Description
(a)突出部と凹部とを半径方向で係合させてアウトボード側の円すいころの内径側への移動規制を行い、その状態でアウトボード側の円すいころ列の外接円径が外輪の鍔部の内径寸法以下となる。
(b)ポケットの円周方向面と円すいころの外周面とを接触させてアウトボード側の円すいころの外径側への移動規制を行い、その状態で突出部と凹部が非接触になる。

Claims (3)
- ハブ輪と、ハブ輪に外嵌固定される内輪と、外輪と、外輪とハブ輪の間に介装されるアウトボード側の複数の円すいころと、外輪と内輪との間に介装されるインボード側の複数の円すいころと、円すいころを保持するポケットを有するアウトボード側及びインボード側の保持器とを備え、外輪の内周面のアウトボード側に鍔部を設けた車輪用軸受装置において、
アウトボード側の円すいころと保持器との間に半径方向の相対移動が許容され、かつアウトボード側の円すいころと保持器とからなるころアセンブリの状態で、アウトボード側の円すいころ列の外接円径が、鍔部の内径寸法以下の寸法と鍔部の内径寸法よりも大きい寸法とをとることができ、アウトボード側の円すいころの端面と当該端面に対向する保持器の面とのうち、何れか一方に突出部を設けると共に、他方に凹部を設け、
前記ころアセンブリが、以下の二つの条件を満たすことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置:
(a)突出部と凹部とを半径方向で係合させてアウトボード側の円すいころの内径側への移動規制を行い、その状態でアウトボード側の円すいころ列の外接円径が外輪の鍔部の内径寸法以下となる:
(b)ポケットの円周方向面と円すいころの外周面とを接触させてアウトボード側の円すいころの外径側への移動規制を行い、その状態で突出部と凹部が非接触になる。 - アウトボード側の保持器の最小内径部の内径寸法を、これに対向するハブ輪の外周面の外径寸法よりも僅かに大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- アウトボード側の保持器の最大外径部の外径寸法を、外輪の鍔部の内径寸法よりも僅かに小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車輪用軸受装置。
