Description
本発明は、請求項1の上位概念に記載の、液体を調量するため、特に内燃機関からの排気の後処理用の尿素水溶液を調量するための調量手段を備えた調量システムであって、液体が、通常運転圧送方向でリザーバタンクから調量手段を介して排気系統へ圧送可能である形式の調量システム、並びに請求項13の上位概念に記載の、液体を調量するため、特に内燃機関からの排気の後処理用の尿素水溶液を調量するための調量システムの作動法であって、液体を圧送方向で調量手段に圧送して排気系統に調量する形式の調量システムの作動法から出発する。
液体を調量するため、特に内燃機関からの排気を後処理するための尿素水溶液を調量するための調量手段を備えた調量システムを提案する。この場合、液体は通常運転圧送方向でリザーバタンクから調量手段を介して排気系統へ圧送可能であり、しかも、調量位置とリザーバタンクとの間の、液体供給される少なくとも1つの領域が、液体の通常運転圧送方向とは逆方向で空にされる。外気温が低い場合の不都合な氷形成による調量手段又は調量システムの損傷、特に装置内の過剰に高い氷圧力の形成が確実に防止される。更に、当該の液体用に熱的な調製ユニットが設けられている場合には、液体を特定の運転状態において調製ユニットの高温ゾーンから遠ざけることができると、不都合な後気化又は液体の1つ又は複数の成分の晶出を防止することができる。
以下に、本発明の実施例を図面につき詳しく説明する。
Claims (16)
- 液体を調量するための調量手段(12,30)を備えた調量システムであって、液体が、通常運転圧送方向(24)でリザーバタンク(10)から調量手段(12,30)を介して排気系統へ圧送可能である形式のものにおいて、
調量位置(33)とリザーバタンク(10)との間の、液体が供給される少なくとも1つの領域(14)が、液体の通常運転圧送方向(24)とは逆方向で空にされ、液体が、通常運転圧送方向(24)で調量弁(12)を介して直接に排気系統に圧送可能である形式のものにおいて、
液体を供給され且つ排出されるべき領域(14)が、圧送ポンプ(15)と調量弁(12)との間に配置されており、圧送ポンプ(15)が逆転可能な圧送方向を備えて形成されており、通常運転圧送方向(24)で見て調量弁(12)の上流側に、該調量弁(12)に隣接して通気弁(25)が設けられており、該通気弁(25)が、排出時にガスを吸い込むために開放可能であることを特徴とする、調量システム。 - 前記液体を調量するため調量手段(12,30)が、内燃機関からの排気の後処理用の尿素水溶液を調量するために用いられる、請求項1記載の調量システム。
- 圧送方向を逆転させるために少なくとも1つの弁が設けられている、請求項1又は2記載の調量システム。
- 調量弁(12)がパルス幅変調式で作動可能である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の調量システム。
- 液体を排気系統に圧送可能な調量ポンプ(30)が設けられている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の調量システム。
- 調量ポンプ(30)が蠕動ポンプとして形成されている、請求項5記載の調量システム。
- 調量ポンプ(30)が通常運転方向と逆方向に運転可能に形成されている、請求項5又は6記載の調量システム。
- 調量ポンプ(30)の圧送方向を逆転させるために少なくとも1つの弁が設けられている、請求項5又は6記載の調量システム。
- 調量ポンプ(30)と排気系統との間に、尿素溶液を気化しかつ排気系統に調量するための液体調製用の調製ユニット(31)が配置されている、請求項5から8までのいずれか1項記載の調量システム。
- 空にされるべき領域(14)が、調量ポンプ(30)と排気系統との間に配置されている、請求項5から9までのいずれか1項記載の調量システム。
- 液体を調量するための調量システムの作動法であって、液体を圧送方向(24)で調量手段(12,30)に圧送して排気系統に調量し、少なくとも調量位置(33)とリザーバタンク(10)との間の領域(14)を、一時的に通常運転圧送方向(24)とは逆方向で空にする形式のものにおいて、
圧送ポンプ(15)と調量弁(12)との間の領域(14)を空にするために、該圧送ポンプ(15)の回転方向を逆転させるか、又は適当な弁により圧送方向を逆転させ、
排出中に、圧送ポンプ(15)と調量弁(12)との間で、該調量弁(12)に隣接して配置された通気弁(25)を介して、通常運転圧送方向(24)とは逆方向で気体を吸い込むことを特徴とする、調量システムの作動法。 - 前記液体を調量するための調量システムが、内燃機関からの排気の後処理用の尿素水溶液を調量するために用いられる、請求項11記載の調量システムの作動法。
- 圧送ポンプ(15)の圧送方向を、回転方向逆転及び/又は弁の接続により逆転させる、請求項11又は12記載の作動法。
- 排出するためには調量弁(12)を閉じる、請求項11又は12記載の作動法。
- 排出後に調量弁(12)を排気系統に対して開放する、請求項11から14までのいずれか1項記載の作動法。
- 排出するためには調量ポンプ(30)の圧送方向を逆転させる、請求項11から15までのいずれか1項記載の作動法。
