Description
本発明は、日射エネルギーの吸収を抑え、車内側への再放射を抑えることができる、車両窓用合わせガラスを提供することを目的とする。
このような合わせガラスを確実に得るために、前記赤外線反射膜が、高屈折率層/低屈折率層/高屈折率層がこの順に積層された積層被膜を含むことが好ましい。
なお、本発明において吸収率は、吸収率=1−(反射率+透過率)で表す。厳密には、合わせガラスに入射する光は「反射」「吸収」「透過」の他に「散乱」がある。しかし、ガラス物品の場合「散乱」によるロスはきわめて小さいため、吸収率を1−(反射率+透過率)で表すことは妥当である。

図面に基づき本発明をさらに詳細に説明する。図1は、本発明の車両窓用合わせガラスの一例を示す概略断面図である。本例における合わせガラス1の基本構成は、2枚のガラス板11、12と中間膜30とである。第1のガラス板11、第2のガラス板12は、中間膜30を介して積層されている。第2のガラス板12は、合わせガラス1が車両に組みつけられた際に車外側に配される。第2のガラス板12には、中間膜30側に赤外線反射膜21が設けられている。中間膜30は、赤外線遮蔽性微粒子が分散配合された赤外線遮蔽性中間膜である。
図3(a)に、本発明で用いられるガラス板の分光透過率を示し、図3(b)に本発明で用いられるガラス板の分光反射率を示す。有色透明ガラス板は、無色透明ガラス板に比べて光の透過率が小さいことが分かる。
このようにすることで本発明に係る所望の赤外線遮蔽機能を効果的に発揮できるとともに、微粒子が混合されていることに起因するヘイズを小さくできる。
前記のようにして得られる中間膜は、その厚さは好ましくは0.5〜1mm程度であり、通常は0.76mmである。
本発明の車両窓用合わせガラスは、自動車のウインドシールドにも用いることができるように可視光透過率が好ましくは70%以上、特に75%以上であることが好ましい。
本発明における赤外線反射ガラス板の基板であるガラス板は、平板状ガラス板でもよく、加工ガラス板であってもよい。本発明において加工ガラス板とは、平板状ガラス板を成形して得られる成形ガラス板や熱強化して得られる強化ガラス板をいい、成形と同時に熱強化して得られるガラス板であってもよい。加工ガラス板は、通常平板状ガラス板を熱加工して得られる。熱加工としては、例えば、平板状ガラス板を加熱下に曲げ加工する、曲げ加工された高温ガラス板を急冷して強化する、などの加工がある。赤外線反射膜は、通常これらのガラス板の片面に存在する。赤外線反射膜を有する曲げ加工ガラス板は、曲げ加工ガラス板の片面に赤外線反射膜を形成する方法や、赤外線反射膜を有する平板状ガラス板を曲げ加工する方法などにより得られる。本発明においては、後者の方法で得られたものが好ましく、また本発明の目的の1つは、この方法に適合した赤外線反射膜付平板状ガラス板を提供する点にある。
本発明における赤外線反射ガラス板は、赤外線反射ガラスの前駆体(後述する)に、曲げ加工や強化加工等の熱処理を施すことによって製造できる。被膜の材料によっては曲げ加工や強化加工の際の熱処理によって、赤外線反射膜にクラックが発生するおそれがある。特に、赤外線反射膜全体の幾何学的厚さが大きい(例えば300nm以上)の場合には、クラックの発生について大きな懸念がある。
また、クラック発生を抑制するためには、被膜(1)を多層膜(1b)とすることも有効であり、特に、酸化ジルコニウムの層とチタン化合物の層とを含む多層膜(1b−1)とすることが好ましい。
赤外線反射膜中に存在する被膜(1)、被膜(2)は、それぞれの光学的厚さがほぼ等しいことが好ましい。それぞれの光学的厚さにばらつきが生じると、反射色にムラが発生したり、可視光透過率が低くなったりするおそれがある。赤外線反射防止膜中に2以上存在する被膜(1)の各々の光学的厚さの変動の範囲は、±50nmの範囲であることが好ましく、被膜(1)を構成する高屈折率無機質材料の屈折率を考慮すると、幾何学的厚さの変動の範囲は、±20nmの範囲であることが好ましい。また、高屈折率無機質材料の屈折率や、低屈折率無機質材料の屈折率を考慮すると、被膜(1)の幾何学的厚さと、被膜(2)の幾何学的厚さとの比は、被膜(1)/被膜(2)として、1/2〜3/4が好ましい。
さらに、積層被膜(X)全体の幾何学的厚さ(総膜厚)は、耐久性を良好にする観点から、240〜650nmが好ましく、300〜500nmが特に好ましい。

本発明における赤外線反射ガラス板は、車両窓に好適に用いられることから電波透過性が充分確保されていることが好ましい。具体的には、その赤外線反射膜のシート抵抗値が1kΩ/□以上であることが好ましい。より好ましいシート抵抗値は1MΩ/□以上であり、さらに1GΩ/□以上であることが好ましい。シート抵抗値は大きいほどよいことから、その上限値は特に限定されない。また、前記の赤外線反射膜を形成する材料は、熱処理を受けると、材料の酸化が進むため、熱処理前のシート抵抗値よりも大きなシート抵抗値を有することとなる。
