Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施形態のタイヤ(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある。)1のトレッド部2の展開図である。図1に示されるように、本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、オフロードでの走行も想定されるSUV用の空気入りタイヤとして好適に使用される。但し、本発明のタイヤ1は、このような態様に限定されるものではない。
テスト車両:排気量3500cc、4輪駆動車
テストタイヤ装着位置:全輪
リム:20×10J
タイヤ内圧:全輪260kPa
上記テスト車両でロック路面及びスノー・マッド路面をそれぞれ一定距離走行した後のクラウンブロックの損傷程度が目視により評価された。結果は、比較例の前記損傷程度を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、クラウンブロックの耐久性が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両でロック路面を走行したときのグリップ性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例の前記グリップ性能を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、ロック路面でのグリップ性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両でスノー・マッド路面を走行したときのグリップ性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例の前記グリップ性能を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、スノー・マッド路面でのグリップ性能が優れていることを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (9)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、一対のショルダー主溝と、前記一対のショルダー主溝の間に形成された複数のクラウンブロックとを含み、
前記クラウンブロックは、踏面と、前記踏面の全周を囲むように配された面取り部と、前記面取り部よりもタイヤ半径方向内側の本体部とを含み、
前記本体部には、前記踏面と直交する横断面において階段状に曲がった少なくとも1つの階段状部分が設けられている、
タイヤ。 - 前記本体部には、前記階段状部分が複数設けられている、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記横断面において、前記面取り部のタイヤ半径方向の長さは、前記クラウンブロックのタイヤ半径方向の最大高さの15%以下である、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- トレッド平面視において、前記面取り部の幅は、前記クラウンブロックのタイヤ半径方向の最大高さの15%以下である、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記横断面において、前記階段状部分の前記踏面に沿った方向の長さは、前記面取り部のトレッド平面視における幅の80%〜150%である、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記階段状部分の段数は、2〜3である、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、副溝を介して隣り合う2つのクラウンブロックを含み、
前記2つのクラウンブロックは、それぞれ、前記副溝に面する位置に、前記階段状部分が設けられている、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。 - 前記クラウンブロックは、互いに形状の異なる第1クラウンブロック及び第2クラウンブロックを含む、請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、前記階段状部分が複数設けられた前記クラウンブロックを複数含んでいる、請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
