Claims (8)
- 回転テーブル上に保持された塗布対象物を回転させると共に、この塗布対象物の上方に先端面が平坦になった筒状の塗布ノズルを導き、この塗布ノズルを塗布対象物の回転方向と交差する方向に相対的に移動させながら、塗布ノズルの先端のノズル孔から塗布液を吐出させて、塗布液を塗布対象物の表面に塗布する塗布装置において、塗布液を吐出させる塗布ノズルの先端部の一部に傾斜した切欠き部を形成すると共に、この塗布ノズルにおける切欠き部が回転する塗布対象物に塗布液を供給する位置の上流側に位置するように塗布ノズルの回転を制御させる回転制御手段を設け、上記の回転制御手段によって塗布ノズルの回転を制御するにあたり、塗布対象物の回転方向と交差する方向に相対的に移動させる塗布ノズルの送り速度ベクトルと、塗布ノズルから塗布液が供給される位置における塗布対象物の法線方向に対する塗布ノズルの相対移動速度ベクトルとの合成ベクトルの方向と同じ側に塗布ノズルの切欠き部が位置するように、塗布ノズルを回転させる塗布装置。
- 請求項1に記載の塗布装置において、上記の塗布ノズルの平坦な先端面に対する切欠き部の傾斜角αが10°〜70°の範囲である塗布装置。
- 請求項2に記載の塗布装置において、上記の塗布ノズルの平坦な先端面に対する切欠き部の傾斜角αが20°〜60°の範囲である塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置において、切欠き部が形成された上記の塗布ノズル先端の外周に沿って切欠き部より小さい角取り部が形成された塗布ノズルを用いた塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置において、上記の塗布ノズルを回転する塗布対象物の回転中心部から半径方向に外方に移動させながら塗布液を吐出させる塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項5の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置において、上記の塗布ノズルから塗布対象物に塗布する塗布液を、先に塗布された塗布液の少なくとも一部と重なるように塗布する塗布装置。
- 回転テーブル上に保持された塗布対象物を回転させると共に、この塗布対象物の上方に先端面が平坦になった筒状の塗布ノズルを導き、この塗布ノズルを塗布対象物の回転方向と交差する方向に相対的に移動させながら、塗布ノズルの先端のノズル孔から塗布液を吐出させて、塗布液を塗布対象物の表面に塗布する塗布方法において、塗布液を吐出させる塗布ノズルの先端部の一部に傾斜した切欠き部を形成し、この塗布ノズルにおける切欠き部が、回転する塗布対象物に塗布液を供給する位置の上流側であって、前記の塗布対象物の回転方向と交差する方向に相対的に移動させる塗布ノズルの送り速度ベクトルと、塗布ノズルから塗布液が供給される位置における塗布対象物の法線方向に対する塗布ノズルの相対移動速度ベクトルとの合成ベクトルの方向と同じ側に位置するように、塗布ノズルを回転させる塗布方法。
- 請求項1〜請求項6の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置又は請求項7に記載の塗布方法により、塗布対象物に塗布液が塗布されて製造された電子デバイス。
