前記機能性層(3)が、固化された銅マトリックスであって、該銅マトリックスを基準として5から35% w/wの1つ以上の硬質相をさらに含む固化された銅マトリックスからなる、

- 前記キャリア層(2)の前記熱伝導率が、500℃において220W/mK以上であることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のバルブシートリング。
- 前記機能性層(3)の熱伝導率が、500℃において70W/mK以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1から12のいずれか1項に記載のバルブシートリング。
- 粉末冶金法により製造されることを特徴とする、請求項1から13のいずれか1項に記載のバルブシートリング。
- 請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載のバルブシートリングの製造方法であって、
− 粉末を混合する工程、
− 前記キャリア層(2)の前記粉末を、成形ダイに充填する工程、
− 必要であれば、前記キャリア層の前記粉末を予備圧縮する工程、
− 前記機能性層(3)の前記粉末を、成形ダイに充填する工程、
− 前記ダイの中の前記粉末を圧縮する工程、
− 前記粉末を焼結する、もしくは前記粉末をHIPに供する工程、および
− 焼結されたリングに、熱的もしくは機械的な後処理を施す工程、
を特徴とする製造方法。 - 前記粉末が、第1の前記焼結する工程の後に、事後圧縮および/または事後焼結されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の製造方法。
- 前記焼結する工程が、850℃以上の温度で行われることを特徴とする、請求項15または16に記載の製造方法。
- 前記圧縮が、CIPによって行われることを特徴とする、請求項15から17のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- コーティングが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載のバルブシートリング。
