Description
衝撃ビームはまた、通常は衝撃中に圧縮荷重を受ける場所に、金属部を備えていてもよい。米国特許第5,290,079号明細書はこのような衝撃ビームの一例を提示している。米国特許第5,290,079号明細書において、衝撃ビームは衝撃ビームの延性と可撓性を改良するために、織物金網を備えている。

1×n型式のコンパクトコード、すなわち、n本(nは8よりも大きい数字)の金属ワイヤを単一のステップで一方向のみに撚ることによってコンパクトな断面が得られる金属コード、例えば、1×9×0.18または1×12×0.18(最後の数字はmm単位で表される各ワイヤの直径)の金属コード、
l+m(+n)型式の層状金属コード、すなわち、l本のワイヤのコアがm本のワイヤの層で包囲され、可能であればn本のワイヤの他の層によってさらに包囲される金属コード、例えば、2+4×0.18(最後の数字はmm単位で表される各ワイヤの直径)の金属コード、
1×m型式の単一のストランド金属コード、すなわち、m本(mは2から6の範囲内の数字)の金属ワイヤが単一ステップで撚られる金属コード、例えば、1×4×0.25(最後の数字はmm単位で表される各ワイヤの直径mm)の金属コード、
m+n型式のオープン金属コード、すなわち、米国特許第4,408,444号明細書に開示されているようなm本の金属ワイヤがn本の金属ワイヤによって包囲される金属コード、例えば、2+2×0.25(最後の数字はmm単位で表される各ワイヤの直径)の金属コード
を挙げることができる。
高延伸または延伸金属コード(HEコード)、すなわち、必要な程度の弾力性を有する弾性コードを得るための大きな撚りを有する多重ストランドまたは単一ストランド金属コード、(多重ストランド金属コードの場合、ストランドの撚りの方向はコードのストランドの撚りの方向と等しい:SSまたはZZ、これは所謂ラング撚りである)、例えば、SS方向に4.5mmおよび8mmの撚り長さで撚られる3×7×0.22の高延伸金属コード、
欧州特許出願公開第0790349A1号明細書に開示されているような応力除去処理が施された金属コード、例えば、2×0.33+6×0.33のSSコード、
高延伸金属コードの代わりにまたはそれに付け加えて、波状に弾性変形された1つ以上のワイヤを含む金属コード(この波状の性質によって、伸びが付加的に増加する。波状パターンの一例は国際公開第99/28547A1号パンフレットに開示されているような螺旋または空間的波形である)
を挙げることができる。

金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープとポリマー素地シートを一緒にし、金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープとポリマー素地シートを型に供給するステップと、
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープとポリマー素地シートを成形し、衝撃ビームを得るステップと、
衝撃ビームを冷却するステップと
を含む。
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを供給するステップと、
ポリマー材料を押出し、押出されたポリマー材料を金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープに供給するステップと、
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープとポリマー素地シートを成形し、衝撃ビームを得るステップと、
衝撃ビームを冷却するステップと
を含む。
繊維ストランドおよび/または強化布地を供給するステップと、
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを供給するステップと、
繊維ストランドおよび/または強化布地と金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを未硬化または十分に硬化されていないポリマー材料の浴内に通すことによって、未硬化または十分に硬化されていないポリマー材料を繊維ストランドおよび/または補強布地と金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープに設けるステップと、
繊維ストランドおよび/または補強布地、金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープ、および未硬化または十分に硬化されていないポリマー材料を加熱された引抜成形金型内を通して引き抜くことによって、繊維ストランドおよび/または補強布地、金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープ、および未硬化または十分に硬化されていないポリマー材料を硬化させ、引抜成形物品を得るステップと、
引抜成形物品を各長さに切断し、衝撃ビームを得るステップと
を含む。
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを供給するステップと、
金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを押出成形型に供給し、金属コードおよび/または金属コードテープを型内に配置するステップと、
ポリマー材料を押出成形型内に供給し、衝撃ビームを得るステップと、
衝撃ビームを冷却するステップと
を含む。
金属コード構成の種類にもよるが、比較的大きな衝撃エネルギーが典型的にはその金属コード構成の衝撃吸収機構によって吸収されるとよい。
Claims (10)
- ポリマー素地と金属補強構造体を備える衝撃ビームにおいて、前記金属補強構造体は金属コードを備え、
前記金属コードは、100μmと等しいかまたはそれよりも大きい直径を有する金属要素を備え、
前記金属コードは、さらに200μmよりも大きい光学直径を有し、
前記ポリマー素地は少なくとも2つの層を備え、
埋設層を構成する第1層は前記金属コードの表面の周囲に存在し、
容積層を構成する第2層は前記第1層の周囲に存在し、
前記金属コードは、前記ポリマー素地の埋設層を構成する前記第1層に接合し、
衝撃力が、前記ポリマー素地と前記金属コードとの間で直接に伝達されることを特徴とする衝撃ビーム。 - 前記第1層は熱可塑性エラストマ、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリフェニレン酸化物、およびポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリフェニレン酸化物の混合物からなる群から選択されるポリマー材料から作成される特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記第2層は熱可塑性エラストマ、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリフェニレン酸化物、およびポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリフェニレン酸化物の混合物からなる群から選択されるポリマー材料から作成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記金属コードは前記ポリマー素地との機械的結合部を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記金属コードは前記ポリマー素地との化学的結合部を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記ポリマー素地はガラス繊維または炭素繊維、ポリマー繊維、および/または鉱物充填材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記金属コードは鋼コードであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記金属コードは本質的に互いに平行であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 前記金属コードは1つ以上の面に配置され、前記面は本質的に互いに平行であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビーム。
- 車両のバンパを支持し、または車両の車体の衝撃抵抗を改善するための請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載の衝撃ビームの使用。
