テスト車両:排気量2500cc、前輪駆動車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
上記テスト車両で雪路を走行したときの性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、雪上性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両で一定距離を走行したときのクラウン周方向溝の残り溝深さが測定された。結果は、比較例を100とする指数であり、数値が大きい程、クラウン周方向溝の残り溝深さが大きく、耐摩耗性能が優れていることを示す。
テスト結果が表1に示される。

Claims (11)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、第1トレッド端及び第2トレッド端と、タイヤ周方向に連続して延びる複数の周方向溝と、前記周方向溝に区分された複数の陸部とを含み、
前記周方向溝は、最も前記第2トレッド端側に配された第2ショルダー周方向溝と、前記第2ショルダー周方向溝の前記第1トレッド端側に隣接するクラウン周方向溝とを含み、
前記陸部は、前記第2ショルダー周方向溝と前記クラウン周方向溝との間の第2ミドル陸部を含み、
前記第2ミドル陸部は、前記第2ミドル陸部を完全に横切る複数のミドル横溝と、前記複数のミドル横溝に区分された複数のミドルブロックとを含み、
前記ミドルブロックは、前記第2ショルダー周方向溝に連通する2本の第1ミドルサイプと、前記2本の第1ミドルサイプの間に配された第2ミドルサイプとを含み、
前記第1ミドルサイプは、その深さ方向に波状に延びており、
前記第2ミドルサイプは、その深さ方向に直線状に延びており、
前記第2ミドルサイプは、前記第2ショルダー周方向溝から延びかつ前記第2ミドル陸部内で途切れている、

- 前記ミドル横溝は、タイヤ軸方向に対して傾斜し、
前記第1ミドルサイプ及び前記第2ミドルサイプは、タイヤ軸方向に対して前記ミドル横溝と同じ向きに傾斜している、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。 - 前記ミドルブロックには、前記クラウン周方向溝から延びかつ前記ミドルブロック内で途切れる複数のミドル短溝が設けられている、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第1ミドルサイプは、前記ミドル短溝に連通している、請求項5に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第1ミドルサイプは、トレッド平面視においてジグザグ状に延びている、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2ミドルサイプは、トレッド平面視において直線状に延びている、請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2ミドルサイプのタイヤ軸方向の長さは、前記第1ミドルサイプのタイヤ軸方向の長さよりも小さい、請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2ミドルサイプは、前記第2ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の中心位置よりも前記クラウン周方向溝側で途切れている、請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、前記第1トレッド端が車両装着時に車両外側に位置するように、車両への装着の向きが指定されている、請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
