Claims (5)
- 一対の基板の間に液晶材料が封入された液晶表示パネルを有する液晶表示装置であって、
前記一対の基板のうちの一方の基板は、複数本の走査信号線と、絶縁層を介して前記複数本の走査信号線と立体的に交差する映像信号線と、絶縁層を介して前記走査信号線或いは前記映像信号線と立体的に交差する共通信号線を有し、
表示領域の外側に配置され、かつ、前記共通信号線に電気信号を供給するバスラインを有し、
前記走査信号線または前記映像信号線は、絶縁層を介して前記バスラインと立体的に交差する交差領域を形成し、
前記バスラインは、平面でみて前記交差領域以外の領域に複数の開口部を有し、前記開口部によって前記バスラインが複数に分岐され、
前記各交差領域の間に、前記走査信号線あるいは前記映像信号線と重複しない位置であり且つ前記バスラインと重畳する位置に、絶縁層を介して導電膜が形成され、当該導電膜は、前記絶縁膜に形成された複数のスルーホールを介して分岐された複数の前記バスラインと電気的に接続されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記開口部は、矩形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記開口部間のバスラインの線幅のうちの、前記スルーホールが形成されている部分の線幅は、他の部分の線幅よりも太いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 2本の隣接する前記走査信号線および2本の隣接する前記映像信号線で定義される画素領域のそれぞれは、TFT素子、画素電極、および対向電極を有し、
前記対向電極は、前記走査信号線および前記映像信号線とともに前記一方の基板に形成されており、
前記導電膜は、前記対向電極に電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 2本の隣接する前記走査信号線および2本の隣接する前記映像信号線で定義される画素領域のそれぞれは、TFT素子、画素電極、および対向電極を有し、
前記対向電極は、前記一対の基板のうちの前記走査信号線および前記映像信号線を有する前記一方の基板とは異なる基板に形成されており、
前記一方の基板は、保持容量線を有し、
前記導電膜は、前記保持容量線に電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
