Abstract
Description
本発明の実施例に係る未焼成の高密度なPTFEフィルム及びPTFE多孔質膜は、以下の製造方法にて製造される。
フィルムやロールの各性能は、以下の要領で測定した。
上記実施例1において、ニップロールにより圧縮する前の成形助剤除去フィルムと、ニップロールにより圧縮した後の未焼成高密度PTFEフィルムとについて、長さ、幅、厚み、密度、透明度、融点ピーク温度、引っ張り強度と伸び、及び、表面粗さを測定又は算出し、その変化を確認した。

Claims (7)
- ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを乳化重合することによって得られるポリテトラフルオロエチレンファインパウダーに成形助剤を添加した混合物を作製し、
当該混合物を押出成形金型に装填し、装填した前記混合物を当該押出成形金型から押し出して押出成形体を作製し、
当該押出成形体をロールによりフィルム状に圧延した後に成形助剤を除去した成形助剤除去フィルムを作製し、
金属製の軸芯に、JIS K6253に準拠して測定したタイプDデュロメータ硬さが80以上のゴムを被覆して構成されたゴムロールを備えたニップロールを使用し、
常温下において当該成形助剤除去フィルムを前記ニップロールに挟み込んで圧縮することにより、当該成形助剤除去フィルムの厚みを縮小させて、密度を2.0g/cm3以上にする
ことを特徴とする未焼成ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムの製造方法。 - 前記ニップロールの線圧力は、50kg/cm〜200kg/cmである

ことを特徴とするポリテトラフルオロエチレン多孔質膜の製造方法。 - 前記請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の未焼成ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムを、その片面又は両面に化学的エッチング処理を行い、
前記化学的エッチング処理された未焼成ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムを、その長さ方向又は幅方向のいずれか一方又は双方に延伸処理し、
前記延伸処理後の未焼成ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムを、未焼成ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの融点以上に加熱処理する
ことを特徴とするポリテトラフルオロエチレン多孔質膜の製造方法。
