Claims (8)
- 基板と、
前記基板に対向して接合され、前記基板より面積の小さな、フィルム状の対向部材と、
前記基板と前記対向部材との間に位置する表示部と、
前記表示部の外周面に沿って前記基板と対向部材との間に介在し、前記基板と対向部材を接合するための接合部と、
前記対向部材の屈曲部分と、前記基板の接合部の外側で、前記基板と前記対向部材との面積が異なることに起因して生じる段差部とからなる段差部分に備えられた、コーティング材で形成された緩衝部材と、
前記基板の少なくとも一側端部に位置し、前記対向部材の外側に露出する複数の端子を含むパッド部と、を含み、
前記緩衝部材は、前記パッド部上に位置し、前記緩衝部材の前記段差部における厚さは、少なくとも前記対向部材の厚さと前記表示部の厚さとの合計以上であることを特徴とする平板表示パネル。
- 前記パッド部に接続される軟性回路基板を更に備え、
前記緩衝部材は、前記軟性回路基板上に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示パネル。 - 前記緩衝部材は、前記平板表示パネルの表面を平坦化することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の平板表示パネル。
- 前記接合部の外側に備えられ、前記段差部のうち、少なくとも一部をほぼ平坦にするための少なくとも一つの前記緩衝部材を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の平板表示パネル。
- 基板、
前記基板に対向して位置し、前記基板と接合され、前記基板より面積の小さな、フィルム状の対向部材、
前記基板と前記対向部材との間に位置する表示部、
前記表示部の外周面に沿って前記基板と対向部材との間に介在し、前記基板と対向部材を接合するための接合部、
前記対向部材の屈曲部分と、前記基板の接合部の外側で、前記基板と前記対向部材との面積が異なることに起因して生じる、少なくとも一つの段差部とからなる段差部分に備えられた、コーティング材で形成された緩衝部材、および、
前記基板の少なくとも一側端部に位置し、前記対向部材の外側に露出する複数の端子を
含むパッド部、を含み、
前記緩衝部材が、前記パッド部上に位置し、前記緩衝部材の前記段差部における厚さは、少なくとも前記対向部材の厚さと前記表示部の厚さとの合計以上である、所定画像を表示するための平板表示パネルと、
前記平板表示パネルを支持するための支持部材と、を有し、
少なくとも一つの前記緩衝部材が、前記段差部分と前記支持部材との間に介在することを特徴とする平板表示装置。
- 前記緩衝部材は、前記支持部材と、前記支持部材に接しない前記平板表示パネルの部分との間に介在することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記平板表示パネルは、前記対向部材が前記支持部材に対向するように配置されたことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記パッド部には、軟性回路基板が接続され、
前記緩衝部材は、前記軟性回路基板上に位置することを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の平板表示装置。
