Description
[1](a)エチレン単位を30〜60重量%、(b)プロピレン単位を30〜60重量%、(c)ブテン単位を2〜10重量%、(d)(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単位を0〜10重量%および(e)(メタ)アクリル酸単位を5〜15重量%含有する重合体(x)または重合体組成物(y)(但し、成分単位(a)〜(e)の合計を100重量%とする)のカリウムアイオノマーであって、そのカリウムイオン密度が0.5〜1.5mmol/gの範囲にあるカリウムアイオノマー。
[2][1]に記載のカリウムアイオノマー(A)100未満〜2重量部と、
カリウムアイオノマー(A)以外の熱可塑性樹脂またはエラストマー(B)0超〜98重量部(但し、カリウムアイオノマーと、熱可塑性樹脂またはエラストマーとの合計を100重量部とする)とを含有する樹脂組成物。
[3]前記熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリオレフィンである[2]に記載の樹脂組成物。
[4]前記熱可塑性樹脂が、プロピレン単独重合体またはプロピレン共重合体である[2]または[3]に記載の樹脂組成物。
[5]前記樹脂組成物中の(メタ)アクリル酸残基の含有量が0.1〜15重量%であり、またそのカリウムイオン密度が0.01〜1.5mmol/gの範囲にあることを特徴とする[2]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物。
[6]23℃、相対湿度(RH)50%における表面抵抗率が1.0E+11Ω/sq以下である[1]〜[5]のいずれかに記載のカリウムアイオノマーまたは樹脂組成物。

本発明のカリウムアイオノマーは、モノマー単位(a)〜(e)を下記の含有量で含有する重合体または重合体組成物中に含まれるモノマー単位(e)のカルボキシル基の一部または全部がカリウム(イオン)によって中和されてなり、そのカリウムイオン密度が0.5〜1.5mmol/gの範囲にあるものである。
本発明における重合体または重合体組成物は下記モノマー単位(a)〜(e)を下記の含有量で含有する重合体または重合体組成物である。
(a)エチレン単位30〜60重量%、(好ましくは30〜50重量%)
(b)プロピレン単位30〜60重量%、(好ましくは40〜60重量%)
(c)ブテン単位2〜10重量(好ましくは3〜8重量%)
(d)(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単位0〜10重量%、(好ましくは0〜5重量%)
(e)(メタ)アクリル酸単位(b5)5〜15重量%、(好ましくは7〜14重量%)
〔但し、モノマー単位(a)〜(e)の合計を100重量%とする〕
本発明において重合体(x)は、単独の共重合体を意味し、重合体組成物(y)は2種以上の重合体もしくは共重合体の組成物(混合物)を意味する。すなわち、本発明において重合体(x)とは、モノマー単位(a)〜(e)を上記の含有量で含有する共重合体を意味し、重合体組成物(y)とはモノマー単位(a)〜(e)の中から選ばれる1種または2種以上のモノマー単位を有する単独重合体または共重合体を2種以上含有する組成物であって組成物全体として(a)〜(e)を上記含有量で含有する組成物を意味する。
(i)モノマー単位(a)〜(e)(但し(d)は任意成分)を導く各々のモノマーを高圧重合により共重合したポリマーのカルボキシル基の一部または全部をカリウムイオンで中和する方法。
(ii)モノマー単位(a)〜(d)(但し(d)は任意成分)を導く各々のモノマー1種以上と、モノマー単位(e)を導くモノマーとの共重合体のカルボキシル基の一部または全部をカリウムイオンで中和したカリウムアイオノマーと、モノマー単位(a)〜(d)を導く各々のモノマー1種以上を共重合したポリマーとを混合する方法。
(iii)モノマー単位(a)〜(d)(但し(d)は任意成分)を導く各モノマー1種以上と、モノマー単位(e)を導くモノマーとの共重合体と、モノマー単位(a)〜(d)(但し(d)は任意成分)を導く各モノマー1種以上の重合体とからなる組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部または全部をカリウムイオンで中和する方法。
本発明に係る熱可塑性樹脂またはエラストマーとしては、カリウムアイオノマー以外の熱可塑性樹脂またはエラストマーであり、具体的には高圧法ポリエチレン、線状低密度ポリエチレン(例えばメタロセン触媒を用いて製造されたポリエチレンなど)、中密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ−1−ブテンおよびポリ−4−メチル−1−ペンテンのようなオレフィンの単独重合体または共重合体;エチレンと、酢酸ビニルおよびプロピオン酸ビニルなどのビニルエステルならびにアクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸イソプロピル、アクリル酸n−ブチル、アクリル酸イソブチル、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル、メタクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸エチルおよびマレイン酸ジメチルなどの不飽和カルボン酸エステルなどの不飽和エステルとの共重合体;炭素数2〜12のα−オレフィン2種以上を共重合してなる結晶化度(X線回折法)が40%以下の非結晶性もしくは低結晶性のα−オレフィン系共重合体、例えばエチレンと、炭素数3〜12のα−オレフィンとの非結晶性もしくは低結晶性のランダム共重合体;ポリスチレン;AS樹脂、ABS樹脂、スチレン・ブタジエンブロック共重合体およびスチレン・ブタジエン・スチレンブロック共重合体ならびにそれらの水素添加物;スチレン・イソプレンブロック共重合体およびスチレン・イソプレン・スチレンブロック共重合体ならびにそれらの水素添加物;ナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン610、ナイロン11、ナイロン12、ナイロン6・66、ナイロン6・12およびナイロン6TIなどのポリアミド;ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリトリメチレンテレフタレートおよびポリテトラメチレンテレフタレートなどのポリエステル;ポリカーボネート;ポリアセタール;ポリフェニレンエーテル;アクリル樹脂;ならびにポリ塩化ビニルなどが挙げられる。
