Claims (7)
- 第1基板と第2基板間に所定の画像を具現する表示領域が具備された平板表示装置において、
前記第1基板と第2基板とを接着する密封材と、
前記第1基板または第2基板と前記密封材間に具備された少なくとも1つの配線部と、を含み、
前記表示領域は、
画素毎に提供された選択駆動回路と、
前記選択駆動回路を覆うように形成された絶縁膜と、
前記各画素に対応するように前記絶縁膜上に形成された画素電極と、を含み、
前記密封材と前記配線部間に介在されて前記配線部を覆うものであって、前記画素電極と同じ材質で形成された被覆層をさらに含むことを特徴とする平板表示装置であり、
前記密封材は前記第1基板及び前記第2基板の周部に配置されており、
前記密封材が配置された位置に対応する前記絶縁膜の部分が一部除去され前記絶縁膜の側端面の下側部分が前記密封材に接触して形成されているバンクをさらに備えていることを特徴とする平板表示装置。 - 前記配線部は前記選択駆動回路の電極のうち何れか1つと同じ材質で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記被覆層は金属酸化物層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記金属酸化物層はITO、IZO、ZnO、またはIn2O3で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記被覆層は金属層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記配線部のうち少なくとも1つは密封材に沿って延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
- 外部に露出される複数の端子を具備した端子領域をさらに含み、
前記配線部は前記端子領域の端子のうち少なくとも一部と前記表示領域とを電気的に連結することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示装置。
