- 前記スナップフィットジョイントの前記タブのそれぞれは、前記スナップフィットジョイントの対応するスロットと係合されるバーブを画定する、請求項3に記載のアイスメーカ。
- 前記タンクは、前記タンクの前端部から水平の向きに対して下方に勾配したスパウトを画定し、
前記スパウトは、前記第1の蒸発器壁の前端部及び前記第2の蒸発器壁の前端部に隣接しかつ前記第1の蒸発器壁の前記前端部と前記第2の蒸発器壁の前記前端部との間に配置されており、
前記スパウトは、前記アイスメーカのクリーニング作業中に前記タンクにより画定される水リザーバにクリーニング溶液を導くように構成されている、請求項3に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 前記蒸発器ケースは、前記アイスメーカによる氷の製作のために用いられる水を収容するタンクを含み、
前記タンクは、前記タンクから垂直方向に延びかつ前記タンクと一体的に形成された第3突出部を含み、
前記アイスメーカは、
前記第3突出部の両側に面しかつ前記第3突出部に固定されたフロートスイッチ取付台と、
前記フロートスイッチ取付台に固定され、かつ、前記タンク内の前記水の水位を検知するように構成されたフロートスイッチと、を更に含む、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 前記蒸発器ケースの上端部に隣接しかつ前記蒸発器の上方に配置されかつ前記蒸発器に結合されたスプレーチューブを含み、
前記スプレーチューブは、
上半分と、前記上半分に永久的且つ封止可能に接合された下半分と、を含み、
前記上半分と前記下半分とは、前記スプレーチューブのチューブ部分の水平幅の半分超にわたって延びる開口部を画定し、
前記スプレーチューブは、氷を製作するために前記蒸発器に水を噴霧するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 前記蒸発器ケースの上端部に前記蒸発器を固定する蒸発器ブラケットと、
前記蒸発器ケースの前記上端部に隣接しかつ前記蒸発器の上方に配置されたスプレーチューブと、を更に含み、
前記スプレーチューブは、前記蒸発器ブラケットと係合されるレバーアームを含む、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 前記蒸発器は、複数の一体形成された蒸発器ブラケットに固定されており、
前記蒸発器ケースの第1の蒸発器壁及び第2の蒸発器壁のそれぞれは、内棚に水密ポケットを画定し、各前記蒸発器ブラケットのタブは、前記第1の蒸発器壁及び前記第2の蒸発器壁のうちの対応する蒸発器壁の前記水密ポケット内に受け入れられている、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 前記蒸発器の上端部に面しかつ前記蒸発器ケースの第1の蒸発器壁と第2の蒸発器壁との間に受け入れられた上部断熱材を更に含み、
前記上部断熱材は、前記上部断熱材の断熱材前端部の両側から延びるタブを含み、
前記タブのそれぞれは、前記第1の蒸発器壁及び前記第2の蒸発器壁のそれぞれに画定される切り欠き部内に受け入れられ、
前記タブは、前記上部断熱材を前記第1の蒸発器壁と前記第2の蒸発器壁とに固定する、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - メインコントローラを含む電気回路と、
前記蒸発器を含む冷却回路と、
水回路と、をさらに含み、
前記水回路は、
前記アイスメーカに入る水を受け入れかつ調整するように構成された入口水弁と、
前記アイスメーカを出る水を受け入れかつ調整するように構成された排水弁と、
前記入口水弁と前記排水弁との間に配置されたクリーニング弁と、を含み、
前記入口水弁、前記排水弁、及び前記クリーニング弁のそれぞれは、前記メインコントローラと電気通信しかつ前記メインコントローラによって制御され、
前記水回路内の水は、前記メインコントローラによる前記入口水弁、前記排水弁、及び前記クリーニング弁それぞれの動作によって、氷形成サイクル中に氷を製作し、クリーニングサイクル中に前記蒸発器をクリーニングするように構成されている、請求項1に記載のアイスメーカ。 - 蒸発器ケースの複数の内側パネルを、スナップフィットジョイントにより、各スナップフィットジョイントのタブを前記スナップフィットジョイントの対応するスロットに挿入することによって互いに組み付けることと、
前記内側パネル間の接続部により画定される継目に発泡体密シール及び水密シールを形成することと、
複数の外側パネルを、スライドジョイントにより、各スライドジョイントのリップを前記スライドジョイントの対応する溝に挿入することによって前記内側パネルに組み付けることであって、前記溝は、各前記内側パネル内に画定される複数の勾配した突出部の1つによって少なくとも部分的に画定される、ことと、