本発明においては、酸窒化チタン層の組成はRBS(Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry)とNRA(Nuclear Reaction Analysis)とを併用する方法によって直接測定することができる。
例として、前記の酸窒化チタン層の好ましい組成におけるxおよびyの値を表2に示す。この値は前記と同じ前提に基づき、yの値を固定して算出した値として記載する。
スパッタリング法は、例えば、DC(直流)スパッタリング方式、AC(交流)スパッタリング方式、高周波スパッタリング方式、マグネトロンスパッタリング方式が挙げられる。中でも、プロセスが安定しており、大面積への成膜が容易であるという利点があるので、DCマグネトロンスパッタリング法およびACマグネトロンスパッタリング法が好ましい。
ターゲットの材質やスパッタガスの組成は、成膜する膜の種類によって選択される。また、スパッタリングの条件(圧力、温度等)は、成膜する膜の種類、厚さ等により適宜決定されうる。スパッタガスの全圧は、グロー放電が安定に行われる圧力であればよい。
酸化チタンからなる被膜の形成においては、ターゲットとしてTiOx(1<x<2)を用い、スパッタガスとして酸素原子を含むガスを含有するガスを用いて、反応性スパッタリング法を行う方法が好適に挙げられる。
酸窒化チタンからなる被膜の形成においては、ターゲットとしてTiOx(1<x<2)を用い、スパッタガスとして窒素原子を含むガスを含有するガスを用いて、反応性スパッタリング法を行う方法が好適に挙げられる。
酸化ケイ素からなる被膜の形成においては、ターゲットとして炭化ケイ素(SiC)や多結晶シリコンを用い、スパッタガスとして酸素原子を含むガスを含有するガスを用いて、反応性スパッタリング法を行う方法が好適に挙げられる。
酸化ジルコニウムからなる被膜の形成においては、ターゲットとしてZrを用い、スパッタガスとして酸素原子を含むガスを含有するガスを用いて、反応性スパッタリングを行う方法が好適に挙げられる。
ターゲットには、Al、Si、Zn等公知のドーパントを本発明の特徴を損なわない範囲でドープしてもよい。
構成(B)の車両窓用合わせガラスにおいて、樹脂フィルムとしては、PET、PEN、アクリル系樹脂、メタアクリル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート等のフィルムであることが好ましい。樹脂フィルムの厚さは、通常30〜500μmである。
構成(B)の車両窓用合わせガラスにおいては、赤外線反射膜付きフィルムは2枚の中間膜の間に封入される。この場合、それぞれの中間膜の厚さは、構成(A)の車両窓用合わせガラスに用いる中間膜の半分の厚さ(通常は0.38mm)とされる。
構成(B)の車両窓用合わせガラスの製造方法は特に制限されないが、たとえば、車外側ガラス板とする第1のガラス板の上に、通常の第1中間膜、赤外線反射膜付きフィルム、赤外線遮蔽性微粒子分散中間膜、車内側ガラス板とする第2のガラス板を重ね合わせ、仮接着した後、オートクレーブで接着する方法によることができる。
本発明においては、吸収率=1−(透過率+反射率)とした。また、シュミレーションによる実施例は、ガラス板に各被膜を構成する材料を単層で成膜したサンプルについて、各波長における屈折率および各波長における消衰係数を測定して得られたデータをもとに行った。
100mm×100mm(例1〜3)、200mm×200mm(例4〜6)、約1200mm×約1650mm(例7、8)の寸法で、厚さ2mmのガラス板を3種類用意した。3種類のガラス板の内訳は以下の通りである。例7、8については、上記サイズのガラス板に赤外線反射膜を成膜した後、100mm×100mmの大きさに切り出したサンプルを用いて、赤外線反射ガラスとしての評価、合せガラスの製造、合わせガラスとしての評価を行った。また、ガラス板そのものの分光特性の評価も100mm×100mmのサンプルを用いて行った。
(1)無色透明ソーダライムシリカガラス(旭硝子社製、以下、FL1という)、
(2)無色透明ソーダライムシリカガラス(グラバーベル社製、以下、FL2という)、
(3)紫外線吸収性能を有するグリーン系有色透明ソーダライムシリカガラス(旭硝子社製、以下「UVFL1」という)。
なお、これらのガラス板について、分光光度計(日立製作所社製、U4100)により波長300〜2100nmの間の透過率、反射率を測定し、JIS R3106の規定に従い、可視光透過率Tv(%)、日射透過率Te(%)、可視光反射率Rv(%)、日射反射率Re(%)を求めた。結果を表3に示す。
図1に示す構成の赤外線反射膜付きガラス板20を、以下に示す膜構成で8種類(膜例1〜8)用意した。カッコ内の数字は各被膜の幾何学的厚さ(nm)を示す。また、膜例1〜8で用いた材料の屈折率を表4に示す。これらの値はいずれも波長550nmにおける値であり、熱処理がなされていない状態での値である。

組成の測定はRBS(Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry)とNRA(Nuclear Reaction Analysis)とを併用する方法によった。この方法によれば組成を直接測定することができ、誤差は±10%程度である。
