本発明は、医用ステントおよび関連の方法に関する。より詳細には、本発明は、ステントの末端の領域よりも軟質の一端セクションを有する医用ステントに関する。
流体は、時折、身体から排出される必要がある。例えば、一方または両方の腎臓において形成される尿は、膀胱に排出される必要がある。このような排出を達成するための1つの方法は、管腔を通して流体(例えば、尿)を輸送する医用デバイスを使用することである。このようなデバイスとしては、ステントおよびカテーテルが挙げられる。現存のステントは、特に、このステントが腎臓と膀胱との間の尿管中にある場合、患者にとって不快であり得るか、または医師にとって患者内に配置することが困難であり得る。

Claims (19)
- 医療用ステントであって、以下:

第2セクションであって、該第2セクションは、管腔を規定し、そして第2保持構造を備え、第2デュロメーター値を有する第2材料を備える、第2セクション;ならびに
第3セクションであって、該第3セクションは、長手方向軸を有する管腔を規定し、そして該第1セクションと該第2セクションとの間に配置された、第3セクション、
を有し、ここで、
該第2デュロメーター値は、該第1デュロメーター値よりも大きく、
該第3セクションは、該第1材料と該第2材料との同時押出し成形物を備え、該第1材料と該第2材料とは別個で互いに異なり、そして該第1の材料と該第2の材料とは、該第3セクションにおいて非対称的な不規則な構成において組み合わされている、
医療用ステント。 - 前記第1材料が、エチレンビニルアセテートを含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第1材料が、ショアーAスケールで約70〜約90のデュロメーター値を有する、請求項1に記載のステント。

- 前記第1セクション、第2セクション、および第3セクションの少なくとも1つにおける前記管腔の断面が、円形である、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第1セクション、第2セクション、および第3セクションの少なくとも1つの断面が、円形である、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記第1セクション、第2セクション、および第3セクションの少なくとも1つが、放射線不透物質を含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 医療用ステントであって、以下:

第1セクションであって、該第1セクションは、長手方向軸を有する管腔を規定し、そして第1保持強度を有する第1材料および第1コイルを備える、第1セクション;

第3セクションであって、該第3セクションは、管腔を規定し、そして該第1セクションと該第2セクションとの間に配置された、第3セクション、
を有し、ここで、

該第3セクションは、該第1材料と該第2材料との同時押出し成形物を備え、該第1材料と該第2材料とは別個で互いに異なり、そして該第1の材料と該第2の材料とは、該第3セクションにおいて非対称的な不規則な構成において組み合わされている、