複数の前記外側パネルと複数の前記内側パネルとによって画定された断熱材用空洞内に配置された発泡断熱材により前記蒸発器ケースを断熱することと、
を含む、アイスメーカの製造方法。 - 前記蒸発器ケースの底部を画定するタンクに突出部を形成することであって、前記突出部は前記タンクから垂直に延び、前記タンクと一体的に形成される、ことと、
フロートスイッチをフロートスイッチ取付台に固定することと、
前記フロートスイッチ取付台を前記突出部に固定することであって、組み付け後、前記フロートスイッチ取付台は前記突出部の両側に面しており、前記フロートスイッチは、前記タンク内の水位を検知するように構成されている、ことと、
を更に含む、請求項13に記載の製造方法。 - 前記外側パネルと前記内側パネルとは共に、複数のオーバフロー断熱材用空洞を画定し、前記内側パネルの起立リブ及び壁と前記外側パネルのタブとは、複数の前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞のそれぞれを画定し、
前記製造方法は、複数の前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞において、
主要シールを画定するために前記外側パネルの内部表面を前記内側パネルの前記起立リブに接触させることと、
前記断熱材用空洞から前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞への前記発泡断熱材の流れを制限することと、を更に含み、
前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞は一対の間隙を除いて前記断熱材用空洞から遮断され、
前記一対の間隙の第1の間隙は、少なくとも部分的に第1の勾配した突出部によって前記起立リブの第1の端部に設けられ、
前記一対の間隙の第2の間隙は、少なくとも部分的に第2の勾配した突出部によって前記起立リブの第2の端部に設けられ、
前記第1の間隙及び前記第2の間隙のそれぞれにおける前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞の横断面積は、前記第1の間隙及び前記第2の間隙のそれぞれからオフセットした位置における前記オーバフロー断熱材用空洞の横断面積よりも小さい、請求項13に記載の製造方法。 - アイスメーカを使用する方法であって、
前記アイスメーカの蒸発器上に氷を形成することであって、前記蒸発器は、前記アイスメーカの蒸発器ケース内に収容されている、ことと、
前記蒸発器から前記氷を回収することと、
前記蒸発器をクリーニングすることと、を含み、
前記蒸発器をクリーニングすることは、
全体的なクリーニング手順を開始するために、前記全体的なクリーニング手順の第1の手動介入において前記アイスメーカのスイッチを作動させることと、
第2の手動介入が必要なことをユーザに通知するために聴覚警報を鳴らすことと、
前記第2の手動介入において前記蒸発器ケースのタンクにクリーニング流体を注ぐことと、
前記第2の手動介入の完了時にクリーニング段階及び消毒段階のうちの1つを自動的に開始しかつ完了することであって、前記クリーニング段階及び前記消毒段階のうちの前記1つを自動的に開始することは、前記アイスメーカの水回路のクリーニング弁を前記アイスメーカのメインコントローラによって動作させることを含む、ことと、
すすぎ段階を自動的に開始しかつ完了することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記アイスメーカの外部ケーシングの一部分を固定している1つの締結具を取り外すことと、
前記1つの締結具を取り外すことのみにより、前記ユーザが前記蒸発器ケースの前記タンクのスパウトに前記アイスメーカの前部からツールなしでアクセスすることと、を更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記タンクに前記クリーニング流体を注ぐことは、前記蒸発器ケースの前記タンク内に設けられたスパウトに前記クリーニング流体を注ぐことを含み、前記スパウトは、前記タンクの前端部から水平の向きに対して下方に勾配しており、
前記方法は、前記タンクにより画定される水リザーバに前記クリーニング流体を導くことを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記アイスメーカの水ポンプに、前記水ポンプを出る水を脈動させることと、
前記蒸発器のクリーニングを容易にするために前記アイスメーカの前記水回路を通して前記蒸発器に脈動状態で前記水を届けることと、を更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記全体的なクリーニング手順中に前記水回路の全てのホースの接続を維持することを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