本発明の樹脂組成物は、カリウムアイオノマー(A)と、熱可塑性樹脂またはエラストマー(B)と、必要に応じてその他の添加剤などを同時または逐次にドライブレンドまたはメルトブレンドすることにより得られる。ドライブレンドする場合には、ヘンシェルミキサーおよびタンブラーミキサーなどの各種ミキサーを用いることができる。メルトブレンドする場合には、一軸もしくは二軸押出機、バンバリーミキサー、ロールおよびニーダーなどの混練装置を用い、140〜230℃の温度で混練することにより得られる。
本発明のカリウムアイオノマーまたは樹脂組成物は、フィルム(未延伸フィルム)、シート、パイプ、繊維およびその他の成形品など、種々の形状に成形することができる。例えば、未延伸フィルムはキャスト成形およびインフレ成形などによって製造することができ、シートおよびその他の成形品は射出成形およびブロー成形などの公知の方法によって製造することができる。なお、未延伸フィルムの厚みは通常1〜500μm程度である。
本発明のカリウムアイオノマーまたは樹脂組成物は、単層の未延伸フィルムまたはシートとして使用する以外に、例えば、本発明の樹脂組成物同士を積層し、または該樹脂組成物とその他の材料とを積層して、本発明の樹脂組成物からなる未延伸フィルム層を少なくとも一層有する多層積層体とすることができる。このとき、上記その他の材料としては、各種重合体、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステルおよびポリアミドなどの熱可塑性樹脂のほか、熱可塑性エラストマー、熱硬化性樹脂、粘着剤、紙、金属、織布、不織布、木材およびセラミックスなどが用いられる。その他の材料として熱可塑性樹脂を用いる場合、熱可塑性樹脂からなる層(フィルム)は未延伸でもよく、一軸もしくは二軸延伸していてもよい。なかでも、上記未延伸フィルム層の片面または両面にポリオレフィンフィルム層を積層してなる多層積層体が好ましい。
以下、実施例により本発明をさらに詳細に説明する。なお、カリウムアイオノマーを含有する樹脂組成物の物性評価方法(測定方法)は、下記の通りである。
試料を所定の温度および湿度条件で24時間保管後に三菱化学社製ハイレスタ UP(プローブ:URS)で測定した。
23℃、50%RHで24時間保管した試料を、米国ETS社製Static Decay Meter Model 4060を用い、印加電圧+5000Vから+500Vへ減衰(10%)する時間を帯電減衰時間として測定した。
Haze Meterを用い、試験片1枚の鋼線透過率をJIS K 7105に準拠して測定した。
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体にプロピレン・α−オレフィン共重合体を配合して、下記の成分組成を有する重合体組成物を調製し、該重合体組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部をカリウムイオンで中和することにより、カリウムアイオノマー(以下、「KIO−A」という。)を得た(カリウムイオン濃度:0.86mmol/g、MFR(230℃、2160g荷重):5.9g/10分、密度:932kg/m3)。

[実施例2]
熱可塑性樹脂として、ホモポリプロピレン樹脂(mp161℃、MFR(JIS K−7210に準拠;230℃、2160g荷重)3g/10分)(以下、「PP−1」という。)を80重量部、および、KIO−Aを20重量部をドライブレンドし、これをキャスト成形装置(40mmφ)を用いて230℃で押し出し、厚さ50μmの未延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムの曇り度(haze)、表面抵抗率および帯電減衰時間を測定した。
実施例2において、PP−1を70重量部およびKIO−Aを30重量部に変えた以外は、実施例2と同様にして未延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムの曇り度(haze)、表面抵抗率および帯電減衰時間を測定した。
熱可塑性樹脂として、ランダム共重合プロピレン樹脂(mp139℃、MFR(230℃,2160g荷重)7g/10分)(以下、「PP−2」という。)を70重量部、および、KIO−Aを30重量部をドライブレンドし、これをキャスト成形装置(40mmφ)を用いて230℃で押し出し、厚さ50μmの未延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムの曇り度(haze)、表面抵抗率および帯電減衰時間を測定した。
KIO−Aをプレス成形機を用い、210℃でプレスし、厚さ1mmのプレスシートを得た。
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸単位含量20重量%)と、プロピレン・エチレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン単位含量95.6重量%、エチレン単位含量2.4重量%、1−ブテン単位含量2.0重量%)と、プロピレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン含量72重量%、1−ブテン含量28重量%)とを溶融混合して、下記の成分組成を有する重合体組成物を調製し、該重合体組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部をカリウムイオンで中和することにより、カリウムアイオノマー(以下「KIO−B」という。)を得た(カリウムイオン濃度:0.86mmol/g、MFR(230℃、2160g荷重):5.9g/10分、密度:932kg/m3)。