膜例1〜6の赤外線反射膜は、ガラス板の上にTiOxNy層とSiO2層とをこの順に計5層順次積層することによって製造した。
真空槽内にTiOx(1<x<2)ターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとしてアルゴンガスと窒素ガスとの混合ガスを導入した。このとき、圧力は7.0×10−1Paとなった。この状態で、DCパルス電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した第2のガラス板(FL)の上に、TiOxNy膜を形成させた。なお、膜例1〜6のスパッタガスとしては、それぞれ次のような混合ガスを用いた。膜例1;アルゴンガス90sccm、窒素ガス10sccm、膜例2、4〜6;アルゴンガス95sccm、窒素ガス5sccm、膜例3;アルゴンガス80sccm、窒素ガス20sccm。
真空槽内にSiCターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとしてアルゴンガス40sccmと酸素ガス60sccmとの混合ガスを導入した。このとき、圧力は6.0×10−1Paとなった。この状態で、DCパルス電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した被処理体の被膜(1)の上に、SiO2膜を形成させた。
膜例7、8の赤外線反射膜は以下に示す手順に従い、ガラス板にZrO2膜、TiOxNy膜、SiO2膜、ZrO2膜、TiOxNy膜、SiO2膜、TiO2膜を順次成膜することによって得た。
真空槽内にZrターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとして酸素ガスとアルゴンガスを70:30の割合(容量比)で、圧力が4.0×10-1Paとなるまで導入した。この状態で、DCパルス電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した被処理体の上に、ZrO2層を形成させた。
真空槽内にTiOx(1<x<2)ターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとしてアルゴンガスと窒素ガスと酸素ガスを70:13:17の割合(容量比)で、圧力が4.0×10-1Paとなるまで導入した。この状態で、DC電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した被処理体の上に、TiOxNy層を形成させた。
真空槽内にSiターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとしてアルゴンガスと酸素ガスを39:61の割合(容量比)で、圧力は4.0×10-1Paとなるまで導入した。この状態で、AC電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した被処理体の上に、SiO2層を形成させた。
真空槽内にTiOx(1<x<2)ターゲットをスパッタターゲットとしてカソード上に設置し、真空槽を1.3×10-3Pa以下となるまで排気した。ついで、スパッタガスとしてアルゴンガスと酸素ガスを30:70の割合(容量比)で、圧力は4.0×10-1Paとなるまで導入した。この状態で、DC電源を用いて反応性スパッタリング法を行い、真空槽内に設置した被処理体の上に、TiO2層を形成させた。
図1に示す構成の合わせガラスを製造した。第1のガラス板11は先に用意したUVFLガラス板、第2のガラス板12は先に用意したFLガラス板であり膜例1〜8の赤外線反射膜21を有する。中間膜30には、クールベール(旭硝子社製、登録商標)で使用されているITO微粒子が分散配合されたPVB中間膜を用いた。以下、膜例1を有する合わせガラスを例1の合わせガラスといい、他の例も同様とする。このPVB中間膜は、厚さが0.76mmであった。また、ITO微粒子は粒子径40nm以上の粒子の含有率が10質量%であるものを用い、その含有率は、PVB中間膜に対して0.2質量%であった。
特許文献2に記載された実施例5に準じた構成の合わせガラスにつき、シュミレーションによって分光特性を評価した。例12の合わせガラスの構成は以下の通りである。なお、GZOは、酸化亜鉛に酸化ガリウムを3〜5%添加した材料である。
FL1(2mm)/GZO(14nm)/TiN(5.45nm)/GZO(4nm)/ITO微粒子分散中間膜(0.76mm)/FL1(2mm)。
図12に(分光透過率を示すグラフ:図12(a)、分光反射率を示すグラフ:図12(b)、分光吸収率を示すグラフ:図12(c);縦軸はそれぞれ透過率、反射率、吸収率(%)、横軸は波長(nm))を示す。
なお、2005年8月16日に出願された日本特許出願2005−235726号、および2005年9月2日に出願された日本特許出願2005−254904号の明細書、特許請求の範囲、図面及び要約書の全内容をここに引用し、本発明の明細書の開示として、取り入れるものである。
