Claims (3)
- 掃気通路から燃焼室へ混合気と空気を導入する空気掃気型の2サイクルエンジンであって、
エアクリーナと、気化器と、前記気化器とエンジン本体との間に配置されたスペーサと、前記空気を前記気化器のボディおよび前記スペーサを通って前記掃気通路に供給する空気通路、ならびに前記混合気を前記気化器のボディおよび前記スペーサを通って前記掃気通路に供給する混合気通路の開度を調整する弁体とを備え、
前記気化器が前記弁体を有し、
さらに、前記混合気通路における前記弁体の下流側に、前記エアクリーナを通過した清浄空気を前記混合気通路に導入する補助空気導入通路を備え、
前記清浄空気が前記混合気に先立って前記燃焼室に導入されるように設定され、
前記空気通路の一部、前記混合気通路の一部および前記補助空気導入通路が、前記気化器のボディに、前記空気の流れ方向に貫通して形成され、
前記エアクリーナに、清浄空気室に臨んで前記補助空気導入通路を形成する貫通孔の上流側開口となる上流連通孔が形成され、
前記補助空気導入通路の下流部が前記スペーサに形成されて、前記貫通孔の下流側開口と前記混合気通路とを連通している空気掃気型の2サイクルエンジン。 - 請求項1において、前記弁体は、前記空気通路および混合気通路の両方を開度調整する単一の回動弁であり、さらに、前記弁体を貫通して弁体の軸方向に移動することにより燃料のメインノズルの開度を調節するニードル弁と、始動時に前記ニードル弁を開放方向に移動させることにより燃料濃度を増大させるリフトアップレバーを備えた空気掃気型の2サイクルエンジン。
- 請求項1または2において、さらに、前記弁体の上流側に配置されて始動時に前記空気通路および混合気通路の開度を絞るチョーク弁を備え、前記チョーク弁に、始動時に前記補助空気導入通路を閉塞する通路閉塞部が設けられている空気掃気型の2サイクルエンジン。
