記ロータが摺接するサイドプレートとの間に前記ベーンリング反対側圧力室が画成されることを特徴とするベーンポンプ。 - 前記ベーンリング反対側圧力室は、隣り合う前記スリット開口凹部どうしを連通する絞り通路を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のベーンポンプ。
- 前記ベーンリング反対側圧力室を画成する受圧面の面積の総和と、前記ベーンリング収容室を画成するベーンリング収容溝の受圧面の面積とが同等であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のベーンポンプ。
- 前記ロータが摺接するサイドプレートに開口してポンプ吐出圧を前記ベーンリング反対側圧力室を介して前記ベーン背圧室に導く背圧ポートを備え、
前記背圧ポートは、前記ポンプ室が拡張する吸込領域のみに設けられて、前記ポンプ室が収縮する吐出領域に設けられないことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載のベーンポンプ。