Claims (14)
- 第1のガラス板と、シート抵抗値が1kΩ/□以上の赤外線反射膜を有する第2のガラス板と、第1のガラス板と第2のガラス板との聞に介在され赤外線遮蔽性微粒子が分散配合された中間膜とを備え、第1のガラス板が車内側に配される車両窓用合わせガラスであって、前記赤外線反射膜が、屈折率が1.90以上の高屈折率無機質材料からなる被膜(1)と屈折率が1.56以下の低屈折率無機質材料からなる被膜(2)とがガラス板側からこの順に交互に積層された積層被膜(X)を有し、前記被膜(1)の数と前記被膜(2)の数の合計が3以上であり、前記被膜(1)の幾何学的厚さが70〜150nmであり、前記被膜(2)の幾何学的厚さが100〜200nmであり、積層被膜(X)の非ガラス板側に無機質材料からなる多層構造の薄膜(Y)を有し、薄膜(Y)は積層被膜(X)と互いに接しており、かつ薄膜(Y)は屈折率が1.90以上の高屈折率無機質材料からなる幾何学的厚さが5〜40nmの高屈折率層(c)と屈折率が1.56以下の低屈折率無機質材料からなる幾何学的厚さが5〜40nmの低屈折率層(d)とが交互に積層された合計層数が偶数の多層薄膜からなり、積層被膜(X)の被膜(1)に接する層が低屈折率層(d)であることを特徴とする、自動車窓用合わせガラス。
- 被膜(1)の少なくとも1つが、酸化チタンまたは酸窒化チタンの単層膜(1a)である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 被膜(1)の少なくとも1つが、異なる種類の高屈折無機質材料からなる2層以上の多層構造からなる高屈折多層膜(1b)であり、当該高屈折多層膜(1b)の少なくとも1つの層が酸化チタンまたは酸窒化チタンの層である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 高屈折多層膜(1b)の少なくとも1つの層が酸化チタンまたは酸窒化チタンの層であり、当該高屈折多層膜(1b)の他の少なくとも1つの層が酸化ジルコニウムの層である、請求項3に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 積層被膜(X)が、酸化ジルコニウムの層と酸化チタンまたは酸窒化チタンの層とを含む幾何学的厚さの合計が70〜150nmの高屈折率多層被膜(1b−1)の2つと、当該2つの高屈折率多層被膜(1b−1)の聞に存在する被膜(2)とからなる、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 被膜(2)が酸化ケイ素の層である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 薄膜(Y)の高屈折率層(c)が酸化チタンの層であり、薄膜(Y)の低屈折率層(d)が酸化ケイ素の層である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 薄膜(Y)の高屈折率層(c)の幾何学的厚みが7〜11nmであり、薄膜(Y)の低屈折率層(d)の幾何学的厚みが25〜35nmである、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 第2のガラス板側から入射する光について、900〜1100nmにあるすべての波長の光の反射率が30〜50%、1100〜1300nmにあるすべての波長の光の吸収率が35〜60%、900〜1500nmにあるすべての波長の光の透過率が30%以下である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 第2のガラス板側から入射する光について、900〜1100nmにあるすべての波長の光の反射率が30〜50%、1100〜1300nmにあるすべての波長の光の吸収率が40〜60%、900〜1500nmにあるすべての波長の光の透過率が30%以下である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 第2のガラス板側から入射する光について、波長900nmの光の反射率が20〜40%、1000〜1100nmにあるすべての波長の光の反射率が30〜50%、1100〜1300nmにあるすべての波長の光の吸収率が35〜60%、900〜1500nmにあるすべての波長の光の透過率が30%以下である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 第2のガラス板側から入射する光について、900〜1100nmにあるすべての波長の光の吸収率が30〜50%である、請求項9に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 第2のガラス板側から入射する光について、1100〜1300nmにあるすべての波長の光の反射率が20〜40%である、請求項9に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
- 可視光透過率が70%以上である、請求項1に記載の車両窓用合わせガラス。
