上記ロータには、冷却媒体を流すために、又は、重量低減のために、上記ロータ軸を中心とする周方向において隣り合う磁極間に、断面略三角形状の空洞が形成されており、
上記隣り合う磁極の一方の磁極の上記空洞に近い方の磁石である第1磁石と上記隣り合う磁極の他方の磁極の上記空洞に近い方の磁石である第2磁石とは、上記モータ・モードで作動しているときに、上記第1磁石と上記空洞との間の領域及び上記第2磁石と上記空洞との間の領域における上記ロータの磁束密度が平準化されるように、上記空洞に対して非対称となっている永久磁石式回転電機。 - ロータ、

上記ロータに近接して配置されるステータ、
上記ステータに配設されたステータ巻線、
上記ロータ内の上記ステータ巻線に近接した位置に埋め込まれた一対の磁石で構成された複数の磁極を備え、
上記ロータは、ロータ軸に連結されているとともに、上記ステータとの間に空隙を形成するように該ステータに対して回転可能に設けられていて、
上記ロータには、前記一対の磁石の間に上記ロータ軸と平行な空洞が形成されており、
上記一対の磁石は、上記モータ・モードで作動しているときに上記一対の磁石の一方の磁石と上記空洞との間の領域及び上記一対の磁石の他方の磁石と上記空洞との間の領域における上記ロータの磁束密度が平準化されるように、上記空洞に対して非対称となっている、永久磁石式回転電機。 - ロータ、
上記ロータに近接して配置されるステータ、
上記ステータに配設されたステータ巻線、
上記ロータ内の上記ステータ巻線に近接した位置に埋め込まれた一対の磁石で構成された複数の磁極を備え、モータ・モードで作動可能な永久磁石式回転電機であって、
