Description
Claims (6)
- 極低温のLNG(液化天然ガス)の漏れを防止するための第1のバリア並びに該第1のバリアを補完するために設けられる第2のバリア及び断熱パッドを有する、スロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンクであって、
前記カーゴタンク内でLNGが動くスロッシング現象を低減させるべく、前記カーゴタンク内の空間を複数の空間に仕切るためのスロッシング抑制バルクヘッドと、
前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドをLNGカーゴタンクの内壁に取り付けるべく、第1の表面において前記LNGカーゴタンクの前記内壁に接合され、第2の表面において前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドに接合されるスツール部とを含み、
前記スツール部が、前記第1のバリア及び前記第2のバリアにそれぞれ連結され、前記断熱パッドを前記スツール部内に有し、それによって、LNG運搬船船体の内壁への前記極低温のLNGの漏洩や前記LNG運搬船船体の前記内壁との熱交換を防止するようにし、
前記スツール部が、
前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドの端部と接合される第1の水平方向部材と、
前記第1の水平方向部材の下方に位置する第2の水平方向部材と、
前記第1の水平方向部材の各端部を対応する前記第2の水平方向部材の各端部に接続し、前記カーゴタンクの前記内壁まで延在する支持部材と、
前記支持部材の各上方端部から前記第1のバリアまで延在し、該第1のバリアと接合される第1の連結部材と、
前記支持部材の各上方端部から前記第2のバリアまで延在し、該第2のバリアと接合される第2の連結部材とを含み、
前記第2の水平方向部材の上又は下に複数の断熱パッドが設けられることを特徴とする、スロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。 - 前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドは、ジグザグ状のコルゲート形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。
- 前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドが、
プレート型隔壁と、
前記プレート型隔壁に垂直に結合されかつ鉛直方向に方向付けられたスティフナと、
前記プレート型隔壁に垂直に結合されかつ長手方向に方向付けられたストリンガとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。 - 前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドを貫通して穴が形成され、該穴を通って前記LNGが前記LNGカーゴタンク内の前記仕切られた両空間の間を行き来できるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のスロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。
- 前記第2の水平方向部材の下方に設けられかつ前記支持部材の前記上方端部に接合される第3の水平方向部材を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。
- 前記第2の水平方向部材、前記第3の水平方向部材及び前記支持部材の前記上方端部によって、密閉空間が画定され、該密閉空間が、前記スロッシング抑制バルクヘッドの外縁に沿って画定された1つの空間からなり、前記密閉空間内には、対応する部材に発生したクラックに起因するガス漏れを検出するために、ガスが充填されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のスロッシング抑制機構付きLNGカーゴタンク。
