Claims (9)
- 焦点距離が調節可能な光学素子であって、前記光学素子は、光軸を有し、選択された屈折率を有する透明ゲル(3)上に配置されることを特徴とする、前記光軸に対して垂直の配向を有する第1透明層(1)と、前記透明ゲル上の前記第1透明層とは反対の面に配置される第2透明層(4)と、を備え、前記第1透明層(1)は、パイレックス(登録商標)、SiO 2 、またはサファイアから構成される可撓性を有するガラス層から形成され、前記可撓性を有する第1透明層は、力駆動部(5、8)であって、リング状の圧電または電歪駆動部によって構成され、前記光軸から隔てて前記第1透明層に力を印加するよう適用される力駆動部(5、8)が設けられ、前記力は、前記光軸に対して実質的に対称であり、これにより前記第1透明層(1)を屈曲させ、レンズ面を提供し、湾曲屈折面(6)を提供し、したがって前記光学素子の前記焦点距離は曲率に応じ、前記透明ゲル(3)は、圧縮可能な気体(13)との少なくとも1つの面接触を有し、少なくとも1つの面は、前記光軸の外である、光学素子。
- 開口を有するSi基板(2)を更に備え、前記第1透明層(1)がSiO 2 によって構成され、前記開口内に前記透明ゲルが配される、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記力駆動部(5、8)は、前記光軸と同軸上に配置される前記第1透明層に円対称の力を印加し、これにより中心付近に実質的に球面形状の第1層を提供するように適合される、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記力駆動部(5、8)は、前記光学素子を含むハウジング内に取り付けられる同軸リング状の駆動部(8)である、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記透明ゲルは電歪性であり、前記力駆動部は、各層に提供された少なくとも1つの円形の電極と、前記電極間に電圧を印加する電圧提供手段とによって構成され、これにより、前記透明ゲルが前記電圧に反応して、前記電圧の結果、膨張または収縮する、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記力駆動部は、前記光軸に対して円対称の力を提供し、これにより、中心付近の前記第1透明層に、実質的に球形の屈曲を与えるように適合されている、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記力駆動部は、前記光軸を含む平面に対して面対称の力を提供し、これにより、前記第1透明層に円筒状の屈曲を与えるように適合されている、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記透明ゲルが空洞内に封入され、前記空洞は周囲環境へのリークチャネルを有する、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記圧縮可能な気体は、前記透明ゲルを囲み、前記光軸に対して実質的に対称の空間を構成している、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
