Description
Claims (13)
- 焦点距離が調節可能な光学素子であって、選択した可撓性を有する第1透明層を有し、前記第1透明層は、電圧の印加時に収縮し、これにより前記第1透明層を屈曲させるように適合された圧電層を有し、前記第1透明層は、光軸に対して実質的に対称の貫通空洞を有する基板に適用され、透明な軟質ポリマーが前記第1透明層と表面を接して前記空洞内に配されており、
前記第1透明層は、ガラス、サファイヤまたはSiO2等の硬質材料によって構成され、前記圧電層は、前記軸に対して対称に配置されたリング状の圧電素子によって構成され、これにより、前記リングの中央部が、前記電圧の印加時に、実質的に球形の屈折面を得る光学素子。 - 前記第1透明層はSiO2から構成され、前記基板はSiから形成される請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1透明層および前記基板の両方はガラスから形成される請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記圧電層は、スクリーン印刷によって前記第1透明層に堆積されたシルクスクリーン印刷である請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記軟質ポリマーの反対の面に配置され、前記軟質ポリマーを実質的に覆っている第2透明層を更に有する請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記素子内の圧力を周囲環境と等しくするためのリークチャネルを更に有する請求項5に記載の光学素子。
- 前記空洞内に、選択された量の圧縮可能な気体を更に有する請求項5に記載の光学素子。
- 前記圧縮可能な気体は、前記軸に対して実質的に対称に分配される請求項7に記載の光学素子。
- 前記圧電層は、前記光軸を含む平面に対して面対称の力を提供し、これにより、前記第1透明層に円筒状の屈曲を与えるように適合されている請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記前記軟質ポリマーはゲルである請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の光学素子。
- レンズの製造方法であって、
一面にSiO2またはガラス層を有するシリコン板を提供するステップと、
前記シリコン板に開口をエッチングするステップと、
前記開口に、前記SiO2またはガラス層と接して軟質ポリマーを配するステップと、
選択された光軸と同軸状に配置され、前記SiO2 またはガラス層に力を印加するように適合されたリング状の圧電素子を、前記SiO2またはガラス層上に配置するステップと、を有し、前記リング形状の圧電素子の印加により、前記リング形状の圧電素子の中央部において前記第1層の曲率が変更され、前記第1層および前記第1層に付着した前記軟質ポリマーに隆起またはドームを形成する方法。 - 前記シリコン板の前記SiO 2 またはガラス層と反対の面に第2層が設けられ、これにより前記軟質ポリマーが空洞内に封入される請求項11に記載の方法。
- レンズの提供方法であって、
ガラス基板の一面にリング状の圧電駆動部を堆積するステップと、
例えばエッチングまたは研削によって、前記ガラス基板の反対の面から前記ガラス基板を薄化して、薄い透明なガラス層を残したまま、選択した深さの空洞を設けるステップと、
前記リング状の圧電駆動部が前記空洞と反対の面にある中心部を取り囲むように、前記薄化したガラス層の面の一方に軟質ポリマーを配するステップと、を有する方法。
