適用例2:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、調整可能な利得を有する電力増幅器を備え、前記回路は、物体が前記電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在すると判定された時に、前記電力増幅器の前記利得を低下させる、前記電力増幅器に対する制御信号を生成する、電子デバイス。
適用例3:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記近接センサは光源を備える、電子デバイス。
適用例4:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記近接センサは発光ダイオードを備える、電子デバイス。
適用例5:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記近接センサは赤外発光ダイオードおよびフォトダイオードを備える、電子デバイス。
適用例6:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、前記送信電力の前記高周波信号を生成する利得調整可能な高周波電力増幅器と、前記高周波電力増幅器および前記アンテナの間に配置された高周波結合器と、前記送信電力を測定するために前記結合器からの信号を検出する検出器と、を備える、電子デバイス。
適用例7:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、前記送信電力の前記高周波信号を生成する利得調整可能な高周波電力増幅器と、前記高周波電力増幅器および前記アンテナの間に配置された高周波結合器と、前記送信電力を測定するために前記結合器からの信号を検出する検出器と、を備え、前記回路は、物体が前記電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在すると判定された時に、前記高周波電力増幅器の前記利得を低下させる、前記高周波電力増幅器に対する制御信号を生成する、電子デバイス。
適用例8:適用例7に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記近接センサは赤外発光ダイオードおよびフォトダイオードを備える、電子デバイス。
適用例9:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスは、環境光センサを有するハンドヘルド電子デバイスを含み、前記回路は、前記環境光センサからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する、電子デバイス。
適用例10:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスは、タッチセンサを有するハンドヘルド電子デバイスを含み、前記回路は、前記タッチセンサからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する、電子デバイス。
適用例11:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスは、静電容量タッチスクリーンディスプレイを有するハンドヘルド電子デバイスを含み、前記回路は、前記静電容量タッチスクリーンディスプレイからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する、電子デバイス。
適用例12:適用例1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、少なくとも第1の無線通信帯域および第2の無線通信帯域で高周波無線送信を扱う送信回路を備え、前記回路は、前記第2の無線通信帯域の高周波無線送信電力レベルで生じる変化に少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記第1の無線通信帯域の高周波無線送信電力調整を行うよう構成されている、電子デバイス。
Claims (15)
- 電子デバイスであって、
物体が前記電子デバイスから所定の距離内に存在することを検出する静電容量近接センサと、
送信電力で高周波信号を送信するための高周波アンテナと、
前記静電容量近接センサからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する回路と、
加速度計であって、前記回路は、前記近接センサからのデータと同時に、前記加速度計からのセンサデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整し、前記静電容量近接センサからの前記データに基づいて送信電力上限を設定する、加速度計と、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、調整可能な利得を有する電力増幅器を備え、
前記回路は、物体が前記電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在すると判定された時に、前記電力増幅器の前記利得を低下させる、前記電力増幅器に対する制御信号を生成する、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、
前記送信電力の前記高周波信号を生成する利得調整可能な高周波電力増幅器と、
前記高周波電力増幅器および前記アンテナの間に配置された高周波結合器と、
前記送信電力を測定するために前記結合器からの信号を検出する検出器と、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、
前記送信電力の前記高周波信号を生成する利得調整可能な高周波電力増幅器と、
前記高周波電力増幅器および前記アンテナの間に配置された高周波結合器と、
前記送信電力を測定するために前記結合器からの信号を検出する検出器と、
を備え、
前記回路は、物体が前記電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在すると判定された時に、前記高周波電力増幅器の前記利得を低下させる、前記高周波電力増幅器に対する制御信号を生成する、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスは、タッチセンサを有するハンドヘルド電子デバイスを含み、前記回路は、前記タッチセンサからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する、電子デバイス。
- 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスは、ハンドヘルド電子デバイスを含み、前記静電容量近接センサは、静電容量タッチスクリーンディスプレイを有し、
前記回路は、前記静電容量タッチスクリーンディスプレイからのデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整する、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、少なくとも第1の無線通信帯域および第2の無線通信帯域で高周波無線送信を扱う送信回路を備え、
前記回路は、前記第2の無線通信帯域の高周波無線送信電力レベルで生じる変化に少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記第1の無線通信帯域の高周波無線送信電力調整を行うよう構成されている、電子デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の電子デバイスは、さらに、少なくとも1つの追加センサを備え、前記回路は、前記近接センサからのデータと同時に、前記追加センサからのセンサデータに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を調整し、前記静電容量近接センサからの前記データに基づいて送信電力上限を設定する、電子デバイス。
- 請求項8に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記回路は、前記送信電力上限を超える調整された送信電力を生成する前記センサデータに基づく前記送信電力の調整を防ぐ、電子デバイス。
- ユーザによって操作されるハンドヘルド電子デバイスであって、
所定の送信電力で高周波信号を送信するためのアンテナと、
センサデータを生成する第1のセンサであって、加速度計を含む第1のセンサと、
前記ユーザの少なくとも一部分が前記ハンドヘルド電子デバイスから所定の距離内に存在するか否かを示す近接データを生成する静電容量近接センサである第2のセンサと、
前記センサデータと前記近接データに少なくとも一部基づいて前記送信電力を制御し、前記近接データに基づいて前記高周波信号の送信電力上限を設定する制御回路であって、前記制御回路は、前記ユーザが前記所定の距離内に存在するとの判定に応じて、前記センサデータに基づく前記送信電力の調整を抑制する制御回路と、
を備える、ハンドヘルド電子デバイス。 - 請求項10に記載のハンドヘルド電子デバイスは、さらに、光源および光検出器を有する近接センサを備え、前記制御回路は、前記センサデータ、前記近接データ、および前記近接センサからの情報を並列処理して前記送信電力を制御する、ハンドヘルド電子デバイス。
- ハンドヘルド電子デバイスを操作する方法であって、
アンテナによって所定の送信電力で高周波信号を送信する工程と、
ユーザが前記ハンドヘルド電子デバイスから所定の距離内に存在するか否かを静電容量近接センサによって判定する工程と、
前記ユーザが前記ハンドヘルド電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在するとの判定に応じて、制御回路によって前記送信電力を調整する工程と、
前記ユーザが前記ハンドヘルド電子デバイスから前記所定の距離内に存在するとの判定に応じて、前記制御回路によって送信電力上限を設定する工程と、
追加センサによってセンサデータを生成する工程と、
前記追加センサからの前記センサデータに基づいて、前記制御回路によって前記送信電力を調整する工程と、
前記制御回路によって、前記送信電力上限を超える調整された送信電力を生成する前記追加センサからの前記センサデータに基づく前記送信電力の調整を防ぐ工程と、
前記電子デバイスが第1の通信モードで機能しているか第2の通信モードで機能しているかを前記制御回路によって判定する工程と、
前記電子デバイスが前記第1の通信モードで機能しているとの判定に応じて、前記制御回路によって前記送信電力の調整が前記送信電力上限を超えることを可能にする工程と、 前記電子デバイスが前記第2の通信モードで機能しているとの判定に応じて、前記制御回路によって前記送信電力が前記送信電力上限未満に維持されることを確実にする工程と、
を備える方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、前記追加センサは加速度計を含み、前記センサデータの生成は、前記加速度計によって加速度計データを生成することを含む、方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法であって、前記第1の通信モードは第2世代携帯通信モードを含み、前記第2の通信モードは第3世代携帯通信モードを含む、方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法であって、さらに、前記電子デバイスは、前記第1の通信モードにおいて時分割多重化方式を用いて無線で通信し、前記第2の通信モードにおいて時分割多重化方式を用いて無線で通信しない、方法。
