Description
本実施形態は、図1に示すように、調湿装置に吸着熱交換器(20)を設けたものである。この調湿装置は、除湿した空気を室内へ供給する除湿運転と、加湿した空気を室内へ供給する加湿運転とが可能に構成されている。
上述のように、第1吸着部材(11)及び第2吸着部材(12)は、それぞれが吸着熱交換器(20)によって構成されている。この吸着熱交換器(20)について、図2、図3及び図4を参照しながら説明する。
ここで、上記調湿装置の運転動作について説明する。上記調湿装置は、除湿運転と加湿運転とを行う。この調湿装置は、除湿運転中と加湿運転中の何れにおいても、第1動作と第2動作を所定の時間間隔(例えば3分間隔)で交互に繰り返す。
先ず、第1動作について説明する。第1動作中には、第1吸着部材(11)へ第2空気が、第2吸着部材(12)へ第1空気がそれぞれ送り込まれる。第1動作中の冷媒回路(10)では、四方切換弁(14)が第1状態に設定される。圧縮機(13)を運転すると、冷媒回路(10)で冷媒が循環して冷凍サイクルが行われる。その際、冷媒回路(10)では、第1吸着部材(11)が凝縮器として動作し、第2吸着部材(12)が蒸発器として動作する。
次に、第2動作について説明する。第2動作中には、第1吸着部材(11)へ第1空気が、第2吸着部材(12)へ第2空気がそれぞれ送り込まれる。第2動作中の冷媒回路(10)では、四方切換弁(14)が第2状態に設定される。圧縮機(13)を運転すると、冷媒回路(10)で冷媒が循環して冷凍サイクルが行われる。その際、冷媒回路(10)では、第2吸着部材(12)が凝縮器として動作し、第1吸着部材(11)が蒸発器として動作する。
次に、上記吸着熱交換器(20)の製造方法について図5に基づき詳細に説明する。この吸着熱交換器(20)の製造方法では、調製工程と塗布工程と乾燥工程とが行われる。上記塗布工程と乾燥工程は、交互に繰り返し行われる。
そこで、上記吸着剤層(30)の比較例について説明する。この比較のスラリー(32)は、例えば、図6(B)に示すように、吸着剤(31)が100質量部、バインダー(33)が30質量部、水が30質量部の他、追加溶媒(34)としての水が320質量部である。水系樹脂(35)を構成するバインダー(33)及び水の他に、所定粘度にするための水を追加すると共に、吸着剤(31)が吸収する量を考慮して追加溶媒(34)としての水が320質量部となる。したがって、水350質量部が溶媒(34)を構成している。
本実施形態の吸着熱交換器(20)によれば、ひび割れのない吸着剤層(30)とすることができる。また、塗り斑のない吸着剤層(30)とすることができるので、吸着剤層(30)の全体に亘って吸湿性能の均一化を図ることができる。また、バインダー(33)が吸着剤(31)を覆うバインダー被覆率を低くすることができるので、水の吸収性能の向上を図ることができる。
上記実施形態では、吸着熱交換器(20)の熱交換器本体(25)が、図10に示すようなラジエータ型のアルミニウム製の熱交換器であってもよい。本変形例の熱交換器本体(25)には、アルミニウム製の伝熱管(27)と、同じくアルミニウム製のフィン(26)とが複数ずつ設けられている。また、この熱交換器本体(25)には、二つのヘッダ(41,42)が設けられている。そして、本変形例の吸着熱交換器(20)では、この熱交換器本体(25)を構成する伝熱管(27)、フィン(26)、及びヘッダ(41,42)の表面に吸着剤層(30)が形成されている。

Claims (6)
- 吸湿することにより膨潤し且つ放湿することにより収縮してこの膨潤と収縮とを繰り返す吸着剤(31)が熱交換器本体(25)における少なくとも多数のフィン(26)の表面に担持された熱交換器であって、
原料粉末である多数の粒子状の吸着剤(31)を収縮状態で含み且つ溶媒(34)がアルコールを主成分とすると共に、バインダー(33)と水とを含む水系樹脂(35)が配合されたスラリー(32)を上記熱交換器本体(25)の少なくともフィン(26)の表面に塗布し、上記スラリー(32)を乾燥させると共に、上記塗布と乾燥とを繰り返して上記熱交換器本体(25)の少なくともフィン(26)の表面に上記吸着剤(31)を含有する吸着剤層(30)が形成されている
ことを特徴とする熱交換器。 - 請求項1において、
上記スラリー(32)は、吸着剤(31)が100質量部に対して水が10質量部〜50質量部である
ことを特徴とする熱交換器。 - 請求項2において、
上記スラリー(32)は、吸着剤(31)が100質量部に対して水が20質量部〜40質量部である
ことを特徴とする熱交換器。 - 吸湿することにより膨潤し且つ放湿することにより収縮してこの膨潤と収縮とを繰り返す吸着剤(31)が熱交換器本体(25)における少なくとも多数のフィン(26)の表面に担持された熱交換器の製造方法であって、
原料粉末である多数の粒子状の吸着剤(31)を収縮状態で含み且つ溶媒(34)がアルコールを主成分とすると共に、バインダー(33)と水とを含む水系樹脂(35)が配合されたスラリー(32)を準備し、該スラリー(32)を上記熱交換器本体(25)の少なくともフィン(26)の表面に塗布する塗布工程と、
続いて、上記スラリー(32)を乾燥させて上記熱交換器本体(25)の少なくともフィン(26)の表面に上記吸着剤(31)を含有する吸着剤層(30)を形成する乾燥工程とを備え、
上記塗布工程の塗布と上記乾燥工程の乾燥とを繰り返す
ことを特徴とする熱交換器の製造方法。 - 請求項4において、
上記スラリー(32)は、吸着剤(31)が100質量部に対して水が10質量部〜50質量部である
ことを特徴とする熱交換器の製造方法。 - 請求項5において、
上記スラリー(32)は、吸着剤(31)が100質量部に対して水が20質量部〜40質量部である
ことを特徴とする熱交換器の製造方法。
