Description
このような構成によって、保持器を弾性変形させたときの大径側対向面と小径側対向面との境界部分の応力集中をより確実に防止し、保持器を金型成形する際の脱型をより容易に行うことができる。

[円すいころ軸受の全体構成]
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る円すいころ軸受1を示す縦断面図である。
円すいころ軸受1は、内輪3と、内輪3の径方向外側に配置される外輪2と、内輪3と外輪2との間に配置される複数の円すいころ4と、複数の円すいころ4を保持する環状の保持器10とを備えている。
円すいころ軸受1を組み立てるには、まず、図6(A)に示すように、保持器10の各ポケット14に円すいころ4を収容する。そして、保持器10及び円すいころ4の組立体と、内輪3とを軸方向に沿って相対的に接近させる。
この成形金型50は、第1金型51と第2金型52とを有しており、第1金型51と第2金型52との間に保持器10を成形するキャビティが形成されている。保持器10の柱部13における第1の対向面25の小径側対向面25aと中間対向面25cとは、第2金型52によって成形される。また、第2金型52は、脱型の際に、第1金型51に対して矢印方向に相対移動する。
図8は、第2の実施形態における保持器10を示す縦断面図である。
図8に示す実施形態では、保持器10の小径環状部11に、凹部が形成されておらず、円すいころ4の小端面4aに対向する外側対向面33aと内側対向面33bとの間が、中間対向面33cにより接続されている。本実施形態では、図5に示す第1の実施形態に比べて保持器10の剛性が高くなり、保持器10が弾性変形し難くなるが、柱部13の凹部26によって円すいころ4の傾きが許容されるので、保持器10及び円すいころ4の組立体を内輪3に組み付け作業を容易に行うことができる。また、小径環状部11の内側対向面33bが円すいころ4の傾きを所定に制限するので、円すいころ軸受1を組み立てた後に、内輪3から円すいころ3が脱落するのを防止することができる。
凹部17,18の形状は、図示した形態以外であってもよく、変更可能である。また、ポケット14に収容する円すいころ4の径方向外側への脱落を阻止するころ止め部15についても、他の形態であってもよい。

- 軸方向一方側に設けられ径方向外側に突出する小鍔部及び軸方向他方側に設けられ径方向外側に突出する大鍔部を有する内輪と、
前記内輪の径方向外側に配置される外輪と、
前記内輪と前記外輪との間に配置される複数の円すいころと、
軸方向一方側の小径環状部、軸方向他方側の大径環状部、及び前記小径環状部と前記大径環状部とを連結している複数の柱部を有し、当該大径環状部と当該小径環状部との間であって周方向で隣り合う前記柱部の間に形成される空間が前記円すいころを収容するポケットとなる、環状の保持器と、を備えており、
前記柱部は、前記ポケットに収容された前記円すいころの外周面に対向する第1の対向面を有し、
前記第1の対向面は、
前記大径環状部側に配置された大径側対向面と、
前記小径環状部側に配置されかつ前記大径側対向面よりも前記円すいころの外周面から離れて配置された小径側対向面と、
前記大径側対向面と前記小径側対向面とを接続しかつ前記大径側対向面から前記小径側対向面へ向けて徐々に前記円すいころの外周面から離れるように傾斜して形成された中間対向面とを有している、円すいころ軸受。 - 前記小径環状部が、前記円すいころの小端面と対向して配置される第2の対向面を有しており、
前記第2の対向面が、
より径方向外側に位置する外側対向面と、
より径方向内側に位置しかつ前記外側対向面よりも前記小端面から前記円すいころの中心軸線方向に離れて配置された内側対向面と、を有している、請求項1に記載の円すいころ軸受。 - 前記第1の対向面において、前記大径側対向面に対する前記中間対向面の傾斜角度が、5°以上10°以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の円すいころ軸受。
- 前記第1の対向面において、前記大径側対向面と前記小径側対向面とが平行に設けられている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の円すいころ軸受。