[実施例7]
熱可塑性樹脂として、ホモポリプロピレン樹脂(mp161℃、MFR(JIS K−7210に準拠;230℃、2160g荷重)3g/10分)(以下、「PP−1」という。)を80重量部、および、KIO−Bを20重量部をドライブレンドし、これをキャスト成形装置(40mmφ)を用いて230℃で押し出し、厚さ50μmの未延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムの曇り度(haze)、表面抵抗率および帯電減衰時間を測定した。
実施例7において、PP−1を70重量部およびKIO−Bを30重量部に変えた以外は、実施例7と同様にして未延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムの曇り度(haze)、表面抵抗率および帯電減衰時間を測定した。

KIO−Bをプレス成形機を用い、210℃でプレスし、厚さ1mmのプレスシートを得た。
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸単位含量20重量%)と、プロピレン・エチレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン単位含量95.6重量%、エチレン単位含量2.4重量%、1−ブテン単位含量2.0重量%)と、プロピレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン含量72重量%、1−ブテン含量28重量%)とを溶融混合して、下記の成分組成を有する重合体組成物を調製し、該重合体組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部をカリウムイオンで中和することにより、カリウムアイオノマー(以下「KIO−C」という。)を得た(カリウムイオン濃度:0.87mmol/g、MFR(230℃、2160g荷重):5.5g/10分、密度:937kg/m3)。
(a)エチレン単位 41.9重量%
(b)プロピレン単位 45.1重量%
(c)1−ブテン単位 3.7重量%
(e)メタクリル酸単位 9.3重量%
KIO−Cをプレス成形機を用い、210℃でプレスし、厚さ1mmのプレスシートを得た。シートの表面抵抗率(Ω/sq)の測定結果を表2に示す。
エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸単位含量20重量%)と、プロピレン・エチレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン単位含量95.6重量%、エチレン単位含量2.4重量%、1−ブテン単位含量2.0重量%)と、プロピレン・1−ブテンランダム共重合体(プロピレン含量72重量%、1−ブテン含量28重量%)とを溶融混合して、下記の成分組成を有する重合体組成物を調製し、該重合体組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部をカリウムイオンで中和することにより、カリウムアイオノマー(以下「KIO−D」という。)を得た(カリウムイオン濃度:0.90mmol/g、MFR(230℃、2160g荷重):5.0g/10分、密度:936kg/m3)。
(a)エチレン単位 41.9重量%
(b)プロピレン単位 45.1重量%
(c)1−ブテン単位 3.7重量%
(e)メタクリル酸単位 9.3重量%
KIO−Dをプレス成形機を用い、210℃でプレスし、厚さ1mmのプレスシートを得た。シートの表面抵抗率(Ω/sq)の測定結果を表2に示す。
Claims (7)
- (a)エチレン単位を30〜60重量%、(b)プロピレン単位を30〜60重量%、(c)ブテン単位を2〜10重量%、(d)(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単位を0〜10重量%および(e)(メタ)アクリル酸単位を5〜15重量%含有する重合体または重合体組成物(但し、成分単位(a)〜(e)の合計を100重量%とする)からなり、そのカリウムイオン密度が0.5〜1.5mmol/gの範囲にあるカリウムアイオノマー(A)100未満〜2重量部と、
ポリオレフィン(B)(カリウムアイオノマー(A)を除く)0超〜98重量部(但し、カリウムアイオノマー(A)と、ポリオレフィン(B)との合計を100重量部とする)とを含有する樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリオレフィン(B)が、プロピレン単独重合体またはプロピレン共重合体である請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記樹脂組成物中の(メタ)アクリル酸残基の含有量が0.1〜15重量%であり、カリウムイオン密度が0.01〜1.5mmol/gの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物から形成される未延伸フィルム、シートまたは成形体。
- 曇り度(haze)が20以下である請求項4に記載の未延伸フィルム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物から形成される未延伸フィルムよりなる層を少なくとも1層有する積層体。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物から形成される未延伸フィルムの片面あるいは両面にポリオレフィンフィルムを積層してなる積層体。
