Description
まず、基本材としてY2O3(AMR社から入手可能)母体に、5.7質量%のEuを共沈させた赤色蛍光体に、添加酸化物であるWO3を前記Y2O3母体1モルに対して1モル%の濃度で添加した。その後、前記混合物を十分に撹拌した後、大気雰囲気で、焼成温度1550℃で3時間熱処理した。熱処理が完了した焼成混合物に対して粉砕及び濾過を行って、最終的にY2O3−WO3複合相の存在するY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を得た。
前記実施例1でWO3の含有量を、1モル%の代わりに0.1モル%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法を行い、Y2O3−WO3複合相が存在するY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を得た。
前記実施例1でWO3の含有量を、1モル%の代わりに0.5モル%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法を行い、Y2O3−WO3複合相が存在するY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を得た。
前記実施例1でWO3の含有量を、1モル%の代わりに5モル%としたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法を行い、Y2O3−WO3複合相が存在するY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を得た。
実施例1で得られた赤色蛍光体の相分析結果を図1に示す。
前記実施例1で得られた赤色蛍光体を用いた、複合酸化物が存在する赤色蛍光体のCL光特性の結果を図2に表した。図2は、複合相の存在しない純粋なY2O3:Eu蛍光体のCL強度に対する実施例1の赤色蛍光体のCL強度を示す。
Claims (3)
- 導電性物質であるWO 3 が母体であるY 2 O 3 とY 6 WO 12 形態の複合相を形成し、前記WO 3 の含有量が前記Y 2 O 3 1モルに対して0.1モル%ないし5モル%であることを特徴とするY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体。
- Y2O3母体を含む溶剤に活性剤であるEuを共沈させて混合溶液を得る工程と、
前記混合溶液に導電性物質であるWO 3 を母体であるY 2 O 3 1モルに対して0.1モル%ないし5モル%の比率で添加して撹拌する工程と、
導電性物質が添加された前記混合溶液を1,500℃ないし1,600℃の温度で1時間ないし5時間熱処理して焼成混合物を得る工程と、
前記焼成混合物を粉砕及び濾過して導電性物質を含むY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を形成する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載のY2O3:Eu赤色蛍光体を用いた表示素子。
