Description
外径10.5mm、内径7.5mm、長さ100mmの円筒状であり、外表面の細孔径が0.1μmであるアルミナ製の筒状基体を用意した。この筒状基体の外表面に、厚さ約2μmのPd−Ag合金からなる水素分離膜(ガス分離膜)を形成することにより、図1に示すようなガス分離体7を作製した。ガス分離体7の一方の開口端部に環状金属フランジ4を配置し、銀(Ag)箔(融点=960℃)を、所定の厚さとなるように、環状金属フランジ4とガス分離膜8の表面に確実に接触するように巻き付けて仮固定した。一方、環状ストッパー3のスタフィングボックス15にパッキン(膨張黒鉛製のフォイル成形パッキン)6を収納し、環状パッキン押さえ2を軽くねじ込むことにより、パッキン6を仮固定して環状金属部材1を作製した。
使用した金属箔(接合層)の種類、形成される接合層の厚さ、及び熱処理温度を表1に示すようにしたこと以外は、前述の実施例1と同様の操作により、水素ガス分離体固定構造体30(実施例2〜10、比較例1〜6)を製造した。なお、BAg−8の融点は780℃である。
Claims (7)
- 筒状基体、及び前記筒状基体の少なくとも一の表面上に配設される、水素ガスを選択的に分離可能な第一の金属を含有するガス分離膜を有するガス分離体と、
前記ガス分離体の少なくとも一の開口端部に接続される金属フランジと、
前記ガス分離体と前記金属フランジが接続される部分の、前記ガス分離膜側の表面上に配設される、第二の金属を含有する厚さ20〜400μmの接合層と、
前記接合層上に配設されるパッキンと、
少なくともその一部が前記接合層に接触して配設され、前記パッキンを押圧して固定可能な金属部材と、を備え、
前記接合層が、前記第二の金属の融点未満の温度で熱処理されることにより前記ガス分離膜の表面上に配設された水素ガス分離体固定構造体。 - 前記第一の金属が、パラジウム、パラジウム合金、パラジウムと銀、又は銅を主成分とする金属である請求項1に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体。
- 前記第二の金属が、金、銀、白金、パラジウム、ニッケル、及び銅からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種である請求項1又は2に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体。
- 前記筒状基体が、多孔質のセラミック、金属、カーボン、又はこれらの混合物からなるものである請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体。
- 前記金属フランジが、ステンレス、インコネル、コバール、又はニッケル合金からなるものである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体。
- 前記接合層が、前記第二の金属の融点よりも50℃以上低い温度で熱処理されることにより前記ガス分離膜の表面上に配設された請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体。
- 圧力容器と、
前記圧力容器の内面に固定される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の水素ガス分離体固定構造体と、を備えた水素ガス分離装置。
